  1. No doubt. I am in grad school for mental health counseling, and just this past week attended two open AA meetings for a class assignment. It was my first experience with an actual AA meeting. I got to say the courage it takes to be completely vulnerable in front of a room full of people, most if not all strangers, is moving. Never underestimate the power of one persons story for other’s experiencing similar issues.
  2. Whoa, whoa, whoa...aren’t you one of the big guys?:)
  3. Love the interview more than the numbers at the pro day. He said he is most comfortable at center but can play any interior line position and will do whatever a team needs. Team leader. I can remember when this kid started his freshman year. For me spot 30 is right around where you could get value for a position like interior oline, one of the top 2 best available. Maybe move Humphrey to center for Allen starting in 2022. This turns into a Hull and Kelly relationship.
  4. Cam doesn’t have 1/10 the football IQ or leadership Brady does. God I hate complimenting Brady.
  5. That is one way to view it. I am really admitting that Beane knows more about it than I do. Brandon has information I do not. He also knows other moves he is making with the roster. I also know somethings about football but I am willing to admit I don’t spend nearly the time or have the resources a NFL GM does. That is why I trust Beane. He has shown he can put together a good team.
  6. I think they do, not that I like potentially tying up $25+ mil in two LB’s. I wonder how much McD says to Beane “I can win with these guys on D”?
  7. Reasons I am concerned about this- Milano didn’t seem to have a great year. Matt was hurt a good bit of the season with two different injuries. Both make me wonder about his body. Hammy and pec concern me. I also wonder how much will McD and Beane pay Edmunds. I have never been a huge fan of paying LB’s, but it does appear in McD’s D they are more valued. I wonder if McD gets more input on D. I look at the way the O was built and it’s much different than the D. The main reason I am ok with it- Beane. I trust him.
  8. I think we will see more of “angry” Bill this year.
  9. The thing is, he isn’t a genius. He should have retired when Brady left. Every year w/o Brady tells the real story Belichick is a below .500 coach. Facts.
  10. It doesn’t make sense for teams like the Bills to franchise tag anyone. The cap for 2021 has been adjusted down however the tag values have not. The only teams who can use the franchise tag will be teams like the Jets who have very few quality players to begin with and need to keep them, and have the means to pay the tag value (because they have very few quality players).
  11. Can not wait to see the details of the extension. Could have implications on Allen negotiations.
  12. For sure, this isn’t just a Bills issue. Creative GM’s with a good reputation for honesty will weather the adversity.
  13. I really wish McKenzie was more reliable. We desperately need more speed on this team.
  14. I exactly right. People need to get over the Pats fear. Last year proved what the magic was, and it isn’t some disgruntled old man wearing a smelly raggedy sweatshirt. Live Rudolph over Smith and Kroft. Sign me up for Knox, Rudolph, Sweeney, and whoever else Beane adds either late draft pick or a reclamation project.
  15. 100% back for me. The only position the Bills need to justify a trade up is a DE or pass rusher. I just don’t see the value there. Moving back would be great. Immediate impact players at RT, LB, CB, and RB all can be found in the top 100 picks.
  16. I don’t really see money being his driving force. It is part of the equation and he may take 10-20% less to play where he believes he has a chance at a ring. GB Buffalo Tampa (what is their cap like?!) Dallas Pitt ( if they did something very “unPitts” and traded for Watson).
  17. Time to move on from Barkley. Fromm has more physical talent and is under a very controllable contract for 3 more years.
  18. Why? Because he hasn’t been an Ahole?
  19. I like that he has vocalized this and that both sides are working together to get a deal done. Feliciano is a solid starter whose real value is increased by the intangibles.
  20. I am referring to the jet sweeps which were used. These were, for me at least, the most effective rushing attempts around the edge of the defense. None of the Bills back possess speed to take a pitch from the backfield and get to the edge. I understand that some of these sweeps by McKenzie were listed as passes due to the nature of being a forward toss by JA. I am a UGA fan and really wish McKenzie could be the returner and then the gadget guy on offense. I just do not have a ton of confidence he can be that guy. Whether it be an issue going back to college with fumbles on returns, or durability; McKenzie has his limitations.
  21. Ah ole Ray-Ray! No wonder Beane hasn't been over anxious to draft from Clemson! Kidding.
  22. Agreed. Saban is a master at evolving as times change. Look at the skill players he recruits now. He would always have one stud WR like Julio, now he has 3-4.
  23. Bama has a ton of talent. I wonder if they get dinged a little because they are playing next to studs? Like, are you that good or is he that good? For some reason Beane hasn’t touched the Bama well in his previous 3 drafts, he has steered clear of OSU and Clemson players too. I’m trying to think who we have drafted since Beane has been here and what big time schools he has picked a player from. Who am I forgetting?
