^^^ This. You put the weapons we have on offense in anybody else's lap, the results would shock. hell, I could put up 275 and 3 td's once in 16 games with these guys. The excuses are wearing thin.... and I like Trent.

Some glaring differences in your comparison; Trent practiced with the guys he plays with all week long, Fitz didn't. Trent starts the game and looks this way ALL game long, week in, week out. Fitz, well, let's see what he can do when he gets a full week in at preparation for a team's defense. I'll say this, he wasn't afraid to let his guys make plays, that's for sure.

It seemed to me that Fitz was more comfortable allowing his WR's to make plays. He didn't seem hesistant throwing into "coverage". I don't want to go all "Fitz is better than Trent" here, but I certainly had more of a calm over me with him under center than I did with Trent. He's better in the pocket as well, or getting out of it, whatever....

Turtle was quickly becoming my new favorite character until he sold out to Tom Brady. Now he can burn in hell.....

It doesn't matter who Jim Kelly has as backers. There's also no need to dig, as Ralph has already given his answer, the team will be sold to the highest bidder once he's gone. You may not like that answer, but it is what it is. Stop reaching for fairytale controversy, it's not there.

Ya, except you're not figuring in salaries here. Those guys back then weren't overpaid drama queens, they were playing the game they loved. Times are different now, endorsements, TV time, interviews, etc... these guys actually have a reason NOT to be "that guy"....

I'm sure some of those guys are pissed off. I just don't think they're going to go public with it, yet. Funny how once guys leave here, though, they become quite vocal with how things went while they were here. Honestly, we'd probably see more emotion if the team was competitive. Since they suck so bad, I think they guys are already over it and wondering where they're gonna take their vacations over the summer...

This brings up a good point; they will APPROACH teams after the current season. So the list of teams would be "possible options", meaning why bother approaching the Pats*, but hey, the Bills owner may die soon, let's fish there. 10 pages of arguments for not if you ask me, other than the "Pinto" thing, that seems to be picking up some steam...

So if I told you your entire career, and possibly millions of dollars, depends heavily on whether or not you can keep your mouth shut for 1 season, you would throw it all away because your rental team sucks???? If you want passion and fire, watch soap operas. This is real life, where MOST people know better than to publicly throw teammates under the bus, that and nobody on our team performs as well as MJD enough to point their finger at others....

Please take your common sense and understanding of the game elsewhere, we're trying to F.O. bash in here.....
