This is a good hire by the Jets. He seems to share some things in common with McDermott. If the owners will just get out of the way now, the Jets are going to be a better team.

Meyers personality might not built for today’s NFL. Meyers reminds me of a Saban, Spurrier, Kelly etc... who struggled relating to the pro athlete. You can’t be an authoritarian leader with these players. Maybe Meyer leads with more of an authoritative style that we don’t get to see in meetings and practices. I am sure the fact the Lawerence is the number one pick played a big part in his decision. Lawerence is the ultimate Teebow.

The Titans ran Henry into the ground over the past few seasons. Then the meathead Vrabel wasn’t able to see that Henry had nothing in the tank. I watched the 10 min highlights from last years Bills/Ravens game. Singletary was getting some good runs. If Josh can just be this years version of himself, we should be good.

This means we played them when the divisions played each other, 6 times over the 24 years and then another 3 times. The three other times are when the Ravens and Bills finished in the same position in their division. I believe that is how it goes. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Baltimore has won 2 Super Bowls in 24 years. They don’t need another one.

I am with you. I also am nowhere near as nervous about this game as I was last Saturday. For me, it has a lot to getting that win last Saturday. Now, we know Sean, Josh, and everyone else who comes back next year CAN rise to the occasion in the playoffs. I want to win this game and I am sure as it goes along and is close, because every Bills game is close it seems, I will become more anxious. I think the Bills are the better overall team and have the better QB, but I also know the Ravens are really good and well coached. It will simply come down to which QB makes the most plays to help his team win and limits mistakes. Redzone offense could also be important. For the year the Bills are 12th and the Ravens are 13th in scoring touchdowns, 62.86% for the Bills and 61.99% respectively. Now the last there games the Bills are over 90% for second behind the Pack, while the Ravens are below 54% for 19th in league. To be fair the Ravens do have a better redzone d than the Bills.

McShay reminds me of Bob Sugar from Jerry Maguire.

He looked shot last year with the Falcons. Freeman WAS a hard runner and good at pass catching. His size and body don’t hold up to the beating he doesn’t mind taking. It’s funny, when the Bills selected Moss this year I was hoping for what the Falcons got out of Freeman and Coleman for the Super Bowl year.

Keep Jackson in the pocket, slowly collapse in on him, and if he slips through, that’s when the spy has to tackle him. Very easy said, not so easy done. Honestly, you don’t want ends that get up field to fast, the Bills don’t have those right now. Shaq had a good game last year setting the edge. Hopefully Addison and Epinesa can do that this time.
