  1. If someone is a moron for thinking that Trentative is looking like a big, fat suck then please count me in as a member of the moron club.
  2. I did say with very few exceptions. The lines blow, QB blows, LB's blow, mediocre secondary, coaches blow, management blows, and owner blows. What doesn't suck? ST are good, WR is above average, RB is average. Sounds like 5-11 to me, and that means a few ugly blowout losses that require extra drinking in the parking lot by the start of the 4th quarter.
  3. More likely: Tens of thousands of alcohol-feuled fans leaving the stadium early, utterly bored, looking to resume their Baggo for Beer in the parking lot rather than sit through watching the bums on the field.
  4. The problem when you have a team that sucks at nearly every position, plus coaching, plus management, plus ownership, is that singling out any individual's suckitude over another's is not so easy. What I find laughable are the blind fools who can look at these Washington Generals running around in Donahoe clown suits and unconditionally "Billieve" that this season will somehow be different. Trentative AND the rest of the rabble in the organization, from top to bottom, on the field and off, all suck with very few exceptions.
  5. How about blaming Walt Corey for failing to run blitz. How about blaming Andre Reed for not making the tough catches. How about blaming Marv Levy and Jim Kelly for waiting too long to exploit the Giants willingness to give up the run in order to stop the pass. How about blaming Kelly for not using intelligent clock management when just 5 more yards would have made a huge difference in the odds of making the kick. How about blaming Talley for whiffing on Magget not once but twice when stopping a first down would have been the difference in the game. How about blaming the players being cocky big-timers thinking they just had to show up, spending the entire Super Bowl week right up to the night before the game, in clubs and strip bars while the Giants focused more on winning the game.
  6. Think he'd sign a Buffalo '66 DVD box? I'm thinking no, but it would be pretty cool to have.
  7. How does a comment on a message board run an NFL QB into the ground? Are they that fragile of a species?
  8. Trentative Checkwards is pretty clever, too. Hmmm...We'll probably be just shortening it to Trentative anyway as time goes on, so I guess the last name isn't as important. Great stuff either way, though!
  9. And a very sticky nickname was officially born. Nicely done.
  10. Best excuse: He's so smart that he gets paralysis by analysis.
  11. I'm over there, too. Thanks!
  12. Yawn...the Bills annual Bataan Death March towards another losing season is so predictable it's hard to care. I guess the strategy being if they lose long enough and miserably enough fans will not protest so much when Ralph croaks and the team is relocated.
  13. For those of you who also post over at the Sabres message board, here is the message when you try to enter:
  14. I assumed this thread was about the Lions almost trading Barry Sanders.
  15. The Bills reach for a corner who was rated by the experts to go at least 10-15 picks later? Shocked, shocked, shocked!
  16. I find the absurd cheerleader posts far more annoying than the critical posts. Bitching about a perennially bad team makes a lot more sense than bitching at fans who post honest criticisms and observations.
  17. Actually, we aren't certain what his impression was. This show is anything but transparent.
  18. Indeed it is... Sometimes it's fun to argue from positions that one doesn't necessarily hold.
  19. No, remember he had already sprung the black dude with the weapon in the ambulance. Leaving an angry, vengeful Jack alive to come after you later is not something anybody would ever want. I say he left him alive for a reason.
  20. Whoever the hell this Peretz Hilton douche is, he just gave national media attention and celebrity status to the very cause he opposes because of a childish tantrum over nothing.
  21. True, but remember Jack was about to shoot him, so he could have played the self-defense card and said Jack lost his mind from the bio-agent.
  22. I agree, because if he wanted Jack dead he had the opportunity to shoot him instead of leaving him to just a seizure. Clearly he preferred him alive, but temporarily out of the way.
  23. We had to send away Peters to make room for guys who are less selfish and make better teammates both on and off the field... you know, like TO.
