  1. Great post. Todd McShay had Woodson as the overall #1 NFL prospect at one point during the college season last year. I personally viewed this with disbelief on espn.com! Needless to say, McShay has no credibility IMO. He also said Marshawn Lynch was a "reach" where the Bills drafted him.
  2. Yea because a 1st round pick is expected to make a "great play every few games" and be inconsistent. You must be a scout for Matt Millen in Detroit. I watch EVERY game including this preason where McCargo had zero impact against 2nd and 3rd stringers. I also read the paper and have heard Perry Fewell question McCargo's motivation. Dude's being outplayed by 5th rounder Kyle Williams. What games have you been watching son?
  3. I still think Tripplett is better than McCargo because at least he made a rare play, whereas McCargo is basically invisible. No matter how you look at it, these were two Levy blunders.
  4. Don't hold this against me and it's a bit of a reach, but Omen with his short stature and thick build reminds somewhat of Travis Henry.
  5. I thought Kiwaukee was a pretty good nickel back. He resigned with Detroit not us so no sympathy from me.
  6. Mike Williams was a definitive bust. If we drafted McKinnie, he'd of been labeled a "disappointment" bordering on bust too. What a horrible top 5 draft that included David Carr and Joey Harrington. Yuck.
  7. Not worth the extra 5+ million Levy threw at him last year.
  8. Or picked up garbage downtown...oops!
  9. Best post of the day because it's always about Chad Johnson.
  10. In term of neck length...Yes. Giraffe>ET>Merton Hanks>Ashton Youboty
  11. You foolishly identified them as a "team on the rise" shortly after they traded their best defensive player in Jason Taylor and before the aquisition of Chad Pennington. Now, I think Pennington will make a significant difference. Without him I predicted 3-4 wins but with him 5-6 wins. They still stink and the Bills should beat them twice this year.
  12. McGee hands down. He is a "special" special teams player. If not for Devon Hester, he would be referred to as the best kick returner in the league. From a personel point of view, I used to head to the kitchen or crapper during kickoffs, but with McGee back there, there is definite excitement and I wait to do the prior mentioned activities when our offense takes the field.
  13. I thought he was a pretty good safety...at least compared to Darryl Porter
  14. And does great during coaching interviews.
  15. My only wish for this season: One Home Playoff Victory. It would be great to see The Ralph rock like during the Kelly years.
  16. As ridiculous as this sounds, I would rather not make the playoffs than lose one on the road. That's too disheartening. Now if we get a home playoff game and win one, that's the good stuff.
  17. Trent Edwards is the guy DJ wants to run the offense. He's smart, and for a rookie last year had a tremendous ability to look for open receivers. JP is out of here at the end of the season and we will need another QB. If Edwards has an awful year and we are in a position to draft Tim Tebow would you take him? The guy reminds me a Steve Young having a great arm and runs like a half back-full back hybrid. Thoughts?
  18. Thanks Willis McGahee.
  19. The holdout will end at some point, he'll say he wants to concentrate on football, and we will cheer when he springs Marshawn Lynch for a 1st down on 3rd and 7.
  20. How can we forget about the "cab driver" that always revealed the Bills 1st round pick to Berman during the Butler and Donahoe eras.
  21. We are dangerously thin on the OL and WR for that matter. Git 'er done Russ.
  22. Nobody circles the wagons like the...ahhhh forget it.
  23. Around the league, starters typically play 1-2 series in the final preason game before the scrubs errrr developmental players go in. This is precisely why the preason should be only 3 games. The last game is really a waist of time especially if you're a sucker who paid full price for the tix.
  24. Speaking of CB play, I keep hearing how good McKelvin looks. Greer has been solid so it fortunately gives more time for McKelvin to acclimate to the pro game because he looked foolish on that big touchdown he gave up last night. He strikes me as a player who will learn from his mistakes and improve his game.
