I don't see any chance that if a new stadium is ever built, that it is not built in Erie County. Niagara and Genesee counties don't have even remotely close to the population that Erie does. How would either be able to afford all of the county money that the Bills currently get?
What a knob. He's lying out of his rear end too. Why is it that all the other players talk about how great the fans are and Bills and Sabres always talk about how friendly people are when they see them out on the street or at Wegmans or something? He just has an ax to grind because he was a crappy player on some crappy teams. Maybe those teams could have been better if he didn't have stone hands. Whatever, Stevie, Freddie,a nd the rest who love it here can set him straight. Although I doubt anyone gives a crap about Josh Reed. It's just a washed up, never was trying to stay relevant.
By the way, for what it's worth, the announcers from MLB Network who were here covering the AAA All Star Game had nothing but really positive things to say about the city.
That's probably the biggest reason, outside of it just being the return to football, that I'm looking forward to that first preseason game. I can't wait to see our d line making RGIII have to run for his life. Even if it's only for a few series.
I don't know about ticket exchange but I've seen preseason tickets listed on stubhub for $3. So good luck getting a decent return. This year could be different, but there is usually a glut of very cheap tickets on the market for preseason games.
I'm not going to defend Jauron, but Maybin was a DE. A DE that couldn't rush the passer or defend the run. He got tossed around like a rag doll. That's not scheme, that's just a crappy player. It's not tough to make an occasional play when opposing teams think so little of you that they let a TE or RB block you with ZERO help from a lineman. Maybin's one move is to line up 5 yards off tackle and run as fast as he can in a straight line and hope the QB is still there on the way back.
Don't confuse playing well with running around and lucking into a few sacks because teams didn't even bother to block him with lineman and QB's held the ball for an hour and a half. He was still pretty ineffective 90% of the time.
I might have been half asleep but I thought I saw on ESPN last night that the Saints are offering Brees 19.5 mil a year and Bree's wants 20.5. Are these two parties really that stupid and/or stubborn that 1 million a year is that much of a sticking point?
Unfortunately Gronk hit 7 and their* man won. On the plus side is was pretty funny to see how much Gronk got booed when he was introduced at the beginning. Then he was cheered during the whole derby. And then when it was all said and done when he won, everyone remembered that he was a Patriot and booed him again.
Don't disrespect Greenman. Besides he's less of a homoerotic superhero and more of a drunk, illiterate, janitor at a bar. Either way I take it you don't watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia or you would have gotten it.
I don't know why but the first thing I always think of when I hear his name is that he's Mermaidman in Spongebob. There must be something wrong with me.
At that point perhaps you can take old Bills players who had worn the number and explain why they were the most important player on the team for one of the years they were here.
My favorite line illustrating how nuts this guy seems to be is the one about how "if you feel your relationship is blessed by God, then a breakup is a failure to live out God's will". Apparently he never learned that even super religious people don't marry every chick they date.
Interestingly enough, and somewhat unrelated, the Bills coaching to have lineman come out of their stance if a defender jumps is what sealed the Eagles game for us last year.
I've gotten a few times that I look like Paul Gaustad. Just not as tall and without the receding hairline. As far as the avatar, it's Greenman from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for no other reason than I freakin love that show.
To see: Walk the waterfront (canalside, naval park, marina), the Canadian side of the falls, and the Elmwood village at night to hit up Bullfeathers, Coles, Goodbar, etc.
To eat: Illio's, Pearl Street, and Pappas's for 10 cent wings.
