I don't think he was good at all today. He was getting beat all game long. Luckily it was Henne back there and not someone more competent. Gilmore, on the other hand, had a great game. He seems to be getting better every week.

Ugh. I blew it. My bad. I'm optimistic again.
QB Bills replied to ThurmasThoman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, it will take a miracle, but I share your hope JohnnyGold. This team has enough talent to win out when you look at who's left on the schedule. The only thing that can stop them (and probably will) is coaching. Winning out is the hard part. But the help that is needed isn't inconceivable. I think if you assume one wild card spot goes to the Colts, catching the Steelers and Bengals is entirely possible. -
Why did Mike Mullarkey resign as HC of Buffalo

What about that 27 yard completion to Chandler? That was a bullet that even the announcer said barely changed trajectory. Granted, it's not the 50-60 yard bomb we are all clamoring for, but for the first time this season, I saw him throw a ball with some decent power. Why can't he do that more? That was a beauty of a throw. Its so frustrating knowing he has the arm to do that, yet when he goes to the sidelines, he floats everything.

I miss this guy....I really do

I was expecting a reference to Talley or Bruce. -
Very good point. As angry as we are about Stupor Mario's play so far, imagine how upset the guy who's paying him must be. (cue the tasteless ageist jokes)

Aaron Williams the worst cb in the league per PFF?

Ya, who can forget the time he And the time he And what about the time he -
I guess I'm the small minority here, but I think FJ should still be the starter and get the bulk of the carries. Seeing what FJ did last year before he got hurt...I haven't seen a guy blend talent and desire like that in a Bills uniform in a very long time. I think once he gets back to being healthy, he'll get back to that level. I love what CJ brings to the table but I just don't think he can keep up this pace. He will get stopped for losses on runs where FJ will grind out 3 yards. Give me a guy who will get the tough yards in 3, 4, 5, 6 yard chunks over a guy who will have 1, 2 yard runs with the odd 20 yarder thrown in there. And even though FJ has fumbled twice recently, I don't necessarily trust the way CJ carries the ball. Maybe its because he's smaller, but I'm always worried he might fumble. Will sound crazy to the "what games are you watching?" crowd, but I think CJ should be the change of pace back, not Freddie.

Fitz numbers from Sunday per PFF
QB Bills replied to cmjoyce113's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There's only one logical conclusion: He hurt his hand signing that extension last year and hasn't been the same since. -
Was it just me or did it seem like there was an inordinate number of Bills fans at the stadium on Sunday? The crowd noise wasn't exactly a 50/50 split, but at times it felt like the Bills were the home team. Excellent job to those who attended. I really feel there are more Bills fans out there than people realize. There has to be more people like me (kids who grew up watching the great teams of the early 90s who are now in their football-watching prime) out there all over North America. If they ever got good again, we might see more old fans come out of the woodwork.

QB Bills replied to DUFF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe they should try him at QB next. -
With No FLo What's Mcgee Brought To The Show ??
QB Bills replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I still maintain that McGee was the best corner on the team last year. His game against the Giants was excellent. He seems to have lost a step this year though. His coverage isn't as tight as it used to be. Florence sucks. -
Choice calls out team after SF loss
QB Bills replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Substitute Choice for Reggie Torbor, and we have the exact same thread from a couple of years ago. Fact is, one fringe player calling out his teammates isn't going to do anything. The problem is, there is a severe lack of talent at two key areas of this team (QB and defensive coaching) and its impossible to call out either one without seeming like a douche. -
They did invite him, but his car ran out of gas and stopped a few houses short of where they were.

I'm not sure that's how this works. I'm not a big gambler, but I think odds are based on what side people are betting on, not what Vegas thinks is going to happen. They make their money on the juice, so the idea is that they want to have an equal amount of money at risk for both sides. That's why lines are always moving.

Interesting Breakdown of Super Mario
QB Bills replied to Kipers Hair's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lots of homers on this thread. Most of the double-teams this season have been on Kyle and Dareus, yet they've both been way more productive than Mario. The reason why the defense has improved is because this is the first time those two are playing together while being healthy. The one hundred million dollar man has been the 4th best player on the D-line so far. Having said that, that's only the synopsis after three games, and not an indication of what's to come. He is learning a new defense, coming off injury and he's got way too much talent for his play to continue to be this underwhelming (at least I hope). But saying his play so far has been anything but disappointing is just not being truthful. -
Scalped Tickets - Online or at the Stadium?
QB Bills replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
thanks for the replies everyone...much appreciated i've always wanted to sit front row at least once in my life, but this might not be the game to do it - for financial reasons mainly might check out the club seats as the good seats on those scalper sites are about the same price, if not more expensive -
Hello, just wanted to know if anyone can help me. I'm thinking of going to the game this weekend, but as you all know, it is sold out. Ideally I'd like to have good seats but the prices on stubhub and ticketexchange are really expensive. Can anyone answer the following? 1. Is it better to just go to the stadium the day of the game and take my chances? or should i just buy the tickets online through those mediums or something like craigslist? 2. where is the best place to sit? i'm assuming that your view is restricted if you're too close to the benches..

As have I. And yes, I am also bragging and consider myself the original Justin Rogers fan. But McGee was the best CB on the team last year, IMHO. He's lost a step this year though. Rogers reminds me of Jabari Greer.
