  1. Any thoughts of putting him at rb for a few snaps? He gets downhill (waaay past the qb) real quick.
  2. I think if you read between the lines, it's pretty obvious that Allen isn't all that enamoured with McDermott. And rightfully so. He'd likely never do it, but I would totally support him pushing for a head coaching change.
  3. This is the worst thing an NBC exec has done since Don Ohlmeyer fired Norm from weekend update. That guy was a real jerk! Seriously though, there's a certain mystique about the way Al Michaels calls a game. His style is unparalleled. Still my favourite play by play announcer next to Dick Enberg.
  4. I assume this will get deleted, but that was hilarious 😂😂
  5. Mahomes has always been a class act. Until today. What a ridiculous tantrum he threw. And then to double down on it afterwards in his press conference? Just pathetic.
  6. Most talented QB in the league.
  7. I can almost guarantee they didn't let Bass attempt that kick because mcdope is worried about it getting blocked and returned for a TD. Fear wins again.
  8. Does a 50+ yard field goal ever go the Bills way? Oh well, go BeatHard!
  9. Not to sound callous, hope he's okay, but this year is going to go down as a huge wasted opportunity due to inexcusable losses to garbage teams. The afc is just there for the taking.
  10. I don't know who Maholmes is. Perhaps you're referring to Mahomes. Regardless, I think Allen has more pure talent than him so yes, I do imagine how Hill would do here.
  11. The guy is scum but imagine him on the Bills catching passes from Josh? His speed with Allen's arm..that would be historic.
  12. Yikes..I hadn't even thought of that. This is the Bills so anything is possible.
  13. Disheartening, to say the least. My hope is that he either up and quits for his dream job in Carolina that has opened up or failing that, Allen has a chat with Pegula and tells him "it's him or me".
  14. Trying to steal Brad Riter's thunder?
  15. In the small chance his lady friend reads this thread, in the future just put a rickety chair in between the two of you and he'll just jog ten yards around it and won't get near you.
  16. They can. It just gets a lot harder when you also have to beat your own coach and the refs.
  17. Need to change this to the 8 wonders of the world or some other earthly phenomenon with a higher multiple.
  18. I had a bit of a different approach to overtime. The loser of the coin toss picks a yard line. The winner then chooses to take the ball from that point or have the other team start from the corresponding yard line on their end of the field. No kick-off. No ties. First score wins. The equilibrium point would be different for different teams based on which side of the ball they felt stronger about.
  19. Josh is better than Mahomes. I'm sure I'll get called a homer for that but you give Allen one year of Andy Reid designing plays for him with receivers running wide open on every play, he'd break every QB record in the books. It really can't be overstated how much of a coaching disadvantage Josh Allen has had in his career. Daboll and Dorsey aren't exactly offensive geniuses. And more importantly, he's had to deal with his idiot head coach constantly crapping all over himself at the ends of close games.
  20. Not sure I agree with this. They were covering up the short passes just fine up until late in the game. Orlovsky makes a valid point here. The biggest adjustment Philly made in the second half was getting those stretch runs working. That opened up the deeper shots to Smith.
  21. If I had to guess, I think that catch and run by tyreek hill in the 13 seconds game (right before the final Davis TD) has given McDoormat PTSD. Ever since then he is so terrified of giving up a long TD that he concedes yards at the ends of close games to the point where he's willing to give up a field goal attempt and take his chances. Granted, yesterday's kick was borderline miraculous, but it still shouldn't have gotten to that point.
  22. It's this guy:
  23. I see your point. And it does make sense to a certain extent. But a 48 yard field goal attempt for Bass..you have to think that's almost automatic even with the rain. The result of the play was a backbreaker but not the decision, imo.
