  1. Hey all, In LA this weekend. Just wanted to know if Busby's is still the place to be for the Bills game Sunday morning. I've never been but a quick google search said that was where I should be. Their site hasn't been updated since last year though (or I'm not looking in the right spot). If not there, can anyone recommend a good sports bar with a big screen that will also have the audio? Thanks in advance!
  2. The NFL world is so reactionary. LJ is the latest "we've never seen anything like this before" flavour of the week. RG3's rookie year. Chip Kelly's up tempo scheme. Miami with the wildcat. Mcvay's offense just last season. All these coaches and players try to revolutionize the game and then someone (usually Bill Belichick) comes and sh*ts all over their plans and we have to see the Patriots make another super bowl at the end of the year. The same thing is going to happen this year. The Ravens aren't getting by New England in January.
  3. We had the Williams brothers on our team a few years ago. Kyle, Mario, Karlos, Duke, Aaron, Mike.
  4. Wilson is 10x the passer Jackson is. Hell, Wilson is 10x the passer he used to be early in his career. Not saying Jackson won't get there, but it's not an accurate comparison right now.
  5. What an idiotic post. Who said it matters? It's just an observation.
  6. There are two teams that the Bills haven't beaten during the drought (and since). The Saints are one. Guess who the other is..
  7. How much? I've been checking recently and they're ridiculously expensive.
  8. They beat the Browns also
  9. I don't believe so. They will still have a better common opponents record.
  10. OP, you're right. Don't mind the people who don't understand your premise. Assuming we are making the playoffs as the 5 seed and aren't winning the division (which was more of a certainty before this Sunday nighter started) losing to the Ravens would be better for the reasons you mentioned. Obviously you don't go into the game trying to lose. But sometimes it's better in the long run.
  11. This would be awesome. Al Michaels is the best in the business and hasn't called a Bills game since we crushed the Patriots 56-10 in 2007. My lobotomist said that was his favourite all-time game.
  12. I'd take Brown over Brown. But if we had Brown and Brown together, that would really open things up for Brown.
  13. I didn't win the lottery last week so I can't afford the tickets. Kudos to you, moneybags!
  14. None of them. Each win drops the Bills' draft position.
  15. Beane seems to do well with the depth guys but two of his bigger signings haven't been so great. Morse is not good. The line has played better both times he's been out this year. Kroft has also been a complete non-factor.
  16. Kevin Johnson should be opposite White from now on and if Levi Wallace never sees the field again it'll be too soon.
  17. As mentioned earlier, this is the least important game left on the schedule in terms of playoff importance, but I think I want this one more than any other game this year. Don't think there's another NFL personality I despise more than Jerry Jones. I would love to see the look on his ghoulish face if the Bills win Thursday.
  18. The line has played better without Morse. He continually gets beat in short yardage situations
  19. Good analysis OP. By extension, we should hope that they don't win their division but do enough to knock off the other two teams who don't either, especially Jacksonville as we have the head to head over Tennessee.
  20. Thought about this thread after the game today. Good call OP. Hoping the offense can build off this.
  21. Maybe not as bad as this but I can't believe not more was made of that awful play by that meathead.
  22. Retroactive suspension to last week so they have to replay that game.
  23. I generally agree with Schopp but he's wrong here. If the Bills really wanted to run the clock, they would have ran the play clock down instead of snapping it with 14 seconds left. And they'd have likely run the ball to keep the clock running and call a timeout to make the kick the last play of the game. Sal's right. Daboll blew it and it's as simple as that. Incompetence, not conservatism - this time, anyway.
  24. Not in the least. Did you see how process-y Ed Oliver and (traded up for) Cody Ford looked on the sidelines the last two weeks?
