Awesome! Thanks so much for the replies, all. Any thoughts on what time I should get there? Do they stop letting people in if it's at a certain capacity?
Hey all,
In LA this weekend. Just wanted to know if Busby's is still the place to be for the Bills game Sunday morning. I've never been but a quick google search said that was where I should be. Their site hasn't been updated since last year though (or I'm not looking in the right spot).
If not there, can anyone recommend a good sports bar with a big screen that will also have the audio?
Thanks in advance!
The NFL world is so reactionary. LJ is the latest "we've never seen anything like this before" flavour of the week. RG3's rookie year. Chip Kelly's up tempo scheme. Miami with the wildcat. Mcvay's offense just last season. All these coaches and players try to revolutionize the game and then someone (usually Bill Belichick) comes and sh*ts all over their plans and we have to see the Patriots make another super bowl at the end of the year. The same thing is going to happen this year. The Ravens aren't getting by New England in January.
Wilson is 10x the passer Jackson is. Hell, Wilson is 10x the passer he used to be early in his career. Not saying Jackson won't get there, but it's not an accurate comparison right now.
OP, you're right. Don't mind the people who don't understand your premise. Assuming we are making the playoffs as the 5 seed and aren't winning the division (which was more of a certainty before this Sunday nighter started) losing to the Ravens would be better for the reasons you mentioned. Obviously you don't go into the game trying to lose. But sometimes it's better in the long run.
This would be awesome. Al Michaels is the best in the business and hasn't called a Bills game since we crushed the Patriots 56-10 in 2007. My lobotomist said that was his favourite all-time game.
Beane seems to do well with the depth guys but two of his bigger signings haven't been so great. Morse is not good. The line has played better both times he's been out this year. Kroft has also been a complete non-factor.
As mentioned earlier, this is the least important game left on the schedule in terms of playoff importance, but I think I want this one more than any other game this year. Don't think there's another NFL personality I despise more than Jerry Jones. I would love to see the look on his ghoulish face if the Bills win Thursday.
Good analysis OP.
By extension, we should hope that they don't win their division but do enough to knock off the other two teams who don't either, especially Jacksonville as we have the head to head over Tennessee.
