- Singletary is better than Cook - Allen also has at least three super bowls if not more with Andy Reid designing plays for him - Dick Jauron was actually a decent coach when you look at what he was given to work with here - Tre White was never really all that great and his injury actually helped the team by forcing them to upgrade by trading for Douglas - Chris Brown is a significant downgrade from John Murphy and makes the radio broadcast almost unlistenable - Tyler Dunne's article was pretty much spot on and he should be commended for not filtering out things that would make the team uncomfortable - The Bills defense was not all that banged up against KC. That was just another excuse to deflect from how bad McDermott got out coached by Reid in a big game yet again. This one is not unpopular but contentious nonetheless. The Bills have a bottom tier head coach. Everyone keeps talking about how he changed things in Buffalo like the team was some bottom feeder when they had a couple of 9 win seasons just before he got here. They lucked into a playoff spot his first year and then hit the lottery on an absolute freakshow of a QB who is the only reason this guy isn't coaching DBs in Carolina right now.

Because God hates the Bills, the outcome of this game will be the most painful to us. My guess? SF makes the game-winning FG with no time left on the clock, but there's a flag on the play because Feliciano was the 12th man on the field. SF then moves back 5 yards and misses the follow up kick wide right.

Allen, the Super Bowl "window," and the KC hurdle

Can't tell if this is sarcasm. All the defensive starters were out? -

The difference between Manning and Allen is that Allen has been excellent in the playoffs, including against the Chiefs. Manning was often shut down by Belichick's defense and earned his share of the blame for losing those games. That's what makes this all so maddening. Allen has no margin for error because he has next to no help in big games. Not to mention the clapping goof on the sidelines crapping his pants when the pressure turns up.- 63 replies

Love the guy. But he's either really good at hiding it or he doesn't take losses as bad as some of the greats. Either that or he knows it's a lost cause with McDermott running the show.

What are your feelings on James Cook RB1
QB Bills replied to BillMafia716ix's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's not a heady player. Not devoid of talent but he's the kind of guy that will always have you worried that a terrible mistake is just around the corner and will lose you the game. He would have fit in well with the drought era Bills among guys like McKelvin and Spiller. -
Hey did anyone notice how his last name almost sounds like penis?

Another thorough search and crazily enough the right guy for the job was already on the staff! Again!

Thank jeebus. He obviously wants to work with Josh Allen. That's our 2025 coach right there after mcdoormat blows another playoff game next season. 🤞

Gunner's 2024 Mock Draft - FINAL v3.0 NOW LIVE (p.13)

What would the Bills have to give up to be able to draft Harrison Jr? Would have to be similar to what the Falcons did for Julio right? If not more? -

For someone who watches zero college football, I appreciate this content. One lingering thought after going through the post though...Kool-Aid?!? -
Harbaugh doesn't have Josh Allen, genius.

Did Brandon Beane ask AJ Klein to cover Kelce last week when there were better options on the bench? Did Brandon Beane run up and down the sidelines calling defensive timeouts in those fateful 13 seconds only to make the same boneheaded mistake twice? Did Brandon Beane continue to settle for field goals in the playoff game the year prior? Not saying Beane doesn't deserve some blame here, but you also have to consider that McDermott likely has a huge say on who gets drafted/signed to this roster. The buck stops with the clapping idiot on the sidelines. A competent coach these last few years and the Bills probably have super bowl or two by now.

Josh Allen is the lipstick on this pig of a franchise. Make no mistake about it, this organization is still the same clown show it was during the drought years. It just has an otherworldly talent at QB to mask it.

Can we ask if they want McDermott too?
-
He didn't get the chance to choke away that game as Lamar didn't play in the 4th quarter. McDermott sucks. It's plain as day to most fans. Unfortunately the one person who can do something about it doesn't know any better.

The Buffalo Bills will leave no stone unturned to find the best people to coach this team, not just the OC. You forget that they have an analytics team behind this that was spawned by the great Russ Brandon. It will be a robust search, don't you worry. (fast forward two weeks)...from the Bills twitter account: We are proud to remove the "interim" from our new OC! He's not your average Joe!

Josh Allen the turnover machine
QB Bills replied to D. L. Hot-Flamethrower's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel about as bad as one can feel for a guy making 45 million dollars a year. Josh has to be just about perfect for his team to have a chance against a good opponent in the playoffs because his coach and his defense will inevitably choke and even then it's not enough. He has zero margin for error whereas guys like Mahomes can miss wide open TDs like he did early Sunday and not have to worry because the rest of his team will pick up the slack. Allen is the best QB in the league and if he had any kind of competence patrolling the sideline, he'd have a super bowl or two by now.- 52 replies

Mahomes did that? Is that documented anywhere? Not saying you're wrong but I couldn't find anything. That's straight trash if he did that.

Have any of you been in this situation before??(vague title)
QB Bills replied to BillsBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
You only have one option. Put him up for adoption ASAP -
The Bills are an unprepared and sloppy team. That was none more evident than on that play yesterday and it's been apparent throughout McDermott's tenure here. He's in over his bald head and if not for Allen, he'd be coaching DBs in Carolina right now.
