Drove through downtown Cincinnati tonight during my daily work commute and all of the buildings are lit up blue and red. Paul Brown stadium is blue and the convention center turned their huge “Cincinnati” lights into a blue/red display. Bengals have been my 2nd team since moving here in 2008 (when it has no impact on the Bills) and seeing how this city has stepped up has solidified that for me. Especially with Zac Taylor as their coach.

What a game. Ugly at times but it was great to see it in person. That was the most bills fans that I have ever seen at an away game.

He looked good to me. Almost all of his snaps were at the end when the Titans knew that every play would be a run and he still moved the chains. He is going to be one heck of a weapon.

So far I have enjoyed the games but I really do not understand why they mostly chose cities that already have NFL teams. I would have liked to see: - South Carolina (Columbia or Charleston) - Omaha - Austin or San Antonio - Detroit (people are begging for something other than the Lions) - St Louis - San Diego - Louisville or Lexington KY - Oklahoma City I also wonder what type of support they would have had if they chose a team in Buffalo? I tend to believe the place would be packed this time of the year.

This team does not deserve a reception at the Airport.

You have got to be kidding me... The team is currently 4-2 and Marcell Dareus has done absolutely nothing to contribute to their current winning record. I watched him closely last week and I was not impressed at all. At no point did he seem like one of the top DT's in the league. Marcell was given every chance to succeed under multiple coaching staffs and he instead chose to make poor decisions and became a cancer in the locker room. Do you recall him publically throwing Rex Ryan under the bus last year and whining about his defense being too complicated? What was his excuse this season now that the defense has been simplified? It is Marcell's fault that he came into this year out of shape and chose laziness over discipline. With regards to his other moves, this team is in cap hell and like it or not Buffalo is not an attractive destination for free agents do to the franchise history and the national perception of Buffalo in general. They have to build through the draft and so far I give them an A+ for fielding a competitive team after getting rid of their "stars."

The Cincinnati / NKY Buffalo Bills Backers group usually hosts a tailgate across the river in Covington under the bridge. We usually do Longworth but we went to their tailgate in Covington last year and had a blast. It is free parking and it only costs like a dollar to take the bus to the game. When it comes to tickets, my advice is to wait on buying them until a few weeks before the game. The fickle fan base here in Cincinnati will start dumping tickets when the Bengals start losing early in the season.

De'angelo Henderson RB from Coastal Carolina is my sleeper this year. Whatever team takes him is going to be getting a bowling ball. Unfortunately I think the Colts are going to pick him if he is still around in the fourth round.
