    Thurman tweeted, "holla at me" in response to Dixon's headed to Buffalo tweet. Love it. The glory era guys are all we have in terms of recruitment. Kelly helped land Mario; good to see Thurman reaching out.

    Dude is now saying that they remain interested in Ryan Clark and Brandon Spikes. Best Twitter response to his "clarification" tweet: "You should tryout for the NFL. Elite back-pedal, 1st round corner talent."

    Fwiw- Mario didn't sign right away. Hughes was a trade and Lawson and branch came days into free agency- branch way later in the process.

    I do like that free agency starts in the middle of the day now; no more Buddy asleep at the wheel comments; no more me staying up way late only to have the Bills sign no one.

    Spot on about OBD. I long for the days of NeverGiveUp insider info. That said, agents are leaking info left and right during this "window". It has been radio silent re; the Bills. Makes me believe that we're not going to be a big player in FA.

    Who besides me has checked TBD 30 million times during the anti tampering free agency window expecting to see atleast a few rumors? A little disappointing. Guess it's Byrd or bust right now.

    I just think back to the Mario recruitment. The weather was unseasonably warm and we were still all on pins and needles hoping that he and his fiancé would like the area. I hate to say it, but it plays a big part- especially if we go after one of the bigger fish. Crappy weather in March doesn't help us.

    Hoping that they can get some deals inked via phone, becasue it sounds like their's some nasty weather brewing in the area. Visitors might not even be able to get into town tomorrow, let alone want to sign in the midst of a March blizzard.
