  1. Hate it for White. Hope it’s something he can come back from soon.
  2. As a Braves fan living in Atlanta, I have reminded myself of the Braves path to the WS after a couple of Bills losses. The big difference between the Braves run and the Bills, is the Braves GM Alex Anthopoulos went out and made some trades before the trade deadline. Beane did not. Not getting into that right now because it doesn’t matter. What is important is that there is nobody coming to “save” the Bills. They need to circle the wagons themselves! So come on boys! Circle the wagons. All of us. Go Bills!
  3. I think the Bills loss in Jax was a result of many different variables. A few being health, scheme, and preparation. I hope the scheme and preparation are different for the Colts game and this overcomes similar health issues.
  4. Yea, I didn’t check into the specifics. Thank you for clarifying. I didn’t mean to mislead anyone. Sure sounds like the Bills on O and D need to do what they do best and see if they can take care of business.
  5. Good question. I would rather the Bills stay in their “base D” which happens to be a nickel package. Maybe have Johnson sneak up and and a safety. Pittman and Taylor are the main threats. Wentz to me is very Ryan Tannehill like as a threat. He isn’t going to take a game over and throw for 300+ yards unless that’s what you are leaving him. In fact Wentz has one game over 300 yards…against Baltimore when he threw for 401 with a long 76 TD throw. Mostly he is in the mid to low 200’s and some well below that. Bills should play their D and make the Colts work for every yard. Think the Bills O is able to put numbers up on the Colts D, will come down to not settling for field goals in the redzone for the Bills.
  6. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/shout-a-football-podcast-on-the-buffalo-bills/id1507446314?i=1000542411904 https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/what-the-bills-can-expect-from-the-colts-with-zak-keefer/id1373776577?i=1000542502129 Here ya go. Great for listening while driving around today or pregame tomorrow.
  7. I had become extremely nervous about this game due to injuries. After listening to a couple of podcasts, I am a little more at ease. Matt Parrino & Ryan Talbot on their Shout podcast did a great job of breaking it down. Joe Buscaglia on the Athletic podcast also previews the game with the Colts beat writer for the Athletic. Both of these podcasts give great info. If you are looking for some numbers and analysis to help you feel better about the Bills chances, give them a listen.
  8. I could too and it still wouldn’t mean I could block anyone.
  9. He could be huge. Run stop and rush passer. Plays the Lorenzo Alexander role. Colts don’t have many playmakers outside Taylor and Pittman. Wentz is a sneaky good scrambler too. Let Klein stare into the backfield and hunt the ball. On offense, I think we see another week of Diggs benefiting from play-action and Josh being under center.
  10. Do you have stats to back this? Games before Dallas and then since? I’m not doing the work, I hope you will forgive me for not trusting a Pats fan. I bet you can figure out why.
  11. Exactly right. The problem is PFF has no clue what each players assignment is. Any knowledgeable football fan realizes this and takes grades by an outside source with a grain of salt.
  12. As someone who knows way more about the Falcons/Saints matchup than you, let’s just say it’s probably one of if not the best rivalries in the NFL.
  13. Unfortunately Georgia teams and Atl in particular is only good for this against the Saints.
  14. Exactly what it sounds like. Person who is responsible for making meals based off a nutritionists guidelines. Now if this was 1950 their might be another definition to “live-in-chef”. Ha
  15. I hope Daboll can scheme different than trying to line Josh up in shotgun and hoping that solves it.
  16. I am starting to wonder how much of the play calling didn’t help cover up the line’s deficiencies. Don’t get me wrong I think the line we had in the Chiefs game is the best line.
  17. PFF is garbage. People who give legitimacy to anything they produce lose credibility with me.
  18. This is exactly what’s coming. 2, need them to evaluate
  19. I believe he means 12 personnel or extra lineman not ratio run/pass
  20. I like the one Amazon did on the Cards while Arians was there. Such a good dude.
  21. So arguably missing our two most impactful lineman this week in Star and Spencer…don’t like that.
  22. Love Beasley and I think we are under valuing what he brings to the team. Maybe see if they can restructure him for one more year and then target Hunter Refrow in 2023.
  23. @eball, I hear you. What makes me think you are on to something is McDermott’s locker room speech about leadership and then Josh’s breakdown of not riding the emotional roller coaster. The message was subtle but clear. Prepare for your opponent like professionals and leave the emotions out of it. The loss to Pitt and then the Jags really helped this team learn something. If they can sustain this approach for an entire season, nobody is beating this team(injuries aside). I felt this way before the Jax game, but now I really believe it. Every year a team takes on an identity, this years team is learning how to navigate the pitfalls that come with success.
  24. You know Belichick is going to try and block one in a few weeks. Wonder if the Pats ever got to one of Haack’s punts when he was with Miami.
