How many of you were just like me last year (swept up in the madness) and went out and purchased a TO jersey knowing full well he had only signed a one year deal?
So the question is, who amongst us is going to elect to go with the Easley duct tape cover up? If not, are you planning to retire the TO jersey or continue to wear it until its dirty and faded?
Bonus question- What other jersey(s) have you purchased and covered up with duct tape because the original player flamed out? Or do you still proudly rock your Losman and Mcgahee jersey?
Two questions...
1) To anyone that's been to GB before, what hotel(s) would you recommend?
2) Are Bills fans staying at a specific hotel? If that's the case, I'll book there.
Thanks,
Depth/Insurance.
With very few players actually hitting free agency, we can't turn over our entire roster. While a lot of you want to see him go, (me included) right now its in our best interest to keep him.
Chuck,
Free agency hasn't started, the draft isn't here and its a bit premature for trades. Hang tight. I'm sure there's a plan, it just doesn't happen to include previous regime holdovers like wendling, jenkins, ownes, reed, denney etc etc.
Born and raised in northern california. No ties to buffalo whatsoever. Became a football fan at a young age, watching the Jim Kelly led bills. I now have season tickets to the bills (still live in CA). I fly to buffalo at least three times a year and generally hit two road games. I even went as far as buying a house in Buffalo.
I've missed one game on TV or in person in the last 10 years. This team has given me heartbreaking loss after heartbreaking loss and yet I still wipe the slate every Sunday, throw on my bills jersey and root for them like we're playing for the superbowl. Call it blind alligence or just faith. Regardless of how crappy the team is, I still appreciate everything this team stands for and everything they mean to the community of buffalo.
The long suffering fans will one day be vindicated.
After attending last night's game, I'm still in Boston, so it's taking a little longer. Hard to see the chowderheads wearing their pats jersey's two days in a row. People are strutting around like they won the damn superbowl last night. I'll be heading to Buffalo tomorrow, hopefully I'll get the lose out of my system soon. It still hurts though.
Sounds like a few of the faithful will be there. If anyone is interested in linking up for a few cold ones PM me and we'll link up. Power in numbers- GO Bills.
I apologize if this has already been posted or if it belongs in another section.
Anyhow, I'm making the trek to Boston, from California for the game and am trying to identify a group of bills fans to have some beers with before the game. Who's going?
