This is extremely sad news, but I can't help but question running on and off of train tracks, especially if wearing headphones. Like running in the bike lane to me.

No connections to Buffalo whatsoever. Born and raised in California. Grew up during the glory era and latched onto the team as a kid. 25+ years later, I am in too deep. TV or in person, I haven't missed a game since 96'. The house was definitely affordable. Bought in Elmwood Village during the economic crisis and it was a song. Love the community and I have many friends and cherished memories in Buffalo. It's an amazing community and I am happy that a team of lovable losers positively impacted my life the way it did and continues to do.
