  1. So was Leif Larson.
  2. There seems to be alot of good things being said about Schoumann. It seems by my reading he is developing a good rapport with Trent Edwards. I hope he is more of an offensive threat than Robert Royal.
  3. I don't like McGahee either but the bottum line is the guy can play. He made the probowl last year man. We had to replace him using our 1st rounder on Marshawn Lynch. Seems to me we could have used that 1st rounder at another spot instead of treading water. That's just the way things run at One Bills Drive- lose a guy and replace him don't advance. Kind of like having Clements then having to use this years's 1st rounder to replace him with McKelvin. Sure Clements made alot of money, but he is a top CB and is a playmaker. Just ask the Dolphins if they were glab he left Buffalo for San Fran.
  4. How does Marcus Stroud look? Is he hobbled by his ankle or is he moving around well? How does James Hardy look? Is he making plays or does he look like a raw rookie that we have placed too much hope in at this point? These are 2 huge questions that will have a major impact on our season. Thanks.
  5. Yea, and Tiki Barber and Michael Strahan were seated at another table.
  6. I personally never understood the accolades given to Dr. Z. Quite frankly, the guy is a little wierd and even scars me.
  7. Takeo was a great player. Unless your a QB, I really don't know if any player has returned from an Achilles tendon rupture and been the player he was prior to the injury. We saw this in Bflo with Sam Cowart and Takeo Spikes.
  8. Let's hope Edwards will be better than Fiedler who my jewish friends referred to as a putz. Ay ve!!!
  9. Dream on homie. JP may start for a team with other scrubs at the qb position but is not a capable NFL starter.
  10. Say whay you want about Willis but the guy did run for over 1000 yards and made the pro-bowl.
  11. I would love for JP to go to Miami. That way we could put 11 men in the box and just dare him to pass.
  12. JP had plenty of chances to claim the job and failed. I grew so tired of him locking onto Lee Evans and throwing bounce passes to everyone else. He got replaced by a rookie. Enough said. He will be in the league for 6-8 years as a back-up because of his physical skills but doesn't have "it."
  13. Humble Pie. It works for the Pats, why can't it work for us.
  14. Wow, I have a knot in my pants and am suddenly a big fan of the CFL. I love Canada.
  15. Best pizza that I remember is Boce Club Pizza on Bailey ave. Is it still there? That was only pizza joint I have ever been in that uses real slices of pepperoni from a stick- none of this salami thickness garbage that is pawned as peperroni everywhere nowadays. Man I'm getting hungry.
  16. I am willing to bet we won't confuse this film with Citizen Kane. I'll wait for it on DVD which i am confident will occur 2 weeks after its release in movie theaters.
  17. Oops...senior momenr. I forgot about Jason Garrett.
  18. No doubt Wade Philips will be out as head coach in Dallas in 1-2 years. No one can deny he is a good defensive coordinator but lacks leadership and sideline demeanor to be a good head coach. Believe me, his success in Dallas is because he inherited Parcells' team. Who do you think Jerry "facelift" Jones will bring in?
  19. I recently became a member of Netflix and received my first bill on my credit card statement. Who gives a crap you say? Well, the Netflix charge originated from Los Gatos, CA. Had it not been for our starting QB Trent Edwards who also hails from Los Gatos, I would never have known the friggin' town even existed. Could this be an omen? Time will tell my friends, time will tell.
  20. Webster Slaughter...too bad he was a WR ant not a LB.
  21. Guarantees are like a$$holes, everyone's got one. Here hoping Whitner is right!
  22. Who's next, Michael Strahan? Oh wait, we have to wait till the end of training camp until that one.
  23. Good call Bill. Kelsay takes alot of heat from posters here, but I too feel he can be 2008's most pleasant surprise.
  24. I like Donte Whitner. There is no doubt he is a great leader and a vocal guy you want on your team. I think he is a good not great player however. Maybe it's just me but if you draft a safety at #8, he'd better be a Ronnie Lott, Ed Reed, or Kenny Easley type difference maker. Whitner is not that type of player IMO.
