  1. We can't choose what laws to obey. If we could, then I'd kill everybody that looked at me cockeyed.
  2. Is it weird that every time I hear this guy's name I think of Rex Banner from the beer baron episode of The Simpsons?
  3. So TJ Graham and a healthy Marcus Easley aren't added weapons? Besides I can't believe you're actually upset about which UDFA's they did or didn't sign. And just because there are name guys out there, it doesn't mean they'd be any more effective than who we already have.
  4. I've heard of him....
  5. He had to have his liver bone taken out.
  6. I went to Cleveland last summer for an Indians-Twins game and went to Flannery's after the game. It definitely is a cool place. There was also some other restaurant where they make these enormous sandwhiches that we went to after hitting the bars but I can't remember it's name.
  7. Exactly. Nobody should be worried about emulating the Eagles D. Wanny is a relatively highly thought of defensive coach while Philly is employing an offensive line coach in that spot. There's no comparison.
  8. I can't see them keeping fewer than 6 LB's, 7 if you count Scott. Backup LB's are pretty big special teams players and if you keep only 4 or 5 and an injury or two hits then you're screwed.
  9. That's exactly what I was thinking.
  10. They're brothers.
  11. Mario giving RGIII a rude welcome to the NFL in preseason week one. I'm not even going to get greedy, I'll settle for the preseason right now. Anything to get actual football here sooner.
  12. You keep saying that but all the while you're ignoring that both Barnett and Morrison both have quite a bit of experience in the middle and could slide over if need be.
  13. Maybe he has vericose veins and is embarrassed. Too bad Brian Campbell isn't around anymore to refer him to veinsveinsveins.com.
  14. He doesn't really have to prove anything to his doubters. The people who don't like Kelsay are going to continue to not like him no matter what. What matters is what the coaching staff thinks of him and considering that he's been around as long as he has and that he's still running with the first team, they must see something in him. All he has to do is what the coaching staff asks and expects of him not the fans who expect him to be something he's not.
  15. So Kelsay playing reflects poorly on our depth at the position but you want to cut him which would actually kill our depth at the spot? Seriously, we're always complaining about lack of depth on this team but we have a loaded DE spot that we can come after teams in waves with and people want to ruin that depth because of blind hatred of Kelsay. I'm sure Lionel Dotson is a much better option....
  16. Take it for what it's worth considering it was just day one of mini camp but Mario was at LE, taking a few reps at RE, and Kelsay was starting at RE. Anderson worked mostly with the second teamers. So the insanely early look is that Kelsay is the early down guy with Anderson coming in for obvious passing situations. Of course all of this is subject to change 3,000 times between now and September 9.
  17. I also may have seen somewhere that he wears his wedding ring on the field during games.
  18. There are only so many spots on the roster. We can't develop our young guys and sign every veteran free agent out there. Somewhere you have to make the choice do we want to give our young players the opportunity or throw another vet (who at this point may not be better than what we already have) in the mix that will take playing time and stunt growth. I understand the desire for veteran insurance but sometimes you need to let the young guys play, i.e. the Florence cut.
  19. I understand what you're saying and I don't want to argue your point because it makes sense. All I'm saying is that his second to last paragraph says "and we the media are supposed to believe that with this motley crew they will make the playoffs?". Maybe I'm just nitpicking but it seems like he's trying to lend more credence to his opinion than it's worth. None of which changes the fact that he's no more than a giant troll though.
  20. He did refer to himself as "we the media" though. As if any of us would buy for a second that he's a media member.
  21. I'm not sure but I think it involves a compass and a sundial.
  22. If you're only looking at where a player came from in regards to judging their talent then this post is barely worth responding to.
  23. Peters was long gone before this coaching staff came on board, so that doesn't really mean anything. Besides, the Eagles "aggressive" line play has gotten Michael Vick killed the past couple years.
  24. Not this again....
  25. The Bills have said it time after time that this is Fitzpatrick's team.
