  1. I think you've got to be on something good to think Fitzpatrick is a guy you can consider for your franchise qb. Yes, I know everyone loves that he doesn't slide when he scrambles and he can throw the odd block, but come on. His accuracy is wildly inconsistent and he will lose games for you. That is all that really needs to be said. As usual, you need to watch the games and form a subjective opinion. Stats don't tell the story. Statistically 9 out of 10 people enjoy a prison gang-rape, but that doesn't make it right. :D :D :D :D
  2. Yes, a lot of people do. In the other thread. That has been open for a while. That you didn't bother to look at first because you were probably too busy peering out your window for democrats.
  3. or he could actually be hurt in any case, hallelujah!
  4. Good on Torbor. He still seems to have some fire left in him...which will no doubt die out soon enough in the black hole that is One Bills Drive. Also, can anyone else picture Maybin coming in at the end of the meeting listening to his ipod, being surprised at the gathering and saying "oh snap, was that meeting today??"
  5. Now that is a 10/10 on the comedic haterade scale. Kudos to you.
  6. Thank you Alpha. Also add the silly refrain about him not being a good route runner. I'd like to see some proof of that. The guy has incredible natural ability. The biggest waste of talent in the NFL though.
  7. Fault the Bills for a lot of moves they've made, but dropping this guy?? Who cares? He was dead weight (much like some other guys, I know). The only thing I remember about him was his answer to what he's looking forward to most after he got drafted: "Getting paid". What a loser. I'm basing this on nothing else other than that quote, but maybe he just wasn't a good locker room guy and that's why all the other stiffs survived this latest cut and he got shipped out.
  8. FU to all those who say: 1. Its just a game 2. Get another hobby 3. Find something else to do on sundays Anyone who can claim/do any of the above is not a real fan. I'm with you OP. I hate this team almost as much as I love them. Being a (real) Bills fan is the definition of ambivalence.
  9. can you still watch it on those internet streams?
  10. For a 22 yard loss, no less. Ironically however, whenever I see Maybin play, I usually say "ah you useless bastard"
  11. Steve Atwater? He's not even Steve Urkel. No way that guy gets a 4th round pick. He's almost as useless as Kelsay.
  12. Here's a deal. We'll do the math if you do the grammar. If you look at where guys were drafted, then ya, I guess Fred Jackson is the third on the totem pole. But, if you are just crazy enough to watch the games and see who the better player is, Freddie is the best player of the three, and I'd say it's not even a close race right now. The guy continually gets shafted by dumbass coaches who look at everything but production on the field. You don't look at a RB's age to determine the 'washed-up' level he's at, you look at career touches. In that regard, he's a young 30.
  13. I might be understating this a bit, but Kelsay is probably the worst athlete in the history of professional sports. The guy looked like he was playing hungover.
  14. This is quite possibly the most idiotic move the front office has made in the 20+ years I've been watching this team, and there have been many. It's just unbelievable that they keep outdoing themselves. Are they purposely trying to alienate the fanbase? What's next? Ralph using that t-shirt cannon to launch his dirty depends diapers into the stands this Sunday? The Bills really are the laughing stock of the NFL.
  15. This would be a good exercise, but another thing that is vital here is how many guys are rushing the passer. From what I've seen so far (and for many years now actually) is that teams can rush just 3 or 4 guys and rush our QB. That means that there are either 7 or 8 guys covering receiving options. Two of those guys will be on Evans, and the rest of the defenders will not give up anything medium range, and there is rarely time to throw deep. Therefore, you get sacks (Losman, Bledsoe), incompletions (Fitzpatrick, Holcomb) or checkdowns (Trent).
  16. Wanna know why? Because of this: http://imgsrv.wgr550.com/image/DbGraphic/201009/1654245.jpg?1285015596 He'll be able to run backwards really fast due to his off-season torso surgery and give the receivers some time to get open.
  17. Yes! Only 52 more to go...
  18. Much like Finkle and Einhorn, Chris Kelsay IS Ralph Wilson. There's no other excuse for a guy who plays like a 90 year old man to be on the field.
  19. this o-line is atrocious...4 man pass rush and edwards still has no time to throw
  20. how ironic is it that his twitter moniker is TWHITNER what a jackass
  21. maybe you should read this: http://twitter.com/kawikamitchell i liked mitchell...he seemed like a real leader and not a rambling buffoon like whitner
  22. my rankings for play-by play guys... Football: dick enberg, mike tirico, al michaels (he is easily the sharpest though), gus johnson, ian eagle (ya ya...maybe its cuz he's done so many bills games lately, but he's grown on me) Hockey: bob cole (piss on anyone who hates him), mike emrick, pre-2000 joe bowen (before he became a caricature of himself) the all-time best have to be the soccer announcers during the world cup though... i could go on, but no other sport really matters enough now, does it??
  23. One thing this team could really use is some more a-hole type players. Not the off the field type, but just some mean, ornery bastards. The Bills are too nice.
  24. Two things: 1. Really? Cool.. Who can you compare him to, in regards to who else you've scouted? 2. You joined this morning, and have posted 31 times already? Kudos..
  25. hahaha....post more!
