  1. According to Rex, he's the best player on the team.
  2. Where did Verner sign? He was at the top of my FA list for the Bills before the draft.
  3. Perhaps I'm biased, but the Bills one is almost always the best one. This was no exception. Bravo, Magary. The guy might look like he's missing a chromosome but he sure can write.
  4. Water can be contaminated in so many different ways. The environment can be destroyed in so many different ways. I don't want to discuss the relevance of that when it comes to fracking.
  5. Not sure, but you'd also have to account for the 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty to Jerry Hughes
  6. Good topic OP. Mine would be McDermott being just another typical meathead coach whose football mentality is stuck in the 70s. I'm already kind of worried about this, with his "you have to be able to run the ball" quotes. This is why I think Dennison is the key to the team's success this year. I'm hoping he's different and more forward-thinking. Or we'll be right back here in 2-3 years again.
  7. EJ highlights: 1. Cried after a week 2 win. 2. Shushed a road crowd after leading the 3rd string offense to a 4th quarter touchdown in a preseason game. End
  8. How about a spoiler alert for those that haven't got around to watching it yet? Yeesh
  9. Not painting everyone with the same two brushes, but reading this thread and the many others like it, a few things are apparent for the most part: Pro-Tyrod fans: detailed, reasoned posts with actual data and intelligent discourse Anti-Tyrod fans: short posts with spelling mistakes full of "count the rings, bro" counterarguments Tyrod is good. And seriously underrated among his own fan base. This team has gone so long with monkey turds behind center that it's hard for some to recognize competence.
  10. Tyrod is the saviour. He'll prove it this year.
  11. No, you're ugly. Fitz isn't a top 40 qb among tbd board members, let alone the NFL. Even you're better than him.
  12. Ryan Fitzpatrick having a career as an NFL quarterback seems like it was a science experiment. Or the result of him winning a contest. The guy is truly atrocious.
  13. Of all the coaches to keep from the previous regime, he keeps Crossman. Then they don't pick up Sammy's option. And he likes to preach about running and stopping the run. He'll be gone in 2019.
  14. Lots of narrow-minded ageism going on. I'd say invite him to camp and see if he can help the Bills at a position where they have next to nothing behind Shady. A player who had more career carries than Fred going into last season, for the record. Fred has been proving the doubters wrong his whole career. I wouldn't bet against him.
  15. He's well-spoken and smart?? Pretty sure that's the first time anyone has said such a thing about that walking dunce cap. If your standard for intelligence is an inbred gorilla then you may have a point. Even then it's debatable.

  17. The highlight of his Bills career? Probably his draft video when they kept showing those couple of plays where he slapped a d-lineman to the ground in college. Good luck to the guy, but a complete waste of a second rounder.
  18. For strictly on-field performance, I don't think I've ever hated a Bills player more than Fitzpatrick. Whether it was the ball slipping out of his baby hands whenever he tried to put some extra zip on a throw, or one of a seemingly endless list of 4th quarter choke jobs, it hit me very early on that this guy was just a born loser. Even when he played well it seemed like it was happening by accident. Seems like a nice guy off the field, but excruciatingly frustrating to watch as your team's QB.
  19. I'd prefer it if they designed the offense around his unique skillset. He's at his best when improvising. It doesn't have to be a bad thing that he holds on to the ball longer most because he can avoid pressure longer than most. Designed rollouts, moving pocket, guys running deep, etc. Be unconventional.
  20. You're all a bunch of ungrateful bastards. If it wasn't for Russ, there's no way the Bills would have been able to get Psy to perform Gangnam Style in Toronto at halftime in that game against Seattle.
  21. Why is it always "player doesn't fit the system" and not "system doesn't fit the player"? A good coach gets the most out of his players, whether that means he has to adjust his system or not. Isn't that what everyone was on Rex for? Darby has shown talent and work ethic. He never quits on a play and looked fantastic in 2015. If he doesn't look good this year, I'd say it says more about McDermott than him.
  22. Great read?? That was as boring and uninsightful as their respective press conferences. King used to at least get the odd readable articles via his fabled ass-kissing but he can't even do that anymore.
