http://www.rotoworld.com/Content/playerpag...NFL&id=2278
This just showed up on Rotoworld.
Personally, I'll send Kelsay and our 4th to any other team just for a high five. I might even let them kick me in the groin too.
Kelsay for a 4th? That is hilarious! He's not worth a 7th with that contract.

Normally I hate these dead horse posts...but it made me think of buffalo real estate. I wonder if players put into consideration the fact that their house will cost about 4 times as much in another city.
You lose a good chunk of your money on relocating and paying more for your house and cost of living. Just some food for thought.

I personaly would like to see #11 DE and #28 OLB ( Brown and Cushing)..2nd round grab Max Unger who can play C/G..3rd round grab a TE to compliment or push Fine...oh heck, just look at my sig

Haha, second good laugh out of this thread. What game was that when (i believe it was freddy) he was laying down.
Jacksonville?

This draft is gonna be a lot of fun. We pick 11th, 28th, and 43rd. All day will be exciting.
And what's with the John Henderson talk? Did I miss something?

While sacks allowed is not a perfect stat, i find it extremely hard to believe that the margin of error is so great that the stat is completely irrelevant. If anything, i think you could attribute +- 2 or 3 sacks to not knowing the exact blocking scheme employed on that play. Even within that margin of error, Peters was still terrible.
Thank you!!!! These sack numbers are not getting pulled out of thin air. There has to be some truth to them. Many sites and analysts have mentioned this stat before. I think we did pretty good in that trade considering our backup outplayed Peters last year.
Did anybody catch Houshmanzadeh on NFL Network say Peters was one of the best he's played against? When the F#$% did he line up against Peters? These are the guys that vote guys like Peters into the pro bowl.

HAHA thats great...
His kids and Travis Henry's kids could kick it together.
They could probably start their own franchise and field a full team.
-
Even though you maybe able to find quite a bit more than 2 things the team needs, please give them some advice on your 2 strongest points of how they might improve this season to above .500.
I think it's pretty obvious. Offensive Line and Defensive Line.

Only a matter of time. I'm not well versed in law or how the police retaliate. Is this a driect result of him planning to file a law suit?
-
They did...the got a first and the 3rd...And I don't see the hype with Ayers i don't really think there is a solid de in the draft...none of them really impress me
I am not a fan of any of these DE's. This class is extremely overrated.

Jacksonville for Quinn.
What!! a whole team for one player. That seems to be a little much.
-
Maybin. I hope it's not though. I'm hoping for Brown but have have a feeling it's Maybin.
-
Well, jail or the NFL he's still gonna get the chance to play reciever!

My wife is out of town for the weekend so I have time on my hands. Too do my thing. So I sat down and looked at 50 mock drafts. The following is what I found other fans from around the league think we will do in the draft.
Everette Brown 16
Aaron Maybin 13
Robert Ayers 5
Brandon Pettigrew 4
Andre Smith 4
Brian Orkpo 2
Micheal Oher 2
Ray Maualuga 1
Evander Hood 1
Tyler Jaskson 1
Brian Cushing 1
I guess there is not alot of surprises in this info. But I spent the time to look at them I enjoyed it I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.
Thanks for taking the time to put this together. I really hope Everette is there at 11. I like him alot more than any other DE in this draft.

I completely forgot that Cutler and Edwards were the only two players on the field that game. Silly me
-
Good post. I think if we get a second 1st rounder it is definitely possible but I'm not sure if we are in a postion to wait until the second for a DE.
Who are the other TE's that can block and have been productive in the passing game in this year's draft?
-
Is anybody surprised by this? Who would even be in consideration besides Evans?

It was told to me probably 25 years ago by a guy I worked with. He was a Brit with a cockney accent and that last line with his accent is just beautiful. I do have a true Sinatra story:
I was working at Nicky Blair's on the sunset strip. Cool place, lots of celebrities. Sammy Davis Jr was one of the investors so he used to come in quite a bit. So one night Sinatra comes in. Nicky is all excited because he's been trying to get him to come in for months. The order comes in and I'm expediting that night (calling the orders). Waiter hands me the order and just as I'm about ready to call the order Nicky comes in and asks to see the order. He starts changing the order! He gives it back and I'm like "are you really sure you want to do that?" I mean, you don't !@#$ with the Chairman of the Board's order, but Nicky insists. Later that evening Nicky comes in the kitchen and I asked him how Frank liked his dinner. Nicky said "I walked to the table and asked him how his dinner was. He said Nicky, it sucked." I !@#$ing thought Nicky was going to cry. Like I said, you never change the Chairman of the Board's order.
I've got a bunch of good celebrity food stories.
Haha that's really funny. Great story!

This is not especially dirty but it is true.
I was on a date many years ago in a real fancy Hollywood restaurant. And I look over at a corner table and there sits Frank Sinatra. Well I was really hot for this chick and wanted to impress her so when she went to the bathroom I quckly went over to Sinatra and explained my desire to impress this girl. So I asked if he could come over to my table on his way out and say hello to me, act like he knew me. Being the ladies man he said yes and I told him my name was Jim. So he comes over to our table and says "evening Jim, good to see you. How are you doing." I looked up at him with a disgusted look and said, "!@#$ off Frank, can't you see I'm busy."
I know it's not true but is that a an old joke or did you make that up?

How about Warren Buffett? Owner of the Buffalo News and big sports fan.
Not the worst idea but not likely. And as far as Trump goes I highly doubt it. Trump is a business man. He tries to make money with his investments. He could make more money investing a billion dollars in something else.
It could be the Maloofs. They do already own two pro franchises, but didn't they threaten to move Sacremento to Las Vegas if a new arena wasn't built? That kind of scares me.
It's most likely Galisano.

Why does Andre Smith remind you of Mike Williams? Because you're a Bills fan thats why! Smith dominated the SEC for 3 years starting when he was a true freshman. He was a 3 time All American/SEC and he won the Outland trophy by the time he was 21. Look at what happened to Alabama when Smith got suspended, they got rolled by Utah! The dude is a difference maker who acted his age for a month, otherwise he had a squeaky clean record at Bama. Take Peter's or Walker's shirt off and let them run the 40, it ain't gonna be pretty! The Mike Williams comparisons have to stop because Williams never came close to doing what Smith has done ON THE FIELD!
Thankyou!! Andre Smith can't even be compare him to Mike Williams. Smith can be a great player in this league and could be truly dominant. There is a reason people think he is a top 12 pick even after his antics.

This guy is an absolute monster. Take a look at this video of him tackling Michael Turner. Start at the :12 second mark to see the hit.

He is a real keeper.
I love it. One of the best first posts ever.

No chance. Hangartner will play center and if they draft a rookie, he'll sit and learn.
No chance? I respect your opinion because I think we'll bring in a guard but right now we have a hole at LG right now. I would rather have an elite talent rookie at center and hangartner at guard than Hangartner at C and a hole at LG.
-
He could play Center, Hangartner could play guard.
Thats what I think will happen. Not necessarily with Caldwell but I think we will draft a center and have hangartner play guard. This C class is too deep not to take one.

I could deal with that this season. That line could probably do better than last year's.
