  1. Schopp is smarter than most of the people he has to deal with. And talk about, for that matter (eg Bills management). The majority of sports fans aren't too bright so of course they don't like him. He cuts through all the cliché sports BS (momentum, preseason competition, etc) I think he's easily the best talent on that station and if you ever had to listen to the pathetic radio personalities in Toronto, he's miles ahead of anyone here too.
  2. Get that kid a helmet. With Matthews' hands, that baby is getting dropped on the regular.
  3. Can't help but feel jealous here. It's like we're playing in a different league. The Rams have a genius as a coach. We have a glorified high school gym teacher.
  4. Totally agree. It wasn't always like this though. Somehow, the koolaid drinkers have become more emboldened in their lack of football knowledge and taken over the last couple of years. Kind of a microcosm of the entire country actually.
  5. They absolutely should. But they won't. The irony of possibly drafting first overall and passing on a QB because you sold the farm to take the third one off the board the year before.. Having said that, Allen could pan out and be better than any qb in 2019. Then again, it's the Bills.
  6. Rest assured OP, there are fans out there that agree with you 100%. The ones who don't appeal to authority. Those who have watched this same song and dance time and again and correctly stated it was doomed to fail from the beginning. Basically fans who don't squeeze their eyes shut and plug their ears and start singing the shout song anytime someone says something critical about the team. The problem is, most of us just don't have the energy to deal with these loud koolaid drinkers anymore. It's been 18 years of incompetent management and this latest installment is no different.
  7. A question for you as you were at the game.. Was the stadium as empty/lifeless as it seemed on tv? Get that the weather was a factor, but still. Also, it seemed that the loudest cheer of the game was from the bills fans when they recovered the fumble early on.
  8. Did anyone read this? What did he say about not bringing Mack aboard?
  9. I swear, the bills could trot out a blind doberman with three legs behind center and you'd have fans here saying "ya, but who thought air bud would have done what he did?" The guy sucks and he always will. It's not personal. He just doesn't have pro-level talent. Every game you start him is valuable in-game experience that Allen should be getting.
  10. Agree with most of this but I don't really get why everyone is in love with McDermott. We got really lucky last year in a weak year for the AFC. He's just another in the long line of dinosaurs who will never have the balls to win anything big in this league. Playing it safe by punting on 4th and short near midfield in a meaningless preseason game when you are still in evaluation mode is just another example of how clueless this guy is. We're going nowhere with these two in charge.
  11. Sometimes a guy is just an a-hole. Doesn't have to be more complicated than that. So glad this POS is off the team.
  12. In Tecmo Super Bowl, his passing speed would be 94. Right up there with Dan Marino and Billy Joe Tolliver.
  13. Technically it was the longest in-air TD I believe, but still impressive nonetheless. Our Uncle Rico threw it roughly 80 yards at the combine. YouTube it. He has the strongest arm in the league, imo.
  14. Different OC every year he was here. Garbage/injuries at the WR position. Horsesh*t for an offensive line. And stayed classy all the way. For the life of me, I can't figure out why the city of buffalo didn't warm to him... (Yes I can)
  15. Can't get over how incredibly stupid it was to not pick up his option and then turn around and trade him for 20 cents on the dollar. Classic Bills management.
  16. "There's no such thing as losses in the NFL. Losses are actually learns." - Nathan Peterman Although he said that quote (or a version of it) was uttered by our mad-clappin' head coach. So technically we went undefeated last year. Nine wins and 8 learns.
  17. If we can petition the NFL to legally allow linemen to stand backwards we should slot her in as right guard for this season.
  18. Guy's a prick. Always has been. Don't think I've ever disliked a Bills player more than him. Good on the field, but I am glad I don't have to cheer for him again.
  19. Can I patent "just throw Daboll!" when we all get sick of his old school, run-first scheme? I'm guessing this happens by week 3.
  20. Jim Kelly trying to be the hero cost the Bills the game.
  21. This topic could go on forever, as you'd be hard-pressed to find a more inept franchise in professional sports. Pretty much every head coaching/gm move they've made since firing Wade. Including the current regime. A multitude of ridiculous draft pick blunders, trades, cuts is a direct result of that.
