Do people really think that bounties will affect a player's chance at the HOF?? It's certainly not something a single player can gain any advantage from like steroids. Perhaps I'm confused....

People are missing the point here; It's not about him smoking pot, it's about his lack of motivation to pass a test he knew was coming years in advance. My 13 year old daughter knows they test at the combine. It's a "come on, man!" issue. It shows extreme poor judgement and a complete and utter lack of respect for the NFL. I like Martin as well, and ultimately agree with your opinion on QB value in the NFL. I'd prefer they wait until the latter rounds to draft a QB, just wouldn't be too angry if they felt there was a guy worth it earlier.

Well, he did beat an SEC team in their bowl game, so there's that.... but he threw 3 picks, shhhh, don't tell.

I'm pretty sure this kid won't make it past the second round. If we use our 2nd pick on a need and trade back up into the second to grab this kid, I wouldn't be mad. He's good. (I know, Buddy wouldn't do it).

This can't be stated enough, and has been pointed out by a few others in this thread already. Taking a player with his skill set, and adding him to a D-Line with K. Williams and Dareus, is already leaps and bounds better than the D-Line he was playing on with the Texans. All 3 players, along with our other DE (whomever that ends up being) will benefit greatly by him coming to our team. We as a fan base should be focusing on the WHOLE defensive line's improvement, not just what Mario will be doing by himself. He won't have to do it by himself, he's just another piece that takes pressure off of everyone else around him. You can't double every D-lineman on our team, someone's going to get through on almost every single passing play. Offenses should be put on alert; "Prepare your anus" would be appropriate here.

Wow, never heard that. Thanks for posting. Kind of have to wonder if it was due to him needing the surgery, assuming it was known by the Dolphins. I like what Moore showed last year, although he'll be without Marshall this year. They won't be as easy an out as everyone is making them out to be if they draft smart. But boy do I hope I'm wrong... I hate them about as much as I hate the Pats, and the Dolphin hatred goes back much further...

Love his plan as well as his honesty. Also, it's fun listening to all the Buffalo accents on the whiner line and then following that up with Buddy Nix talking! Night and Day.... love it! He comes across as very genuine and prideful. Something I think our front office has lacked for quite some time. Oh ya, he's kinda Football smart, too.

Pretty sure he ended up having back surgery and couldn't play last year. I doubt he beats out Moore in camp, TBH.
