He/she didn't say anything about consecutive games played, he said Brees was tough and Edwards was not. If Brees takes that same Wilson shot, the same results would take place. Your example speaks more of the Offensive upgrades Brees has over Trent, which is literally EVERY SINGLE POSITION. For Trent to bounce back after a hit like that and not pack it in shows toughness to me. I'd certainly think twice about taking another snap behind our D-Bag line again after that shot. We're talking about two different things here, which was my "trap". Toughness has nothing to do with the comparison, and is subjective and in this case misused, by the OP and now by you.
-
Why do you feel Brees is "tougher" than Trent? And yes, this question is a trap, I'll be waiting....

Why do you get upset with the fans??? I have no control over what the FO does to prepare for each season. So other than taking a "see what we got" attitude, what else can I as a fan do??? Of course, I could lock myself in my bedroom and punch holes in the walls, kick my dog, and start e-fights with busters online, but how productive is that, really?? Relax, nothing you say or do is going to change our LT situation, and that includes which shade of glasses you choose to sport.

New Iphone can do everything but make phone calls
billsrcursed replied to Fingon's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Nope, you're actually pretty dead on. Things like this always turn into a "fanboy vs. hater" type of thread. Not just here, either. The iphone4 is my first Apple product, and I absolutely love it. It's been perfect since the first time I turned it on, zero issues. I hope those who have had issues can find a solution, though... -
Shouldn't working the middle help our QBs

That's what she said.... * tried to resist but just couldn't * -
No problem. You were right, I shouldn't have just said that stuff without some links. I know better... This boils down to people not understanding an LEO's job description and responsibilities. Most people don't realize that he not only has to look out for his own well being, but for those innocent bystanders as well. There's no telling what weapons either of them may have had, not to mention how "close" some of the girl's friends got to him while he was trying to restrain them. I thought he did a good job of not allowing a damn near riot by speaking to some of them while they were filming him, keeping their interest on him and what he was doing instead of jumping him, taking his gun, and going bananas...

What mistakes????? Do you know anything about police training? FYI... they're trained to jab a person resisting arrest and using physical contact towards the officer to "stun" them. He was using his training. The hand to hand combat was already initiated and he was out-numbered. Some people type just to here the "clackity-clack" of their keyboard, I swear... Research a topic next time, I'd start with GOOGLE.

IBTL They should have banned you when you admitted to hooking up with a 15 year old prostitute.... This should do the trick.

EXTREME LANGUAGE / NSFW http://www.q13fox.com/videobeta/?watchId=8...bf-f663f62ab2e8 this full length version shows the cops position in regards to crowd reaction. He's alone for well over 5 minutes. Also, these two beautiful young women have lengthy criminal records, including assaulting an officer, as well as several other felonies. Also, in regards to the jaywalking thing, this particular area of Downtown Seattle has been a growing concern for jaywalking. It was a focal point of the city's to ensure this law was being upheld. This officer waved a group of people over and began handing out citations, he didn't single these two out. It wasn't like he was strolling through, saw some jaywalkers, and decided to take his bad day out on them.
-
For the record, there is WAY more to this video. You guys aren't seeing the whole thing... there's also more to the "jaywalking" reports.

Lots of opinions on Mr. Troup... Who here has seen him play??? Just sayin...

Looking at this from a father's perspective; If my 17 year old daughter EVER placed her hands on a police officer I would hope he straight punches her in the face... Therefore, I blame the parents.

" I like tuttles" - all growed up.

To clarify, she took a plea deal in which the sexual abuse charge was dropped, and enabled her to accept life w/o parole. I question this move by the DA, but it's California after all... I hope they carve her like a Thanksgiving Turkey in the slammer. She deserves tortureous acts applied to her face....

There may be a misunderstanding here; First, I've played beer pong maybe 10 times my whole life. When we play, it isn't to assist us in drinking, that's just not necessary. It's a game to us. We also play cards, horseshoes, H.O.R.S.E. pool-side, etc. I get the notion that beer-pong being a must at a party to ensure fun is ridiculous, but some of us play to just play. My friends (which are mostly my 3 brothers and 2 cousins) are extremely competitive and we have the most fun when competing against each other, no matter what it is. Oh, we also occasionally speak to each other as well, so conversation is present. Just thought I'd clear that up. Carry on!
-
I'm with you. I actually like playing beer-pong. It's semi-competitive and does not include resorting to some barbaric tactic or "brah" calling. Now if some schmuck decided it would be cool to slip some fruity juice into those cups, I'd slap the ghey out of his mouth, but that's just me....

Car Experts - advice **update**
billsrcursed replied to Richmond_Bills's topic in Off the Wall Archives
You've already gotten excellent advice, but I would just add that joining a car forum would be the next best step to ensuring your knowledge of your own personal vehicle. Just google search "Dodge Caravan forums", browse through some to find one you like, register, and viola, you're on your way to learning everything there is to know about your car! Make sure you run a "search" on questions before starting a new thread, though.... -
Re: Jim Kelly's California QB theory debunked
billsrcursed replied to USABuffaloFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Being labeled as a region is much different than being labeled as a person(s). It's one thing to say, "it snows a lot in Buffalo", and another to say "everyone from Buffalo is _______." BTW, I've never heard anyone outside of NYS call Buffalo residents rednecks. That's usually reserved for "southern" folk. Rude, obnoxious, whiny, maybe a little on the heavy side, ya sure. But never "rednecks". -
Sure....

Impossible; Evans doesn't go through the middle, ever.....
