It's a flyer that can end up costing games if he's not ready. And you can't just go back out and pick Lindell back up because some team without a solid kicker will make sure he's not unemployed long. There's a reason why Dave Raynor was the best available last year.

Yeah, winning records suck. I think it goes without saying everyone wants to win every game, but nobody with a brain is going to jump off a bridge and scream for everyone to be fired if we go 10-6.

You can't compare a guy who would probably be a healthy scratch most of the time or special reamer at best to kicker where there is on guy and that's it. Backups at a lot of positions can play their way onto to roster in a few different ways. You trot out your kicker and you damn well better trust him. There's no easing into action at that position, unless it's the scenario I mentioned in the earlier post. And there has been no indication Potter is outplaying Lindell in camp. All the report was is that he made a long one that Lindell barely put wide.

So 9-10 wins, our first winning season in years would be bad. Got it.

Well it means that we're doing the typical Bills fan thing where everybody who is on the team sucks and anyone else is better. Potter has never even kicked on an NFL game before and people want to replace Lindell with him because of 1 kick in training camp. Lindell is a good NFL kicker, cherry picking missed kicks from over the years doesn't make him bad. Every kicker is going to miss some. There are guys who are better than him and there are a lot who are worse. And it's not to say Potter can't eventually replace him someday, but to give him Lindell's job based on nothing but training camp and the preseason seems like a bad idea. Let him be the kickoff guy and try a few kicks in games that are out of hand. But I'm not ready and it doesn't look like Gailey wants to trust a rookie full time.

You're selective memory not allowing you to remember how bad our kicking game was after Lindell got hurt last year? Of course you don't. He should just go join Fitz on the street corner begging for change because they're worthless human beings and according to you, ugly women.

We get it. You hate Fitz. He walked on your lawn so you sprayed him with the hose. I've been in there a few times, it definitely earns that "mud pit" moniker, that's for sure.

How were the 2011 UFA aquisitions bad? Last I checked Barnett was very good for us last year, both he (obviously) and Morrison are starters this year, and Gailey has a full offseason to add new wrinkles for Brad Smith. What about those acquisitions were no good?

Buddy said they wanted to add a vertical playmaker to the receiving corp. So they went after Meacham but couldn't land him. So they drafted TJ Graham. They wanted to add the downfield speed element. It's not really a knock on the guys they have but the recognition they wanted to add another wrinkle to the offense.

I don't think Dickerson is competing directly C Mac. I get the sense he's more competing for the 3rd TE spot.

Actually unless Ralph releases his medical information or signs a release allowing it, then it is a private matter. And if it were released against his wishes, he could probably pursue the matter in court. I'm not a doctor or a lawyer but there is that whole thing about patient confidentiality.

Roscoe Parrish caught 1 pass and got hurt in the 2nd game of the season last year. The lack of him around had nothing to do with the offensive decline that didn't start until Fitz broke his ribs and Jackson and Wood went on IR.

If you were to park in a private lot, the closest and most stadium like would be "the pit" which is right next to lot 1 (i think) off of 20A and runs all the way back to the field house.
