I was a Poz fan when he was here. And when he was here, we complained constantly about how he just wasn't good enough. So now that he's not here, and is on one of the worst teams in the league, he's magically become great and would be the missing piece to being elite? Just more proof of the "anybody is better than our own guys" mentality we have around here. Never mind the guy in question was ours at one point and we deemed him not good enough then.

I rarely hear any sports team talk at work, water cooler or otherwise, and that includes this week.
I think you may grossly overestimate the impact of NFL teams on the general population.
You cannot judge the general population by what you see here
It's the exact opposite for me at work. I'd say the majority of non work related conversations that I have at the office are sports related. It could just be that I'm just not that interesting though.

The secret to life is to not stop breathing. That's about as deep as I can get.

All I think of when I hear the name and song is the episode of the Simpsons when Bart rents the car on spring break and drives down to Knoxville
Nelson sees that andy williams is performing and demands they go where they show him in the seat excited with tears in his eyes, then at the end he says "I didn't think he was going to do Moon River, then BAM! Second Encore!"
Ahhhh, back when the show was watchable................
"Andy Williams?!?!"
"Eh, we don't need to see that"
"YES WE DO!"

Conehead has about 6" and 30 lbs on Roscoe.
And the Earl of Bud's moves blow Roscoe's out of the water.

By that logic, Paul Maguire should have been up there years ago.
Paul McGuire does have a whole club section at the stadium named after him doesn't he?
-
doubt they would suspend him for the week NOW, unless all they are going to do is suspend him for the gameday, but a suspension SHOULD be for the full week (including gameplanning) and its too late for that...prolly just be about 50,000 slap on the wrist
Then the league will destroy all video evidence of Belichick grabbing the official and pretend like it never happened.
-
Let's see Belichick try and have Powell jacked up like he had done to Moorman. It's not going to end well for whatever DB tries it.
-
JP Bullfeathers on Elmwood is always a good time.
-
Freddy seems less than thrilled, per Twitter "WTF??? Released Mooreman??? For What??"
He apparently doesn't know his teammate well enough to spell his name right though.

And for the record, it was thanks to yours truly explaining keyboard shortcuts to people who said they were busting their mouses clicking their browser's refresh button.
F5 also saves the finger strain of hitting Ctrl-R.
Also, how big of a dumbass does it make me that the first time I tried to type this, I hit the F5 key expecting it to show up in the text box.

Why can't we wear a completely different uni every week like the Seahawks.
The Oregon Ducks of the NFL?

Oh my God! What are they replacement announcers? How dare they slam Buffalo like that. We are done. We need everyone to know Gronk is from WNY to validate us?
It's not really that important, but it's pretty crappy journalism to not even get a guy's hometown right if you're going to put it up in big font on the screen. It's literally a 3 second fact check to make sure you don't look like idiots on national tv.

i would like to see him get a couple touches per game just as a courtesy for all the work he puts in, and as entertainment value for the fans. watching the big guy run with the ball and initiate contact is a wonderful thing. i'd love to see him get some goal line carries with lee smith in as fullback.
Corey McIntyre: fantasy sleeper and touchdown vulture extraordinaire

Don't understand this incredible hate. Blame Modrak, not an 18 year old kid. Get over it.
Yeah, he was more than a few years past 18 when he was drafted.
-
Rodney Harrison was in charge of that graphic. He felt that if people knew Gronk was from Buffalo, he'd start to suck and fall off the face of the earth.
-
He played good in 2 of those, they didnt play the Ravens last yr....Only one of those 2 teams had a winning record...In fact out of all the wins they had last yr only one was against a team that had a winning record..The Pats.....So yes way.....
I think he meant Raiders, and Fitz absolutely played very well in that game as well.
-
Were they wrong? 5-11
We were 3-0 after that game and everyone was still healthy. So yeah, at the time they were wrong.
-
Fitz bought himself a couple more starts. Our 2 wins are against teams a combined 1-5, and should be 0-6-We havent betaen anyone yet. It is on Fitz now without Freddie and CJ...If he can get 2 wins in next 4 games-which will be tough, he will probably finish the season, but I wouldnt be shocked to see him fall apart...lose then next 4, and see Tavaris Jackson in there for second half of season either.
He didn't buy himself anything. He was never in any danger of being benched in the first place. Bought himself a couple more starts, give me a break.

I am concerned that Gilmore is still going through a learning curve. And McGee has a bad habit of playing too far off receivers.
But Gronkowski and Winslow may prove to be the biggest headaches of all next week. I think the Patriots' passing game is gonna go right after the Bills' linebakers to test their coverage abilities.
You're concerned that Gilmore, who is three games into his NFL career, is going through a learning curve? What exactly were you expecting?

Why are teams constantly giving Welker 10 yards of cushion?
-
Does anyone else really want to see Julian Edelman get punched in the mouth?
I would. I absoluetly can't stand that guy. Everything about him is douchey.
-
Oh, yeah. Like they will really show up. Those candyarses are too busy making Fitz sucks threads. They're the ones out there saying oh we need to fix XYZ without a viable solution.
Any Brohm supporters here, while we are at it?
How about the Craig Nall crowd?
