  1. The way it's looking now is that the ravens and chargers will make it and the bills and titans are on the outside looking in. This is assuming we lose next week and beat Miami week 17. And that the chiefs win one of their final two (home dolphins, at broncos) This changes if: 1. the titans beat the rams next week or 2. the chargers lose one of their last two (at jets, home raiders) or 3. ravens lose one of their last two (home colts, home bengals) this is why that titans loss today sucked so badly for the bills...we need them to go 9-7 just as badly as we need to go 9-7, with that 9th win not being against an afc team because there's a good chance the ravens and chargers are going 4-0 the next two weeks
  2. yup..can't be overstated enough how much better it would have been had the titans not choked the game away against the niners earlier today
  3. After going through the NYT simulator, it just hit me that I was cheering for the wrong team a little over an hour ago. Needed the Titans to win that game in SF. It's a longshot now, but we would have been in good shape if the Titans could have held on. Garoppolo to Goodwin got them in fg range...ouch.
  4. Not all 11 guys are receivers on the hands team. His job is to let the ball go by him while he holds the kicking team at bay. I hate Crossman as much as anyone, but this one is all on stupid Preston Brown. You can't be a winning team with dumb players like that. Hopefully he's gone after this season.
  5. Not Taylor's fault. He can put up points if Dennison had any clue on how to use him. He's done it in the past. The team's downfall is coaching. Again. For example, how would Tom Brady do in a wildcat or read/option offense?
  6. Any scenario involving the bills going into new england and beating them in a late season game that the Pats need is just not rooted in reality. No way they win that game unless something completely unforeseen happens. I'm as hopeful as anyone, but to be completely objective, the team has gotten worse as the year has progressed, which is a bad sign for this coaching staff. I really don't see them beating Miami twice. Maybe not even once. Let alone the Patriots. You never know though, I guess.
  7. Do we have a new insider? Where do you rank on a scale from Leroi to Nevergiveup?
  8. Glad you remembered that. That was ridiculous. He looked/spoke like a certified lunatic. There's zero chance he was sober at that moment.
  9. Get embarrassed playing the Jaguars or titans? You should watch more football.
  10. Not sure how or why it happened but this site has gotten exponentially worse since it did.
  11. Either this board has been taken over by Putin's anti-Tyrod bots, or the majority of Bills supporters are the most genetically stupid fans in football.
  12. Schopp is great radio. The best on that station easily. I feel as though the people that don't like him are the kinds of people that would actually call in to a radio show instead of just listening. You people think you have it bad? Try listening to the cavalcade of meatheads up here in Toronto.
  13. The simple answer, and the one ultimate reason you can point to for this historic run of incompetence, is that the Bills are terrible at player development. The only reason I haven't gone crazy knowing they could have drafted Aaron Rodgers if they hadn't moved up for JP Losman is believing that he'd have been driven out of the league by now if he started out here. They may have had the "guy" many times over here, but they just haven't hired the right people to nurture that talent.
  14. Absolutely agree. But not with the list. Clean house by getting rid of Beane, McDermott et al and get someone in here that can get the most out of what they have. "Fitting the scheme" = never making the playoffs
  15. The Anti-Tyrod crowd won't be satisfied until he becomes 6'4, white and slow. The bias is strong with these fans. O'Leary is a nothing player. Not a difference maker in the least. The lack of receiving skill they trotted out on Thursday was just sad. His incredible brain fart last Tuesday has barely even been discussed. That was a game killer.
  16. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201001100crd.htm In the same season: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200910110buf.htm To all of "the only stat that matters is wins" people, do you realize how dense you sound? One thing I wish fans could understand is that you can't use wins and losses to determine an individual player's value in a team sport. This isn't tennis or golf.
  17. He can play safety AND db?? Wow. Can he also play defense? What about football?
  18. WRONG Anyone who knows anything about football knows that was on Logan Thomas. He is supposed to break his route to the empty endzone when he sees the safety vacate his zone. It was a clear TD if Thomas looked there before he made his break. Tyrod even tried to wave him into the end zone and the guy kept running towards the sideline. Tyrod has made some mistakes, but if Thomas adjusts his route, and Zay Jones doesn't in Carolina, there's a serious chance that the Bills are playing for 8-0 tonight.
  19. At the risk of using another blackjack analogy, you're doubling down on an already losing hand. Take the L and hope for the best next time. We're all rooting for you.
  20. He's a really good, sometimes great, qb. Just unconventionally so. As someone above posted, people are stuck with their prejudices on what a qb should look like. Luckily there are NFL people who feel the same way so that's why we have him for a relatively cheap contract. Build a team around this guy and he'll take us to the promised land. #SaviorTaylor
