  1. This is the one and only way of showing the inner circle how you feel. I know you don't want to do it. Some on this forum have bragged about cancelling most of their seats. Some have said they have upgraded to such good seats that they won't cancel them. Some have even invited others to cancel so they can get their seats from them. That's what the inner circle wants. They have hedged their bets that most of the fans will calm down and not cancel their seats. Wilson laughed off questions about major seat cancellations by saying every team will lose season tickets sales due to the "economy." (Funny how he laughs at such serious issues as his own fans being pissed and the state of the economy, yet he gets upset for being called doddering.) Sorry Bills Nation, if you believe that this is the very lowest state of the Bills history, then you have to suck it up and cancel your season tickets, and let the chips fall where they may. Protests, bill board signs, picketing, e-mails, and the very best angry or funny or sarcastic posts on this forum won't even get their attention. Season tickets sales dropping from over 50,000 to around 20,000 in the next 30 days..............now that will get their attention.
  2. Wow, you really think a lot of Peters. If you are convinced that this team will rise, then when do you think they will get around to paying Peters like he is better then Wolford and Armstrong, instead of like he's worse then Walker and Dockery? And why can't I blame the head coach for Duke Preston acting like an idiot? I thought Duke loved playing for Dick? In fact they probably love eachother, since Dick says they work so hard during the week. So who gets the blame for Preston costing the Bills points? Anybody? Nah, Ralph loves everybody, Dick loves everybody, it's a damn love fest all around.
  3. Then where did that quote from Steve on your post #2 come from? I can't find it anywhere else written by Steve in this thread. Where did Steve write that? I am so confused.
  4. buffaloboyinATL, are you....answering your own posts as Steve from Atlanta, and then answering yourself back again as buffaloboyinATL?? Did you just call.....yourself a douchebag??? I have seen some strange people out here on these forums, but you take the cake, my friend. Let me try to get this. You are Steve and you were pissed that they pulled your "Picket With Us" post so you created buffaloboy...or something??? Well, good luck, whoever the hell you are.
  5. Pretty typical - another out of towner who comes on this forum and acts like he's the "best most loyal Buffalo Bills fan" on earth. Yet these posters have to advertise that they don't live in Western New York anymore, right in their usernames or somewhere on their avatars. I agree, if you are done suffering as a fan of this organization, please enjoy your life in North Carolina since 1995 doing other things.
  6. Outstanding. Of course those lazy under-achievers love Dick so much. He doesn't make them accountable for their poor play. He starts the excuses up at the podium mintues after each loss, and the players just sing that tune right along with him. Funny how the "young genius" from the Jets had the same type of personality Dick had, and when his players tanked on him going from 8-3-0 to out of the playoffs themselves, Mangini was fired. And Mangini took the Jets to the playoffs in one of his three seasons. It's hard to believe Dick has a thread like this started for him. I'm not really a "hater", but all those good points Jauron allegedly has had better get the Bills into the playoffs next season, or there really will be zero ticket season holders going into the 2010 season.
  7. He's lucky James Hardy got injured, the vote would have been too close to call.
  8. Oh come on now. Why is your group holding onto those 2 seats? Who looked down when you "looked them in the eyes" and weakened? If you really want all of this "boycott the Bills crap" to work, everybody has to cancel their season tickets. That's right, fans, forget your picket signs and cancel your seats. I'm sure if Russ Brandon reports to his boss that season tickets have decreased from 52,000 to 0, Wilson would notice.....wouldn't he?
  9. So you've already left Western New York. Why is that? Could it be for monetary reasons? A better job offer perhaps? Better weather? More to do? You are a poor example of the typical loyal BUFFALO and Western New York fan, but I do share your frustration. I agree it is time to make a statement and cancel tickets. Especially if all the coaches are retained. But if this idea is to work, those tickets need to be cancelled NOW. Have the stones to cancel before free agency starts, and before the draft. The only way Wilson will get affected is if he loses the money he saved not eating DJ's salary extension by immediate substantial season ticket cancellations.
  10. Why keep your other 6 tickets if you are so pissed off?? Dump them all.
  11. Why are you still here, Endzone? I thought you would be posting on the Battered Womens Shelter blog by now. I trust you will be volunteering your time to help out at the shelter every Sunday during football season, since you broke up with your ex-boyfriend Ralph Wilson after all these years of him battering and abusing your manhood. While the rest of us Bills fans deal with Wilsons' stupidity like real NFL football fans, bitching about it until draft day, we will miss your posts. Good luck with your new life without Bills football.
  12. Outstanding post! Right up to the hiring of Dick, Ralph's always had a "GM" in place. It was Marv Levy who hired Jauron. Donahoe hired Williams and Mularkey. Butler hired Wade Phillips after Marv stepped down as coach in 1997. Polian hired Levy in 1986. Now, your definition of "well qualified" GM really strikes home. After Polian quit / got fired, and then John Butler quit / got fired, taking AJ Smith with him to San Diego, Ralph has not had a well qualified GM, although we all thought Tom Donahoe would do a better job then he did. By the way, is anyone else as amazed as I am that Donahoe's name has surfaced as a possible GM for Detroit and Cleveland?? I am afraid that Wilson likes his little "inner circle" of minions. Russ Brandon & Jeff Littman aren't going anywhere. Littman has been with Ralph for what, 30 years? And Brandon has been nothing short of a miracle man marketing the small market Bills into the 21st century. So the real intrigue comes with Modrak and Guy and Wilson himself. Who the hell knows what Wilson will end up doing by tomorrow???
  13. This is a Buffalo Bills forum. First of all, to continue making battered women analogies is really insulting to women who really live through that nightmare of an existence. Who knows, a few battered women may really enjoy the Buffalo Bills, and to them, the Bills, regardless of how good they play or not, are a welcome distraction at least once a week during football season. Have you ever thought of something like that?? (stupid question, of course you haven't.) Secondly, since you hate the Bills so much, why on earth are you still on this Bills board telling us all to "leave Ralph Wilson behind"??
  14. Sorry, it has to be Bush. DJ is not the worst Bills coach in history, while W. is absolutely the worst president in the history of the United States, and I'm a conservative life-long Republican. Other then his few shining moments right after 911 and a couple of other decent things the man has tried to do, he has stood back and allowed the USA to go down the toilet worse then any time since the Great Depression. I've opened myself up to some political bashing and commentary, but who cares. I just hate the man.
  15. Just unbelievable to me. Is Ralph Wilson, at 90 years old, this insecure?? Instead of just firing Jauron and all of his coaches, he needs to put DJ in the position of having to quit on principle, like he did to Wade Philips?? Or even worse, is he really that cheap, to try to keep his freakin' money he just allegedly paid DJ by using that Wade Phillips trick of making him quit again? Didn't that back fire in him then, and wouldn't it back fire on him again now? I thought Phillips got his money anyway?? Because as far as Wilson "wanting to keep Jauron", those are the only two reasons for it. Even Ralph Wilson knows that he can't keep the fans coming to see 7-9-0 boring underachieving teams any longer. So it really is all about him being cheap and insecure.......again! Amazing.
  16. 1st Round: Eugene Monroe, OT I would personally rather the Bills reach for Unger or Mack at center, but they really are just too far down in the rankings for my wish to be realistic come draft day. So I'm choosing the best OL that should be there at number 11. Why? Because Jason Peters is not as good as he and his fellow NFL voters think he is, and Langston Walker is a fat joke, although he is well spoken and didn't play too horribly. I know DE is a weakness, but a great OL will control the game and keep any defense off the field long enough to always have a chance to win. Monroe would challange for a starting job day one, and at the very least add that depth that the Bills need at every position until he eventually replaces Walker and his 5 Million dollars a year waste of money later in his rookie season. 2nd Round: Max Unger or Alex Mack, Center Now most of you think I'm crazy, for ignoring the DE for another OL. I cannot emphasize more how I believe a better OL would have made the difference between 7-9-0 and 10-6-0, all by itself this year. Even with Kelsy and Denny never sniffing a sack. Just my personal opinion. But if those big fat stiffs would have controlled the running game as well as their size and alleged talent mandated they should have, as I said above, with Lynch and Jackson our offense would have kept the defense off the field longer and I believe would have been the difference in winning at least 3 more games then they did. 3rd Round; Matt Shaughnessy, DE It would be awesome if Everette Brown would still be on the board here, but I'm sure he won't be, so Shaughnessy would be the best DE that should still be on the board.
  17. Trent Edwards says while he's cleaning out his locker; "You look at the most successful teams in the league year in and year out, they have continuity with play-calling, their personnel and the coaches....I think that's the best recipe for success." That's amazing. What the hell does this kid know about success in the NFL?? What about Miami, Atlanta and Baltimore?? All playoff teams, all with new coaches this season. Check out the best team in the AFC, the Titans. Kerry Collins had to come off the bench at quarterback after their starter, Vince Young, suffered injuries and emotional meltdowns. No continuity there as far as the most important position on any football team. Didn't seem to stop the Titans too much. The Vikings lost their QB continuity when Jackson played horrible and they needed to turn to 50 year old Gus Ferrotte. They still made the playoffs, and now Ferotte's continuity is gone with injury and Jackson is back playing better. The Chargers fired their defensive coordinator half way through this season, really screwed up their continuity. All San Diego did was win their last 4 games in a row and won the putrid AFC West at 8-8-0. Still, they blew out the Broncos and are hot at the right time with a home game coming up against the Colts in the playoffs. The 49ers fired Mike Nolan - blew the hell out of their continuity, mid season and the team ended up responding well to new coach Mike Singletary, turning a horrible season into the same record as Trent's stable Bills, 7-9-0. But Edwards is just like the rest of his teammates. "We're almost there. We improved. We just need a couple more peices to our puzzle. We love coach Jauron. We're better then our record." Blow it up again Ralph. Screw Trent's continuity. Get a coach in here that wants to win now, and demands his players to be accountable for winning now!
  18. My sentiments exactly.
  19. I like Bobby April. He shows a lot of passion on the sidelines, and that's a marked improvement in itself.
  20. Why does it automatically mean he won't win football games?? Who the hell was Mike Tomlin before he was given a chance in Pittsburgh? Mike Singletary before his opportunity this year in SF? Oh wait, Singletary was a linebackers coach for a few years, that's right. That's way better then a WR coach for a few years, how stupid of me.
  21. ....like Tony Dungy, perhaps??
  22. Great choice, I'm all in.
