Singletary Moss touches

Singletary will have more touches and yards but Moss will have more TD’s. -
Zach Cunningham signs extension with Houston
atlbillsfan1975 replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a fair take. I will point to the fact that the D struggled some when he was out last year. That’s also due to a very steep drop off from Milano to the backups. Then there is the fact that McDermott’s D has always used two good agile versatile LB’s to operate most efficiently. I would let the year play out and see how Matt does. If Milano can stay healthy and have another strong year then you have to try and sign him. The cap has everything thrown off. So who knows. Maybe this is a good sign though. Houston signed Tunsil to that crazy contract but it didn’t seem to have much impact on the Dawkins deal. -
So many things we don’t know as Bills fans. I’m sure it will come out. Did Beane make a phone call? Did Yannick have a list of teams he would or wouldn’t play for? Did Beane and McDermott feel Yannick was a fit both on the field and in the culture? On face value a 2nd and then a 5th rounder in 2022 isn’t a lot. Sure, I want a DE who averages almost 10 sacks a season for that. I also must remind myself the Bills got Addison in FA who does that same thing, albeit Addison is older but still has similar production to Yannick. DE can produce well into their 30’s, I look at Jon Abraham as an example.

Fish trading MLB Raekwon McMillan to Raiders
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This might be a bit of a stretch, no? Wishful thinking, but Flores showed he could win last year with the FO trading away far better talent. I think he can win without a MLB that isn’t top 15 at his position. -
Manish Mehta credentials pulled by NFL

We need more of this not less. People need to be held accountable for spreading information that is either incorrect or been edited to push an opinion but is presented as fact. In particular ‘media’ people need to be held to a much higher standard than they are now. -
Uh, he is 6’3”, every inch counts! That’s what...oh never mind.

Will Beane make a trade before cuts?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to ColoradoBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Love and Williams look good and AJ, what about flipping Murphy? Might have to eat some of his salary, but if you could free up $5 mil and get back a 5 round or later pick, i would do it. -
Inconsistent and not great at downing punts inside the 10 when he needs to.
-
True. But they do keep trying to bring in competition. I firmly believe in the staff and FO. I just don’t think there is a bunch of better options at punter. Stinks. Maybe next year they draft one in a later round.

Bills Entire Marketing Dept Steps Down
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Eh, we’ve had two coaches quit over the past 20 years and we are just fine. Sounds like the marketing department needs to find a Beane and McDermott. -
Edelman likes lives so much he paid to have one made about himself. Edelman is the Sandy Lyle of the sports world. He is a shart.

What are you basing this on? I like Tre and think he is top 2-3 CB’s in the game. Nothing I have seen says he will be giving home team discounts. Just my gut, but if the Bills want to keep Tre; it’s going to be because he is the highest paid and probably by whatever is the standard increase, if there is one. I also think Beane will get it done if Sean wants it done.
-
Why? He didn’t wish anyone in particular any physical harm. I don’t think it’s wrong to wish the cheaters to lose. They are cheaters, the league has punished them for cheating. Good riddance. I hope they spend the next 20 years fighting to not finish last. as for Gilmore. I hope he plays so we can watch the ‘Gilmore Glance’ when Brown burns him again. I use to hate watching Gilmore do that when he was a Bill, I love watching it now. He is a great talent but his attitude has never been anything to write home about.

A thread for Positivity!
atlbillsfan1975 replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Threads like this are helping to build up my excitement. Thank you OP. Need the weather to get a little cooler to help that fall feeling sneak in, and the calendar flip to September. This really could be a special season. -
Classy good man. Beat it!

Don’t want to pick nits with you, since you brought it up, shouldn’t a Vet with plenty of experience called a timeout? That play was the game changer. Pat knew how deep the Bills were and that the Pats has been aggressive on ST’s. Leaders take a stand. That block could of been prevented by a timeout.

We can agree to disagree on this one. It was backed up this week on a special teams pod cast for Locked on Bills. I trust the host, Joe Moreno, and my eyes. The host was answering a question about Gilliam and could he replace DiMarco. Gilliam has a ton on special team experience at Toledo. Joe made the comment that Pat didn’t grade out well at special teams. What are you basing you assertion that Pat was good at special teams?
