I am interested in what Beane thinks of Gandy-Golden. Kid looks big, fast, and good hands.

Pro Bowl Player Poll--Worst City to Travel To
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Lurker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think those are already happening. i think you also have to retain your population. Can’t have kids going to college and never coming back. Or keep college kids who grad from UB and Buff State in Buffalo. I am not saying a stadium will solve everything but a happening downtown can attract more corporations. -
Mel Kiper has the bills taking Shenault Jr

I am not sold on taking a wide receiver with the first two picks. I do want one early and then another one late. One guy I am keeping an eye on is Lawrence Cager out of UGA. Cager transferred from Miami and had an up and down year with UGA due to injuries. He is 6’5 220. I want to see how he runs since a late season ankle injury. Cager is a day three UFA with a ton of potential. -
FOX Sports tabs Devin Singletary RoTY candidate

It’s a nice mention and a sign of bright things to come. Now, if Singletary stays healthy and gets 15+ touches a game next year, I could see him get offensive player of the year nomination. -
Pro Bowl Player Poll--Worst City to Travel To

That’s not really the case anymore. Slowly but surely it’s making a comeback. I think the Bills moving the stadium to the city and on the waterfront could really speed that up and revitalize the entire city. -

I’m fine with that if Beane thinks it’s the right pick. I like Beanes style for drafting. Beane goes into the draft with targets and then figures out how to get them as the draft evolves. -
They schemes around what he was poor at. Passing to wide receivers on the outside and also wide outs who were not ‘open’. I have asked this before and still have not received an answer from anyone. Did Lamar audible at the LOS? I don’t recall seeing it against the Bills or the other games I watched him play in, Pats, Tenn, or SF.

New Orleans Saints in Court

Was the Church asking the Saints how to cover up a story? If so, I don’t think the Saints would be the team I would seek advice from. They should of reached out to the Pats for that!! -
Silly competition which doesn’t show much. Lamar will most likely say he was having fun and didn’t really care. The narrative of Lamar isn’t his physical talent, it is his emotional and intellectual intelligence. I hope Lamar can prove me wrong, but I don’t think he can improve on what he did last year. While I do believe defensive coordinators will be able to draw up plans to stop him. The NFL is a league of constant adjustments.

I think that is where it takes a special breed of people to be law enforcement. You can’t break a law and a code you swear to uphold because another person commits a despicable act. Hard to do, and not sure I could do it. Anyone who wears a gun to work to protect the rest of us deserves our respect first. The bad ones will hopefully get filtered out quickly.

He put the dagger in Alabama’s back. Good back, strong but has high end speed. He will probably be a second or third round pick. -
Cap space as trade currency?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. I think the only difference is a team that is up against the cap, likes it’s roster and feels it needs more cap to re-sign it’s own players about to hit FA. Look at the Falcons, I bet they would gladly trade away the extra second round pick they got from NE for maybe $10 mil in cap space. Falcons have a few players they would like to re-sign but only have $6 mil in space. Am I on the right path in the logic behind trading picks for cap? -
Ok, let me clarify. I had to cut short my post because my 5 month old started screaming. The similarities begin and end with making two big signings. The difference is, I know Beane isn’t signing a running back and MLB to $35 mil in contracts. Those are absolutely positions you find value at in draft picks. I love the difference between the way the Bills and Jets approaches FA last year. Bills brought in a ton of new players and gave most of them very team friendly deals. These players were all tier 2 FA except Morse who got a typical FA contract for a tier 1 player. Even that contract though was for a position of need and a position of importance. Beane has left himself with a ton of opportunities for this offseason. I think he will go after a DE in FA. I don’t know if I see Beane spending $35 mil on two players outside of the organization. I could see him doing something similar to last year. One tier 1 FA and then another round of tier 2 FA’s. By the draft there is no glaring need but upgrades can be had with picks in the first 3 rounds. My post wasn’t very clear. sorry.

Agreed. He is in. Doesn’t hurt he played for New York either.
