Nonsense speculation from a talking head begging for attention
QB Bills replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not sure it's more Dorsey than it is McDermott. He mentioned a few times that some teams are particularly offensively minded. Seemed like more of a high level criticism than anything. Can't say I disagree with him. -
Diggs interview with Dan Patrick on 2/10..
QB Bills replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
He sees every day what the rest of us see for 3 hours on Sundays. And unlike some of the other players on the team, he's in a place where he can subtly call out his incompetent coach. You win with a mindset like Diggs' and lose with a mindset like Clappy's. Optics be damned.- 79 replies

Of course this jackass never misses against us. But misses an easy one in the super bowl
-
I'm thinking Clappy threw the Bengals game with that god awful gameplan just so we wouldn't have the Bills in a Fox-broadcasted Super Bowl.

Counterpoint..people like the op and those who agree with him/her are the worst kinds of fans. If we win, awesome. If we lose.. it's okay it's just football, go take care of your family. Just the worst kind of condescending, gatekeeping bs that is the real poison . You're starting a thread complaining about other people complaining. Who's the real loser here? If a game doesn't affect you the way it does other fans, then why do you even need to post this here? Beyond that, wtf else are we supposed to be discussing here the week of the super bowl knowing that we could easily have been playing in this game? Some of you have perspective that you believe the rest of us lack. Nonsense, but you do you. Pat yourself on the back. Also know this though, if and when the Bills finally do win it all, it'll feel much better to those of us who are that emotionally invested in them compared to y'all in the level-headed brigade.

Threads upon threads upon threads but this is really what it boils down to. We have (in my opinion) the most talented QB in the league. What needs to happen before next season for us to all die (eventually!) happy? I'll throw it out there and say that we'll have to win big in spite of a coward as head coach. It can be done but we'll never have an advantage at the HC position in the playoffs. Barry Switzer did it so it's not impossible. My wish would be to kick Clappy to the curb and hire Ben Johnson but that's not going to happen. As such I'm not too optimistic about 2023. Somebody talk me off the ledge.

Was speaking generally. Not this play specifically. But he was good at creating mismatches. Small things like lining up a receiver in the backfield like he did with Nelson here, for example. He did that with Stevie Johnson often.

Man, Gailey really knew how to design some creative plays. Wonder how he would have done with a talent like Allen at his disposal.

Frazier: The hard FACTS on why many of us want a change.
QB Bills replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Has the whole world gone insane??? THIS IS A SEAN MCDERMOTT DEFENSE!!! What is wrong with you people? I said this in another thread last week, but it appears that Leslie Frazier's best quality is being able to take bullets for his idiot head coach. Firing him is not going to change a thing. Not sure if you saw the game, but Clapmaster 2000 was the one calling timeouts with 13 seconds left last year and setting up the defense the way he saw fit. I really don't need to mention him throwing his players under the bus after the game as it doesn't have anything to do with the point, but I don't like him so I will. I can't believe this is a serious opinion, let alone one echoed by so many fans on this board. If the Rams offense constantly underperformed in the playoffs, would anyone be calling for their OC's head instead of McVay? Can anyone even name their OC? The Bills will need a miracle to win a Super Bowl with this guy as head coach. It could happen, but it's highly unlikely. They should have canned his cowardly ass after the first KC playoff loss after he showed his true colours. We've got an absolute dynamo at the most important position in the game and it's being wasted by a glorified DB coach who's obviously in way over his head. -
I said this Last Year McDermott lacks the killer instinct.
QB Bills replied to Rebel101's topic in The Stadium Wall
They beat Daniel Jones and an armless Brock Purdy to get there. Can't recall an easier path to the championship. They're a well-rounded team, but they've also gotten incredibly fortunate this season. -
Pat Williams back in town?

PSA: This is Sean McDermott's defense, not Leslie Frazier's
QB Bills replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sure. And when you play the local scratch-off ticket, you might win 20 bucks the odd time. But you'll never hit the jackpot. -
PSA: This is Sean McDermott's defense, not Leslie Frazier's
QB Bills replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
The drought has emotionally scarred many Bills fans. We're finally a good team and people are afraid of any kind of big change for fear that we'll go back to being an afterthought. The reasons for keeping McDermott are all backwards looking in that sense. Some of you need to dream bigger. From what I've seen the past few years are seasons with the most naturally gifted player at the most important position in his prime being wasted. I was screaming to fire McDermott after the first KC playoff loss after it became clear to me that we would only ever win big in spite of him. It sucks when you just wish your coach won't get in the way. I don't have any confidence that we'll ever have a head coaching advantage in any big game. I'd rather we turn the page sooner instead of having this same conversation a year from now with another season of Allen getting beat up. -
I know everyone is still upset about that no-show against Cincinnati but what is going on with this fire Leslie Frazier movement? Don't know whether he's a good coordinator or not, but I've come to realize that his best quality is to take bullets for his incompetent boss. Do fans not realize that McDermott is running the show on that side of the ball? Can you imagine if the Chiefs' offense continually crapped the bed in the playoffs and people said "you know who needs to go? Bienemy. He's really making Andy Reid look bad." Would anyone take that person seriously?

Eagles olineman indicted on rape and kidnapping charges
QB Bills replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall

That sucks. Really wanted Allen and the Bills to crush him once before he retired. Never thought he was the most talented QB but definitely the most accomplished player of all time. How much of that success was obtained fairly, we'll probably never know.

Dawkins, Saffold and Knox added to Pro Bowl
QB Bills replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Did they add a hot dog eating contest to this year's activities? That's the only way this makes sense. -
Its possible there was an inexcusable equipment blunder that we may never hear about. Look at the way Cook was running compared to Mixon. It's like our guys were on skates.
-
Was a pretty tame post actually. Not sure if you're overly sensitive or just deflecting because of how much of a buffoon you've come across as in this thread. In either case, this 'contrarion without a cause' personality you've crafted on this board really has run it's course. Think about trying something else.

There are yogis in India that would be jealous of the amount of stretching you're doing here. You should change your screen name to Dhalsim.

There's a Damar Hamlin conspiracy theory on Twitter right now
QB Bills replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
This thread will get shut down shortly. And that's probably for the best. In the meantime, I'm going to start my own conspiracy theory: The Bills actually won those 4 Super Bowls in the early 90s. -
The heart/3 was in support of their teammate who almost died on the field in front of them. He is mocking that. You obviously don't think there's anything wrong with that, but some fans do and it's getting discussed here. On a Buffalo Bills message board. Crazy, I know. Filling diapers? Nobody is talking about going to his house and peeing on his lawn. Why is this so difficult for you?
-
There's nothing said on this board that can't be justly countered with "relax, it's just a game". It's a lazy reply that contributes nothing to the discussion. As the famous philosoper Jeffrey Lebowski once said, "You're not wrong Walter, you're just an a******". Also, you're either blindly stupid or being willfully ignorant in regards to that tweet.
