Why does anyone care about Leach, anyway? He seems to be an a-hole far as I can tell. The university obviously decided to fire him for grounds, and the affidavits back their decision. He was ultimately fired for insubordination for refusing to agree to limits set by the university on how players can be punished. This is only a controversy if you are in Mike Leach's immediate family.

Locking a concussed player in a closet certainly helped him keep that authority. Brilliant!

Verdict: Slam dunk - Leach is a douche who forced a concussed player to be locked in a small, dark room because he didn't like him or his dad. The affidavits of those directly involved leave no more room for rational argument. Case closed.

Why, back when I was in High School if we ever dared complain about an injury our coach would lock us in an electrical closet AND electrocute us! And you know what? We respected him for it. It brought us together as a team. This generation is just a bunch of pansies.

It would make perfect sense knowing how Wilson operates. He would come cheap, provide incredible media buzz from this scandal, and is considered a "mastermind" offensive coach. Imagine hiring Leach as HC, signing Vick at QB, resigning Owens at WR and having Lynch at RB. The national publicity generated with all these tabloid friendly characters together in Buffalo would be priceless, and no doubt be a huge boost for ticket sales for very little money!

Prediction: Wilson will milk the "no football in 2011" excuse for all its worth, and again lament how the "small market" situation in Buffalo prevents him from being able to afford/attract the top tier GM/HC options. Same ****, different decade.
