The McD hugging Diggs picture felt good to see. McD really does care about these players. What McD may lack on game day, he makes up for as being a leader of men. You can’t fake empathy. You can learn situational awareness football strategies. Look no further than Reid. Reid has always been loved by his players.

Good point on the Oline. The first meetings saw Winters at RG, not good, and Boettger’s first start at LG. Feliciano is a huge upgrade over Winters and Boettger has showed progress. I like Andy Reid so it’s tough to dislike the Chief’s, but their cocky fans are making it easier and easier. When we win our SB and go on our run, let’s stay humble and classy. Honestly, Chief fans should just look at how their HC models behavior.

Had the same thing happen at the gym yesterday here in Atlanta . I was wearing a Mafia mask and the kid recognized it and said the same thing. I hear what you are saying. Do we not at some point need to allow the doctors and medical research have a say? I believe the NFL has caught up with doing the best it can to protect the players. There is and always will be some level of risk playing football. I believe The NFL learned its lesson and will continue to keep player safety involved in all discussions.

Do we really want to talk about Freeman and missed blocks in big games? He missed a big one in the Super Bowl for the Falcons. Rather roll with Williams if they decide to bring another or different back.

Joe Moreno on Locked On Bills stated that Kumerow did fill in for Jones earlier this season. Are you sure Kumerow can’t play Jones’ spots on ST?

I hear ya. I guess my mind goes to the second Miami game when Jones was out and Williams played. I do not recall our ST's looking any worse for it. Now without the luxury of having Moss available I worry about drop off if Sing gets hurt. This might be exactly why they kept Yeldon around. They like Yeldon, they just like Moss and Sing better. Either way ,whatever McDermott decides I will trust it. Just watched the Stills highlight tape in the gameday thread. Stills makes a ton of sense to bring up for Gabriel if he knows enough plays.

What does Jones do on special teams? I have honestly not heard his name called once. Good or bad. Really asking here and not being confrontational.

If Davis can not go could this in any way help Williams be activated? Kumerow replaces Gabriel. Kumerow picks up Jones's ST snaps, which allows Williams to be active as RB3. I would hate to have Sing go down early and be left with Yeldon and Jones as our RB's in what appears like might be a game played in the rain. Stills does make sense to activate though from a straight one for one from Davis. What Davis has done well this year, long routes that allow him to go after the ball, Stills excels at as well. Blast away, or ignore if totally out there.

I don’t think you cut anyone on the line. Use Spain’s money and Winters to resign Feliciano. Nsekhe will be gone and cut Lee Smith, Yeldon’s contract get replaced with cheaper RB and apply some of that towards Williams. There should be enough money from other areas to keep the oline intact. Ike has been serviceable but Ford for sure will get a shot to start. Hopefully Fords third season will be as good as Dawkins.

This is how I see it too. Get another by a running back and Bass kicks a field goal or two and Bills win in a shoot out. KC is going to want to put up points. Lots of talk about how they haven’t blown anyone out all year.
