The Bills are more likely to win the SuperBowl with Brett Favre than without him. If we all agree on that, I find it hard to understand why any good Bills fan wouldn't want him here.
Bring him in for a year, then kiss him off and continue with the Edwards project. We get a top-5 NFL quarterback and greatly increased chances of winning the big one, with no harm done to anyone. Its not like we don't have the cap room.
Because you want to tell Trent Edwards "Sorry despite how well you played as a rookie and the apparent commitment we have made to you as a starter all off season, we're going to sit you on the end of the bench while Favre gets one last shot at glory." And then they can procede to overhaul the offensive system for one year so Favre can throw it 45 times a game. You may be able to get a little farther this year with Favre at the helm, but at the cost of stalling the future of your offense.

Good that the Bills are raking in $78 million for this thing... Even better that Toronto is already looking like it would be a joke of an NFL market.

Brunners in Boston. It's not very close to the stadium. About 5-10 minutes down the 219, but still very good.

I just worry about the excessive protein loss.
On the bright side though, it's extra physical activity.

Not a single one of these players appeal to me. I'm not interested in having side shows here every week. And that's what you would get with any of those 3 guys.

I can see the big screen from inside my house and it looked like they still showed the movie even with the rain.
I drove right by on the way home from work last night, they we're showing it. The stadium lights we're on.

Thurman just punched a guy in the face at a friggin water park the other day. He's a scumbag through and through, he had his shot and blew it and only continues to make it worse for himself. I wouldn't want the Bills to come within 50 miles of the guy. He's just a bad apple, decent football player, not too great a human being.

I love it when we chant MVP for him when he makes a good play.
Also, Wendling is the best gunner in the NFL. He covers punts so freaking well it's ridiculous.
I agree Wendling is a very good gunner. Justin Jenkins didn't do too shabby either in the little bit of time he saw last year either.

The NFL does not care about the average joe sitting in the upperdeck. They care about the box seats and the TV revenue. Case in point with the amount of commercial breaks there are during games. Advertising to the folks at home as much as possible while the 70+k in the seats freeze to death, so the league could whore as many products as possible.

I'm not going to panic but I'd better see those things by the end of the week.
Yeah, I was waiting all day for those things to show up, but not only did they not, but neither did any of my other mail. Not panicing, but I'd love to see them very soon.
I get like this whenever when I'm expecting things in the mail. I'm always antsy waiting for my Sabres tickets every year, and now having season tickets for the first time this year, I only have to get like this once instead of the 3 or 4 times I was buying individual games seats.

IGN ran a simulation of the 2008 season based on today's rosters. The Bills finished 6-10, and in last in the AFC East, behind the fins (8-8), jets (10-6) and the pats* (13-3). The cowboys beat the cheaters* in, true to madden form, the hype, errr, i mean, super bowl.
Sure it doesn't mean anything, but madden is always good discussion/flaming fodder around here. Plus, our finish will give the negative ninnies something to cheer about.
Do I get a refund on my season tickets now that I know how it will all end?

Phillips is an awful head coach. He's onnly suceeded using the previous coach's players. Here he had Marv's guys, and in Dallas he had Parcells. And now that Jerry Jones seems intent on bringing in as many wackos as possible, it's only going to make things worse with Wade's easy going demeanor.

That's why we bring a small tv and the rabbit ears and instead of sitting in traffic, we que up the 4:00 games and sit around the tailgate and watch some more football while we wait for traffic to clear out a bit.
