  1. Pryor didn't do much in college and nothing in the pros to this point. A 7th round pick is essentially nothing. Remember, Carroll brought in JP Losman too.
  2. At one point during the college season Matthews was graded as the top prospect in the draft. One of the big 3 in Robinson, Matthews, and Lewan should be there when the Bills pick. I really hope Whaley and Marrone go OT in the 1st round. It's the quickest and best way to help EJ and the offense at this point
  3. Dabo Swinney? Only in the south...
  4. Maybe Buddy Nix can be his manager
  5. Well, Casserly was ridiculed by many when he chose Mario Williams over Reggie Bush but he was right in the end. No doubt the Bills selected Manuel way too early but this years QB class, which was supposed to be strong, has a ton of question marks as well. EJ has just as good a chance to be good (or a bust) as any QB in this years draft.
  6. Classless on Spikes part. I don't think this is going to go over well with Marrone. Spikes strikes me as a "me" guy. Marrone is all about the team.
  7. We'll have a better idea after the 2014 season. If anybody states Manuel will be good or a bust, they are just guessing at this point. Nobody knows.
  8. Bill used a cigar, how's a test tube feel?
  9. Take an offensive tackle #1- it's the smart thing to do. Helps the running game and gives EJ more time back there which will help the passing game too. WR is a need too but O-line improvement will make more of an impact.
  10. "Excessive flatulence or foul smelling flatus is pretty rare" Clearly you haven't been to Taco Bell.
  11. Speaking of Hardy, could Sammy Watkins become the next Perry Tuttle?
  12. The Bills biggest needs are O-line and WR. There's Evans and Watkins in addition to Robinson, Matthews, and Lewan. These are all top prospects and at least one if not several will still be on the board for the Bills to choose from. There is no reason for the Bills to trade up.
  13. Mr. Wilson was a loyal man and that is a sign of his character. He served his country in WWII and made his fortune in the insurance industry that allowed to buy an AFL franchise that would lead to a huge ROI. An American success story to say the least. He always liked a good joke in my observations of him and I think that sense of humor contributed to his longevity. He gave back to the community- my grandmother died in a hospice center in Orchard Park that bore is name. Thank you for the inspiration Mr. Wilson.
  14. EJ Manuel is on track to becoming T. Pryor. Why would we wan't another guy that can't play?.
  15. He was a heck of a football player. He had those straps that kept his helmet attached to his neck roll. I called him pitbull because he mauled people especially when he pulled. I remember hearing an interview with Bill Romanowski here in Miami about 2 years ago and he was asked who hit him the hardest and who he hated playing against the most. Romanowski's answer? Jim Ritcher.
  16. Carrington has shown no productivity on the field other than for blocking kicks. Another classic example of thinking guy can play based on draft status (3rd round in this case). Being drafted in the top few rounds of the NFL draft does not make you a good player. See Mike Williams, James Hardy, Ashton Yoboty, Ko Simpson, TJ Graham etc, etc, etc
  17. "Cops hauled him to a new 'pad' -- jail."
  18. Remember the whole Ricky Williams-Master P thing and how teams passed on Ricky because of concern over signability? Players should have professionals represent them imo. Hey, at least Eugene Parker is not representing Evans.
  19. No, Andre Reed wanted wanted to show Smith his HOF yellow jacket.
  20. A solid back-up? Really?
  21. With the loss of Byrd the Bills are a worse football team. No doubt. But for a floundering organization that really has no chance of winning does it really matter in the end?
  22. The Bills lost a good player no matter how you try to justify it with the "he's wasn't worth the money" logic. Like Antoine Winfield before him, in the end he simply wanted to play for an organization that has a chance to win. As of now the Bills are a worse football team than they were yesterday.
  23. BYRD DOESN'T WANTO PLAY FOR THE BILLS. THAT'S NOBODY'S FAULT. TAG HIM AGAIN AND THE PLAYERS WILL FURTHER BLACKBALL THE ORGANIZATION
