Gotta agree Kirby, and I am usually the last guy who wants to take a RB high in a draft. I think if Clyde Is there I would pick him at 54. The offense with him and Singletary sharing plays would be dynamic. The offense would lose nothing if Singletary or Clyde was in there.

The nothing was a reference to the fact that Murphy’s current contract runs out after this year. I doubt Seattle would trade a first round pick after two seasons, but they might since they do need a DE.

I am all for drafting a RB, heck I would do so early. The offense would be set with one of the top 5 backs coming out.

More like, the Bills need running backs and also need to get some younger talent at DE. Murphy is a FA next year, so this would be like getting something for nothing in my opinion. Penny has shown flashes but nothing consistent. Not a bad gamble because I would cut Murphy at this point.

Have you ever improved at anything over time and repetition? It appears Ford is going to be allowed to spend an entire offseason focusing on tackle. Last year at this time Ford was getting ready to look good at the combine and pro day. Ford knows the offense and will be able to focus on footwork and other area’s like ‘hand punch’ . I am not saying he is going to suddenly be the best RT but I do think he will improve a good bit. The entire line coming back and playing in the same system is huge. I have never been a big Daboll guy, but I am a fan of continuity on offense. The Oline should look much improved.

There is something wrong with Winston. I mean he is apparently very intelligent but seems so strange. Belichick might be able to get something different out of him, but Arians is a pretty good judge of QB talent.

Love to see them draft Clyde Edwards and roll with Singletary, Edwards, Yeldon, and Taiwan. Singletary and Edwards split reps. Taiwan is backup and ST. Yeldon is call you due to injury. DiMarco is cut.

I don’t know if it’s the best but it’s adequate. People are basing their Barkley disapproval off the last game he played in. Which was in the rain with the second team going against the Jets first team. Funny how after 2018 we didn’t hear anything about it, why? Because Matt had played great in a few games. You are right about him being a good locker room guy, supporting Josh, and good enough to win a few.

I am loving getting one of the top backs in the second. Clyde Edwards with Singletary would by a dynamic backfield. Claypool is another interesting name. Big body wide out. We might see a CB taken in the second or third. I don’t think we need a vet leader in any of the defensive position rooms. Klein was brought in as the Lorax replacement for LB. A few other guys have been brought in for ST roles. I don’t see a need for Matthews.

I can’t believe I am saying this but I’d take Clyde Edwards in the second all day. Feel like with him and Singletary with the weapons at wr and o line, this offense could be dynamic. Couple that with the defense, and the Bills will stack up against anyone.

Joe Marino of the Locked On Bills podcast has never been a big fan. I like Joe a ton and think he is right more than wrong when it comes to college scouting.

I just don’t see it. I think people really are downplaying what Brady and Belichick accomplished together. Belichick isn’t a great college talent evaluator. He is average at best. The way the Pats won last year isn’t sustainable. Look for them to fall off the cliff. Bill might stick around, or he may move on and pull a Phil Jackson.
