  1. Who exactly are you talking about? Keep in mind, I'll only NOT laugh if you can list someone with any NFL credit/merit whatsoever. And no, Mel Kiper does not count..... I haven't seen anyone "bash" Buffalo for not drafting a LT, but it's a valid point, a conversational piece. We had a need at 2 spots, they chose which spot to fill, some view it as the wrong decision. I don't see the problem....
  2. Will you PLEASE go eat some crayonz.....
  3. Agreed. E-thuggin' isn't cool, contrary to what some may have heard......
  4. Ya, but 50% of the time, it works everytime....
  5. Sounds like you're volunteering. Stop talking about it and do something about it.....
  6. He's played safety before, so you're wrong to restrict him to just a DB. IF you remember our season last year, DB was "hurtin for certain", so ya, DB is an important pos. Donte was pulled this way and that all season long, giving him no chance to play his natural position. Being able to fill our roster with quality back ups at these positions gives our D a better chance at succession, whether you like it or not. And WTF does DJ's looks have to do with anything?? I'd expect that out of my 4 yr. old. That little statement right there discredits anything else you posted. You sound like an immature jerk when you resort to pointing out someone's physical stature/appearance....
  7. Agree, although I do believe there are different levels of said Leaders. some of it comes with familiarity, some comes with experience. Also, there are different ways to be a leader, such as vocal and non-vocal. My point was that, for whatever reason, the Cowboys brass wasn't impressed with Romo's progression as a leader. To me, that meant he wasn't at the "level" they wanted him to be, and felt it best to remove Owens from the equation in order for Romo to have more breathing room. I don't agree with this tactic at all, and fall back to what you said; you either got it, or don't. I don't think Romo has it.
  8. Agreed. I don't see the problem. Team wanted QB to be a leader, but he couldn't wing it. T.O. gets cut, then told he may have been part of the reason QB wasn't stepping up to be leader. If Trent can overcome his strong presence in the locker room, he'll be fine. Say what you want about Romo, but he never struck me as a very bright guy. I see more leadership qualities out of Trent than I do Romo (with the limited amount I actually get to see). The key for Trent is to treat T.O. like a WR, not a friend. Don't be afraid to speak your mind, be a true leader. T.O. would probably respect a guy more for taking control of the team. Just my 2 cents....
  9. I don't think so. I sent you a link to a website with their info. and some other cool stuff. Let me know if it helps!!
  10. They're located directly across the street from the Daytona Beach Convention Center (not sure what it's really called). They have a cross walk that goes over A1A from the parking garage. When you get off of the cross walk, you exit into this 3 or 4 story shopping plaza on the strip. Santora's is one of the restaraunts in there. I got a Sausage Sub and my wife ordered their Chicken Parm. Sub. Both were great, tasted just like the Santora's back home. Also tried a slice, and while Santora's wasn't my favorite pizza place, it tasted exactly the same (too much sauce if you ask me). Either way, it's cool to have a local place from back home (I lived right down the street from Santora's growing up).
  11. The owner (Mr. Domino) ended up getting cancer. I believe his brother was Danny, but I could be wrong. They stayed pretty busy, also got a very good "Buffalo" crowd during Bills games and some Sabres games. I became friends with his daughter for a while, but fell out of touch after they closed. I never did hear if he beat it and/or how he was doing.
  12. Your spelling is horrible..... and E-thugs FTL...
  13. There used to be a place called Buffalo Pizza and Wings in Deltona, Fl. that was owned by a brother of the owner of Just Pizza. Their last names were Domino, I believe. He had all of his stuff shipped down. Great food, big screen TV, Labatt, the works! It's closed now, though. Also, there's a Santora's in Daytona Beach that has the same menu as the Santora's in Tonawanda, minus the "Phase ll" part. Food's pretty good, tastes almost the same. Other than that, Pizza places around here (centeral Fl.) are pretty mainstream and redundant...
  14. Wow. You're pretty angry dude. You should see someone about that. I wasn't trying to be rude, I was making a legit post about whether or not you were here at that time(referring to us as a board or friends of yours). I even added that you were right in saying most here were pretty miffed about not getting positive air time because of our start. Why do you think you're more knowledgeable about Football than me? And where did you see a post where I spell-checked someone? Oh, and BTW, I don't live in a trailor park, or double wide (whatever that is) and your insults about my wife are also not necessary. If you're not under the age of 18, you should probably STFU about stuff not related to Football, and if you are, then I fully understand your overreaction to my question... EDIT - ok, I just read all of your posts you've contributed to this site. Now I know why you think you're the smartest Bills fan ever, why you hate people who "nit-pick" over spelling, and why you're generally angry. Christ, in 1 post, you called everyone on this site an idiot!! Stay classy, D-bag, I won't be sucked into your desire for attention.
  15. I swear I've never heard that, and I'm an Astros fan, so I watch a lot of their broadcasts on the MLB ticket. I've always heard them refer to their team as the Bucs. Even the crowd chants are "lets go Bucs!" Learn something new everyday! Living in Florida, I come across MANY Sox and Yanks fans. I myself grew up a Yanks fan even while living in Buffalo. Since being in Florida, and now being an Astros fan (don't ask) I can honestly say that my experience has been fairly good with both team's fans. Not that I've met EVERY SINGLE fan of both teams as apparently some here have, but the ones I've met and interacted with have been very knowledgeable of their respective teams as well as MLB as a whole. I've also been to both parks (old Yanks stadium, not the new one) and thought the experience was great for both parks. I even sat next to a Sox fan when I went to Yankee Stadium (they were playing the Sox) back in '88 I believe. I was 9 yrs. old, and the guy bet me and my friend 50 cents each that the Sox would win. Nice guy, but he was a dollar less after the game!
  16. The rats?? that's new to me, I thought there nickname was always the bucs...
  17. Maybe I'm missing something here but you weren't even a member on this board when we were 4-0, so how do you say you can recall that WE all got upset?? Not that you're wrong, because a lot of homers were calling SuperBowl, but still......
  18. Nice job, Columbo, you cracked the case!! BTW, we've sniffed 4... ...and questioning a Bills fan's passion is now the single most retarded thing I've ever heard, ever. People clown us, mock us, talk bad about our team, but I've NEVER had someone say we lack passion for our Football team. Well done, well done...
  19. Most TRUE fans don't base their season ticket purchases on free agent signings. For most, it's a tradition that started when they were kids, and for others, it's the enjoyment of the NFL and the experience itself. Don't kid yourself, Bills fans are loyal to the TEAM, not U.M. and certainly not one year wonders who come and go (logo on the front, not the name on the back kinda thing).
  20. Stop "pic" - ing on me.....
  21. Pics or ban...
  22. Here's what burns my wood stove; Why start such a "premature" thread and then not come back to face the music?? We need tighter rules for thread starting here, I'm afraid. For instance, Title should have "no link" or "just my random opinion" in it without proof. Also, should you start a thread and then "disappear", you should be restricted to posting reply's only.... /rant - And yes, I dig these (")!!
  23. Well, thankfully you won't be taken seriously by anyone on this board with a user name like that.... Also, way to go comparing Losman to a child molestor. You fail at life, and I hope you never re-produce. That is all....
  24. Why? Are you from Toronto or something?? The UFL will get more attention from the NFL than the CFL will this up-coming year, regardless of how well the League ends up. It's already drawing interest, just look at Lori's post about the coaches already on board. BTW, name someone since Flutie who has gone to the CFL and then reinvented themselves in the NFL?? I'll be waiting...
  25. It's his best option right now. I don't know how this whole UFL thing will pan out, but I would think this over the CFL would be better.... don't ask me why, though, because I don't know. I'm actually a little excited to see how the UFL pans out. I think it has potential. I'll go to the games....
