  1. Devlin still available?
  2. Why should it be a problem... Toronto is a part of the Buffalo market, remember?
  3. Mike Williams.
  4. You're blind if you don't see how Freddie's combination of speed, power, elusiveness, intelligence, receiving ability and blocking ability makes the line look great. Lynch can come in for short yardage, otherwise I want Jackson in the backfield every down possible. He's better, period.
  5. Here's the link... http://www.mlive.com/news/flint/index.ssf/...stern_stan.html
  6. Very sad...link?
  7. If you love Lynch as much as you say, than you should be psyched at the idea of him being our designated short yardage specialist, and moving the piles for first downs and touchdowns. If you love Freddie as much as you say, than you should be elated at the idea of him getting most of the snaps and making plays running and catching the football.
  8. Does it make sense to be a sports fan? I mean, to blow a ton of time and money rooting for a bunch of rich strangers to outscore other rich strangers in a game that has nothing to do with your own life seems to be the most irrational thing a person can do. Why bother? Why "BILLIEVE" in a team of people you'll never know, owned by someone you'll never know, and then get your heart broken when these rich strangers who could care less about you personally scores fewer points than the other rich strangers? Let's face it, being human requires a certain suspension of disbelief.
  9. Your denial of giving Lynch a free pass while simultaneously making lame excuses and apologies for his every deficiency seriously made me laugh out loud. Bottom line: Both backs can't have the ball in their hands at the same, so you give Freddie the majority of the playing time because he is better in every phase of the game, except perhaps short yardage. What do you do with Marshawn? Put Lynch on the field in goal line and short yardage situations, but the rest is for Freddie until he needs a rest or has an injury. Oh, and at 28 with very little tread on his tires he's not too old...not sure where you read that, but it shows you are egregiously biased against Freddie for whatever reason.
  10. Glad you like them both. I have actually come right out and said Lynch would make a very good short yardage specialist who can also give Freddie a blow whenever he needs one, so you can cut the crap about me "attacking". I believe he's in bad shape because he has frequently taken himself out of games for extended periods because he gets winded and nauseous, and this year he gained weight in the off season so it stands to reason he won't be any better conditioned this season. Also, when he's out with an injury he doesn't act like a good teammate and cheer the team on on the sidelines, but sits in a luxury box and leaves the game early. Remember the New England game last season? Maybe you should stop giving a free pass to anyone wearing a Bills jersey and start acting with a little objectivity.
  11. Wrong again. He's 28.
  12. Look in the mirror, bub.
  13. One other stat: Lynch has never rushed for 163 yards in a game in his professional career.
  14. Saints: 34-17. Too much fire power.
  15. I really like the fact that Edwards was throwing some deep balls. Whether that's AVP pushing him to air it out I don't know, but I like it.
  16. Having an opinion that is shared by the majority is not a crusade.
  17. No, I put up an objective poll in which over 60% of the voters agree that Lynch is not as good as Jackson. I guess you're just all flustered because your boy is overwhelmingly getting punked in the poll. Sorry that you are taking losing a message board poll so personal, but, as they say, them's the breaks. Deal with it.
  18. Bench Lynch Has a nice ring to it, don't you think?
  19. I think it's pretty obvious to everyone right now that Jackson is the best running back on this team. He starts the rest of the way - barring injury of course. Putting aside the fact that Marshawn is an illiterate thug from the hood with a bad attitude on and off the field; Jackson is just a better player, period, and deserves to be the man.
  20. Ironically, it seems the Lynch supporters are more likely to be angry, have a bad attitude, act disrespectful to others, and come across as a bit stupid. Jackson supporters have generally been more calm, rational, articulate, and respectful. This is just a generalization, of course, because there are certainly exceptions to the trend, but it is an interesting observation.
  21. Looks like someone skipped their anger management class...
  22. I don't think so. The 10:30pm game is not over until almost 2am, which is just not fun on a Monday night. I enjoy the special focus of one game, too, and think keeping the other games all on Sunday is the right move.
