  1. It's almost impossible to cover 5 receivers and blitz the crap out of the QB at the same time. The only way to do it is if 2 corners or the 2 safeties blitz and even then it's only a 5 man rush. I know we're all in panic mode already but try and keep the exaggeration down a little.
  2. I read Greg Bauch's recap's on the WGR website the next day. I have no stomach to actually watch the bachelor and even less to know anything about it, but those recaps he does are hilarious. Reading a play by play of the bachelor from someone who hates it so much is must read material for me.
  3. Can't wait. Got my cooler of beer on ice and I'm ready to spend all day staring out my office window at the stadium, being utterly unproductive, waiting for 5:00 to roll around so I can get over to the game.
  4. Tick....tick.....tick goes the NYJ time bomb.
  5. Can he legislate that whoever owns the two aisle seats next to me stop selling them to opposing teams fans every game?
  6. Sounds like Bob Griffin is getting a little uneasy over there.
  7. Goodell is in the area because he's speaking at the Chautauqua Institute.
  8. With the first glimpse of the new look D and Mario a given; Nigel Badass Bradham, Tank, Easley, and RGIII running for his life would top the list for me.
  9. Because there is any way possible for you to know how long those guys will start for, right? That's some crystal ball you've got there.
  10. This is the kind of thing I don't get. We worry about their lack of depth at a position and then in the same breath want to cut a vet who's had a bunch of very productive years in the league in favor of a late round pick who has barely played in his half season in the NFL. This isn't directed specifically at you, so don't take it the wrong way. It just seems like everytime a young guy shows some promise or we bring somebody else aboard, the mentality is to automatically want to cut somebody. If Moats wins the job, tere is no viable reason to not keep Morrison and his veteran experience around as the 4th LB.
  11. What makes you think that Sheppard would be better as an OLB? He's never been anything but a middle backer.
  12. Not that New England hasn't earned the right to be picked to win again, but the thing that gets me is how the general assumption is that the patsies draft picks will immediately make their god awful defense better. That to me is assuming a lot about a team with a shaky draft record recently and a terrible defense. I might be reading the wrong things but there doesn't seem to be a lot of the "let's see it bear out on the field" first coming from national outlets in regard to their D and more just assuming that because it's Belichick, it will all work out.
  13. Yeah nothing trollish about posting the same things on every thread. Those paint fumes have addled your brain pretty bad.
  14. He's a troll. Don't put any stock into anything he says.
  15. I think Duffer is great. He's a total pro. But the best part about that show is when Andrew Peters is co-hosting on Tuesdays and Thursday's. Peters is awesome.
  16. Granted VY has proven throughout his career to be a head case, but if he's still trying to pick up the offense now, I wonder if they'd feel even less comfortable bringing in a guy to be the backup who wouldn't be signed any sooner than a week before the opener. Best case scenario is obviously we never need the backup; but at this point it might be better off going with one of the guys who have been here all offseason. I doubt Moore gets cut though. If anyone does I'd think it would be Garrard.
  17. 900X better than the dribble Schopp and the Bulldog spew out there.
  18. Modkins is technically the OC. It's Gailey's scheme and he calls the plays but they've been together long enough where Chan can take care of all the HC duties and not worry about his OC doing a lot of the drilling in practice. I wouldn't worry about him spreading himself too thin.
  19. But he needed your help to escape the country. You saved his life from those villains who were after his vast secret fortune and wanted him dead.
  20. Wouldn't playing like it's the 1950's actually put the Bills behind the curve?
  21. Someone really needs to jam a foot in Fatty's mouth. Of course he'd enjoy every second of it but at least that blubbering moron would shut up.
  22. He was always a good special teamer as well.
  23. Doesn't mean he can't be a tough runner between the tackles and have good vision. The guy is training camp fodder, but speed isn't everything.
  24. I can't remember the last time I was this excited for a preseason game. I don't even care that the starters might see 15 snaps if we're lucky. I'm just disappointed I can't tailgate. Luckily my office is like a block away from the stadium so the second the clock hits 5, I'm bolting out the door and sprinting over there. At least I won't have to pay to park. Preseason or not, I'm just ready for football. Disjointed rambling over.
