I would think anyone playing Professional football would be considered an elite athlete and therefore be someone who the virus would pose no more harm than the always existing flu. now everyone else like agents and family is a different story. It is 2020, no reason to delay FA. Let’s see what the next month shows before calling off the draft. I see both sides of it. One person is too many but we don’t have a great track record containing any virus as a civilization.

Got to agree. Shaq is going to make at least $10 mil a year. I have always thought it will average out to near $12 mil a year. Now I would gladly replace Murphy for Shaq for just a few million more. -

True, but I think players also know it’s not a sure thing anymore or even 50/50 as it was over those 10 years. -
Bills sign Josh Norman

And this is why when I see other posters arguing with you on FA and prospects I chuckle. Keep up the good work my friend! -

-Finally admitting Belichick isn’t a great drafter? -Belichick is going to have to focus more on game planning with the QB position in question, even with Brady. -Players aren’t wanting to come to NE as much because word is spreading Belichick is tough to play for. -

The signing of a big name vet FA just doesn’t feel like a Beane move. If Gordon wanted reasonable money like $5-$6 mil total, then ok. But I think Gordon is looking for $8-10 mil. -

I think the Bills ultimately want to find a young player on an inexpensive contract to play opposite of Tre. Tre is probably going to get one of the biggest deals for a CB when he does get the extension. I don’t think the Bills want to have $20+ mil invested in two corners. Johnson will seek multiple years and want money of a mid range corner. I got to think that is some where in the $8 mil mark. -

He just has to be for one year. And if the rumors are accurate about the contract not being guaranteed till the first game, it gives the Bills time to find out. -

Good post. if there is no real guaranteed money, other than I am assuming some type of signing bonus, this is a big win. Norman shows up out of shape or uninterested he is gone before week 1. Great signing and allows the Beane to take CB2 out of round 1 or 2 consideration. Still would like to see a CB picked somewhere in the mid rounds they see as development player that needs a year. Someone from a smaller school or with only a years worth of good film.
