How has a team full of "nice guys" worked our for us the last decade or so? I want some nasty, and not "run over a chick" nasty, but a "ima use your couch for a nap cuz I can" nasty. Honestly, talent really is the only thing that matters on the field, but if they can't play nice off the field and it impedes their playing time then yes, there's a problem. Right now, though, we're dealing with "what if's".

It amazes me how some posters go so one-sided to fit their "agenda". the Falcons D did everything they could to lose that game against the 49ers, but let's blame Matt Ryan.

I enjoyed it. We really do have some likable guys on this team. It's nice to look back at some of the positive things guys did who otherwise get lambasted week to week. I really hope this coaching staff can maximize that locker room's potential.

His production when touching the football was actually pretty damned good. It was the amount of "touches" that was underwhelming. Can't blame him for that. He's not Graham, and he's certainly not Roscoe Parrish. Lumping in all small wr's is silly. This kid's better than that.

I'd tend to agree. OP should have started and leaned heavily on the theory that our new D coach will be able to maximize player potential, not just thrown it in at the end of the post. Pettine will be the key here, for better or worse.

This is where I am as well, though I'm also interested in seeing what Kolb can do with our Offense, good or bad. If I had to pick one guy I'm most excited to see play for us, it'd be Kiko. I am VERY intrigued by this draft pick, maybe even moreso than Manuel, who I wanted even at 8.
