  1. Paranoid much? It's a little more than conjecture, dude.
  2. Move on. I don't want to run in place with someone who is wishy washy at best.
  3. Get me Crabtree to go on the outside with Sammy. Move Woody to the slot and we are Golden. Just need a QB!
  4. Welcome to the internet age. It's done- these things take time.
  5. I hated TO because he was a premadonna, until he became our premadonna. I hated Rex because I thought he was a blow-hard. Now he's our blow-hard!
  6. This meeting = Leverage for falcons job
  7. Congrats. Good info. Your spot of the tbd trust-o-meter just shot up
  8. Leroi- this is your make or break post, dude. 14 posts and you come with this. Better be solid.
  9. He'd technically have to.
  10. A part of me would love to see us put a stake in the ground and make the first hire. Unfortunately, the reality is that our probable top choices likely want to be elsewhere and we'll have to wait to see where things fall before getting "our" guy.
  11. I think he's gone with Hughes and Spikes. Carry on my wayward sons, we'll replace you as we always do with late draft picks and scrap heap free agents.
  12. wet dream. That would be AWESOME
  13. I'd be all for this. Hoping they go qb in 2/3 round too.
  14. The X-factor here is money. T. Pegs ain't Ralph, which may give us a chance at guys we couldn't even realistically approach in the past. Wherever we land will be telling about how much people think of our organization and if money makes a difference. No matter what, they are going to play up the, "we had an exhaustive search and this was a our first choice candidate" angle.
  15. One of the WGR morning guys brought up a point this AM that in a backwards way has merit. If we wait it out and other teams start to fill their slots, we may have an opportunity- that we wouldn't otherwise have because we're not the most desirable slot- to land one of the Seattle guys or perhaps Gase. Basically, we'd be the last job left. Funny, but waiting could work if we really want these guys and they don't have us at the top of their list, which they likely don't.
  16. Let's be honest, our roster is finally in a place where not having a full slate of draft picks won't kill us. We don't have many holes and in most places have good depth- it's not like 2-3 years ago. I wouldn't stress, most of these guys won't make the team this year.
  17. without reading back through the entire thread, is he even a named candidate for our job?
  18. I hear that Whaley- as a condition of hiring- is planning to ask him to change his Sanchez tat to one of EJ checking down.
  19. I think I'm in the Ryan, Schwartz or Shanny camp. Give me a coach with HC experience who has won- I'm not willing to gamble another 3 years on an unknown, promising, candidate.
  20. T. pegs is headed back to B-low this am.
  21. Round and round we go, where it stops, nobody knows. I think they like guys that they can't hire until they are out of the playoffs. Me thinks they are kicking tires in the meantime. Definitely exhaustive this time around
  22. I would love nothing more than to see him wind up without a chair when the music stops
  23. Perhaps he's one of the potential O coordinator candidates for the HC's that they are interviewing. If true, then they are really doing their due diligence. I sincerely hope they aren't talking to him for HC job, if they are even talking to him at all.
