  1. Not sure that's a good thing. This other guy looks better than Lynch right now.
  2. http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Forgetful_Jones
  3. Good player. His emotional instability is, at best, annoying. At worst, self-destructive.
  4. Thank you. Context matters in a team sport. That often gets lost among many. The one positive thing about this nauseating Tyrod debate here over the past while is that it has proven to be a good litmus test to show who watches football with a intelligent and analytical eye, and the other side that talks about wins and losses, 300 yard games and fourth quarter comebacks. To the latter group, please take it easy on the table jumps tomorrow morning.
  5. And he had better games against better defenses throughout the year too. What's your point?
  6. Give it a rest dude. Either you're trolling or Tyrod slept with your mom. Regardless, you make this forum worse with this nonsense in every thread.
  7. My sentiments exactly. The AFC is unexpectedly wide open this season. It may not have been part of the original "process" but plans can change. Make it happen OBD.
  8. Apparently he's requested a trade. What would it take to get him? His big play ability could be a game changer for this offense.
  9. QB is the most difficult position in terms of knowing the offense, timing, etc. Sam Bradford got to Minnesota late last year right before the season started and did quite well. Football isn't as complicated as it's made out to be. More often than not, the team with the most talent wins, as long as you don't have a coach who will get in the way of that.
  10. We had people on here excited about the corpse of Anquan Boldin over the summer, yet Stevie Johnson is too old. I'd give him a shot. Work him out, see if he's healthy. The playoffs are very much a realistic possiblity this season. The Bills aren't a perfect team by any means but luckily the afc looks really weak this season. Would hate to miss out because the front office didn't explore all options to upgrade their weakest position. I disagree. I think he just needs to see a guy open. And for that matter, Stevie would always get where he needed to be. He just took unorthodox routes to get there.
  11. Ya, you folks are right. Let's stick with the budding all-pros on the roster right now. It's more about the dire situation at receiver right now than it is about Stevie dropping a pass against the Steelers years ago. If you think that these practice squad jobbers are all better than Stevie, then fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I suppose. I just think he'd be an upgrade who'd come cheap and would mesh well with Taylor's style.
  12. Setting nostalgia aside, we are in terrible shape at receiver. The big knock on Tyrod is that he doesn't throw to a guy until he's open. I'm a pro-Tyrod guy, but even I see this at times. Stevie had his faults too, but one thing he was great at was getting open. A burner would be nice, but I believe the passing philosophy of these coaches is predicated on quick throws instead of longer developing plays. I really think Stevie's skill set would mesh perfectly with Tyrod. Not sure how healthy he is at this point. I know he was hinting at wanting to come back to Buffalo earlier this season so I'm sure he still wants to play. With what we'll be trotting out at receiver against Tampa in 11 days, we're not really giving Tyrod and the offense a chance.
  13. Josh Gordon on every drug known to man would still be miles better than anyone we'll be trotting out against Tampa in two weeks. Sign this junkie!
  14. I'm very curious as to how McDermott settled on him after McCoy went to Denver. Were there any other candidates? Dennison just came out of left field with no fanfare or track record of success. I'd totally be on board with firing him but the big question is who replaces him?
  15. Matthews was injured when we traded for him. And Sammy was healthy, for the record. As for Clay, if you think his knee injury was impossible to predict, you haven't been following this team very closely over the past few years. In fact, there were loud rumours that he was damaged goods when they initially signed him.
  16. I might be the biggest Tyrod fan on the board. He played bad today.
  17. 58 pts against would have been humiliating. We held them to 56.
  18. good call...hadn't seen this yet 3:10...haha...no you're not, matty ice
