What's Edwards game lacking/
Endzone Animal replied to maryland-bills-fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Edwards can't handle pressure in the pocket or inclimate weather. Hit him in the mouth once or twice and he's shot the rest of the day. Mix in cold, windy, snowy or rainy weather and he's worthless. More than anything, he lacks toughness. -
Seems a coach can win or lose you some games, too. Ask the Pats, who seems to be doing pretty well with Joe Nobody at QB and Belichik at HC, or San Diego, who is dropping like an anvil under Norval Turner with championship talent.

Try telling Miami and Atlanta that it takes 3-4 years to be competitive.

Marty Mornhinweg watch begins...
Endzone Animal replied to Endzone Animal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Almost forgot; Wayne Fontes and Monte Clarke are still available, too... -
...or could it be Mariucci instead? Gary Moeller? Marinelli might be available, too.

Don't know...could you research that and get back to us with the numbers? Thanks. Inferior still. If it was as good or better than the competition we wouldn't be having this discussion. Don't know what they get...could you research that and get back to us with the numbers? Thanks.

Big American union wages way too high, big American auto company makes inferior product, big American auto company charges too much for product, big American auto sells too few cars, big American auto company and big American union receive federal subsidy of $55 billion, big American company and big American union repeat process... Sounds about right.

Why so depressed around here?
Endzone Animal replied to devldog131's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why be depressed? There's always next year. We're rebuilding, after all. A couple more strong drafts, a top free agent or two, a little more seasoning for the kids who are just learning the system, letting the young QB develop another year...we'll be fine. Let's just be patient awhile as the team goes through some growing pains. We have to have some faith! -11/19/2000 -
I liked Ferguson more than most, but when he would hang his head coming off the field after an INT you new it was over.

Looks a bit Plummer-like. Maybe uni-bomber? -
I am a pro-life, hardcore conservative, but I really do hope McCain chooses Lieberman for VP. Lieberman will fall into line with McCain's platform on the issues of judges and life so I'm not at all worried about that, and he gives McCain the best shot at winning. He offers competence, tireless campaigning, a huge national buzz that will likely be very positive, and a real option for the centrist Dems who are still bitter over Obama getting the nod over Hillary. Remember, Joe is fiscally conservative, a military hawk, voted in favor of the John Roberts confirmation, and pushed the Alito nomination through so the Dems couldn't philabuster. Though he voted against Alito, Lieberman has since said that he regrets voting against him and if he could do it over again he'd have voted for his confirmation. Obama's campaign is now staggering badly. By selecting Lieberman, McCain would be going for the kill.

I have no use for this POS. Hope he goes on IR in week one and Freddy goes for 1500 yards.

Ex-Gitmo prisoner carries out suicide attack
Endzone Animal replied to UConn James's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I am not interested in the rights or lives of our enemies. We are at war, we capture terrorist enemies who are trying to kill us, keep them alive until they have nothing left useful to extract, and then they are shot. If the Supreme Court says we need to offer them full rights to a trial in a US civil court, fine, we make the process quicker, give a battlefield interrogation, and then shoot them. Either way, any enemy combattant who is caught in the act of terror, or conspiring to commit terror, must be shot dead. If we aren't willing to fight war as a true war, meaning war of victory by killing as many of the enemy as possible until they have unconditionally surrendered, than let's declare ourselves the United States of Switzerland and disband our military. -

McCain needs help to get online?
Endzone Animal replied to elegantelliotoffen's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Actually, he's currently 71 and will turn 72 in a couple months. While many people in their 70's can't use the internet, figure out the remote control, calculate a tip, drive at night, eat fried or spicy food, get an erection, or remember what meds to take without the help of a social worker, we usually don't see them running for President of the United States. McCain is not a good candidate for anything but a condo association, as he appears to be closer to 82 than 72. -

Endzone Animal replied to elegantelliotoffen's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
McCain is the perhaps worst candidate I've seen, since...ever? Feeble, stammering public speaker, internet illiterate, loathed by the base of his own party, and geriatric. Where do you go with this? I can't believe the GOP just mailed in the election by nominating this guy... Huckabee would have been much better. At least he has a personality, youthfulness, popularity among the conservatives, and some degree of computer literacy. Ahhhcchhh...as a Republican I just ain't got nuthin good to vote for. -
Don't worry, Vince Ferragamo will be great once he gets acclimated to the system.

Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae
Endzone Animal replied to /dev/null's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Agreed. The treasury essentially printing money (extending credit) to bail out the secondary market will make the dollar virtually worthless, and cause prices to skyrocket. We're really in for it... -
"We need to take action now to expand domestic oil production," Bush said, adding later: "With this action, the executive branch's restrictions on this exploration have been cleared away. This means that the only thing standing between the American people and these vast oil resources is action from the U.S. Congress." Smartest words I've heard from Bush in a long time. The drilling needs to begin yesterday, as does the building of our new refineries.

So, you're saying that if Toronto isn't good enough for the powers that be they'll then have to relocate to an even bigger and still wealthier city? Hmmm...the Tokyo Bills. Aaahhhhh...ssooooo.... -
