  1. Lynch is not more talented, only more powerful. He is not more elusive, he is not a better blocker, he is not a better receiver, he does not read his blocks as well, he's not as well conditioned, and he doesn't make smarter decisions on or off the field. Power is just one aspect of the game. Lynch can move a pile better, can lower the boom better when he gets a head of steam going, but other than that he does nothing better, and Bucky is right to say he, rather than Freddie, is who should be the change-of-pace and short yardage back off the bench.
  2. Sound about right. Honestly, when I was growing up if I would have been caught doing something stupid like this I would have been happy to have the police involved rather than my parents. In 1983, when I was 16, I would have been brought over to the house to apologize and plead for his forgiveness, offered to clean and pay for any damages, vowed to never, ever do something like that again, and then gone home to face the music - which would not have been pretty, I assure you.
  3. Bucky Gleason agrees with us: Lynch is a powerful back, but Jackson is a better one. He's more suited for the Bills' no-huddle attack. He's a better receiver and more elusive in the open field, which fits the Bills' short-passing game. The Bills should keep him as their primary back and change the pace with Lynch rather than the other way around. Compare their character, and it's no contest. Jackson has been humble since he arrived while Lynch has been nothing but trouble. He's not worth the aggravation. He can easily be replaced. For all the mistakes Lynch has made off the field, his biggest was opening the door for Jackson on the field.
  4. oops, thanks. I'll change that.
  5. My personal list of stingers... 1. Wide Right: Norwood's crushing miss sets the stage for 4 straight Super Bowl losses. 2. Home Run Throwback: AKA Music City Miracle. Controversial lateral on final kickoff dooms Bills. 3. Harmon's Drop: Cleveland, Playoffs 1990. Terrible drop by Harmon in endzone costs Bills the game. 4. Dallas Devastation: 2007 MNF. Bills surrender 9 points in final 12 seconds to lose in Buffalo's return to Prime Time 5. Leodis' Fumble: 2009 MNF. Bills surrender 12 points in final 2 minutes to lose opener in Foxborough 6. Interference Game: Nov. 1998, pass interference on Bledoe's Hail Mary costs Bills the game in NE 7. Delay of Game: Playoffs 1981, delay of game nullifies big 1st down deep in Bengal territory in closing seconds 8. Dempsey Miss: 1979 opener, Dempsey's 34 yard miss on final play extends the losing streak to 19 against Miami 9. Flutie Fumble: Miami playoffs, 1999. After heroic rally, Flutie fumbles on Miami 5 with 17 seconds left 10. Jag Collapse: Opening Day, 2004. Jags win on last play after converting on 4th and 26.
  6. I know one thing...if the Bills lose this game it's going to get ugly fast for Jauron.
  7. Looks like TO has thrown Trent under the bus in WEEK 1! Those of you guys who watched the comments know what I mean...of course, he was right.
  8. I'm fairly certain it is the thickness and aging of the pepperoni cut that determines cupping. A very thin slice that's not properly aged doesn't have enough body to cup and just melts into the cheese. A thicker, more aged cut will have enough body to curl and crisp when baked.
  9. Nice to know that being a blind cheerleader who thinks the Bills are better than every NFL expert in the world thinks they are is what makes a person "look smart". I had no idea...
  10. Worst part: They are all fully aware that they are still a cursed team that will lose in epic fashion.
  11. He's a Friend of Obama and a former president, so the Obama approved media are only too willing to provide a big soap box for him.
  12. Early prediction: Bills win 20-16 The Bills have tended to do well following tragic defeats on national television. On the other hand, the Bucs are a very bad team, as bad as the Bills, so playing at home should add just enough boost to give the Bills a sloppy win. I wouldn't be surprised to see Leodis take one to the house.
  13. Stat for stat Freddie is better. He has better yards per carry, much better receiving numbers, is the better blocker, has not missed a game due to injury, has a great attitude in the locker room, is smarter, and is problem free off the field. Freddie > Marshawn
  14. Even by illiterate Mongoloid standards that was not a very impressive comment.
  15. I saw Hank Bullough at the Broadway Market the other day, and he didn't deny being a possible replacement for Jauron.
  16. That's why God made rope.
  17. I don't know whether to laugh or to cry.
  18. This just in: Winning close, come from behind games is the formula that won them 3 Super Bowls. Losing these games is Buffalo's specialty.
  19. Obey Obama or suffer the consequences. I have never, and will never, given any public criticism of Mr. President because the consequences are too steep, the risks too large. I can't aford to be on his blacklist, because I have a family to feed and care for. If I have anything negative to say I either keep it to myself or whisper in hushed, measured tones - and even then only among my most immediate family and most intimate friends.
  20. If he did, that would increase his grand thought total to two.
  21. Freddy reminds me of Joe Cribbs. Lynch reminds me of Bam Morris.
  22. I see a lot of Joe Cribbs in Freddie, myself.
  23. Wow, I can't think of many private companies that would stay in business for very long with that philosophy, but it certainly does summarize the Bills attitude towards their potential consumers pretty accurately.
  24. Fans are chumps.
  25. Actually, because he fumbled twice in that game I think he's one more fumble from being replaced on kickoff return. Honestly, I am not a big fan of starters returning kicks anyway and two in one game is not a good sign.
