Unlike some of my fellow posters, I WILL reply to this post; A decent safety covering Reed??? Are you for real??? Safeties are safeties for a reason, they don't man up on a 3rd receiver. And if they HAVE to, even better. Do you watch Football?? A 3rd DB would be rushed in (if they somehow were unaware of our personnel on the field) to cover Reed. Not sure if you know this, but DB's are on a depth chart basis as well, and it's usually due to skill. So...... having a #3 back covering you instead of a #2 back covering you usually means...... yep....... you got it now........ yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not trying to be mean here, but seriously, a safety on Reed?? That would be the best thing that ever happened to him...

You're comparing stats of a number 1 WR to a number 3 WR, well done. The earlier comparisons were of character, toughness, and ability to catch a football. Also, Reed has been unable to play his true role in quite some time. Being able to play a TRUE #3 will benefit him and the rest of the team A LOT..... I agree that we have some untapped potential talent behind Reed, but for now, you go with what has worked. Reed has done NOTHING to deserve being released or replaced on the depth chart. I understand the desire or "wonder" to look at other guys, but it's nothing more than that, being curious about others who may perform well. It's a good problem to have, as others have mentioned, but Reed is the best player on this team when speaking of our #3 WR spot.

His point wasn't that the greatest team in NFL history signed him, it was the terms of the deal he got, coming from where he came from the year before. Uh, the rental property was NOT in Buffalo. That's like saying he was denied a rental property in a quiet residential neighborhood OUTSIDE of Dallas and is now realizing he's not in the big city of Philly anymore. I highly doubt if he were to inquire about a rental property in, say, the East side of Buffalo (I know, I know) he would be denied for fear of "drama". Same could be said for any big city, and in turn, same could be said for any quiet residential nieghborhood. Got it! For the record, I think you and I probably feel the same way about him, I'm just at a point now where I'd rather just move on with the team. Seemed like a good guy, and I'm sure he tried real hard, it just didn't work out (for whatever reason). I don't wish any bad will on him and hope he is successful at whatever comes next. I don't know who you're talking to, but your points are invalid. We're discussing Losman as a Football player, not whether we like him as a person or not. If you're talking about my post, it was in regards to the assumption that the Bills would bring him back if TE got hurt, so if you agree with that idea, then you, too, can join the Losman fan club.... For the record, I own his jersey and hoped just as much as everyone else that he'd be our guy. It didn't work out, not even a little bit. We can play the blame game all day long, but the bottom line is that the team has sinced moved on. If you can't, then perhaps you can follow him to his next team and route for him there. Maybe your ideas of him being SO smart that he'll win a Superbowl elsewhere will come true, then you can come back here and tell the rest of us how stupid we were. I'll be waiting, but you can rest assured I won't be holding my breath ....
