Upcoming Game: Bills @ Bengals
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Homey D. Clown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good point. just seems this year Fitz has really stepped up as the leader. He seems to have fun during the games, and doesn't take himself too serious. easy to get behind a guy like that and rally around him. -
Upcoming Game: Bills @ Bengals
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Homey D. Clown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For once i would agree. I am not saying the Bills should be over confident, but if i am Gailey i play up the Fitz angle to the players. To me it seems like everyon on this team Loves Fitz(like the rest of us). Right before they go out tell the guys, lets win this one for Fitz and show these Bengals they made the biggest mistake ever letting him get out of here. Run it up and leave no doubt! -
CBS Sports Power Rankings

Atlanta's Oline looks horrible! Clabo isn't really the problem, Baker the LT is a turnstile. Baker was a first round pick the same year they took Ryan-2008. If you watched that Sunday night game he got man handled. They have also been missing their center and Harvey Dahl is gone from last years line. I like the Falcons but picked them as my NFC team that would regress this year. Like the Chiefs of the AFC. So far this season i will take Bell every day over Baker. -
Chan Gailey's play calling

I hope the Bills dont think like some posters here. They wont score 34 points if they think they can just show up and do that. You saw this past Sunday that if you do not execute, you lose games. I think we would all agree, the Pats have more PROVEN talent on their team. Not saying they are a better team, just that they have a lot of guys that have been historically better. If anyone thinks the win against the Pats scares the Bengals you are wrong, just the opposite, it fires them up. Bengals now want to be the ones to knock the Bills off. The target on the Bills back gets bigger every week. Remember, just last year, the Bills were the Bengals, and how many good teams did the Bills give all they wanted?

Marvin Lewis Guarantee Victory over Buffalo

I hope Chan is saying to the guys 'lets go beat this team like we did KC. We are a much better team then Cincy, lets have the score reflect that." To me this week is another opportunity for Chan and the team to show how different they are then the 2008 team. Go out and beat the hell out of a team that isn't in your class. It woul dbe nice to have a second half of rest instead of all our hearts beating out of our chests again. -
BB.com sez Wilfork slammed Fitznoggin into turf
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Scrappy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
listen pal, It sounded like the "pats' fan was trying to say Chan had no balls. Sorry, but i know a lot about football, and b.s. Your Pats friend sounds like he has sour grapes. Cause someone out coached his coach. -
Belichick's sportsmanship (or lack their-of)

Actually met Mr Levy many times. I dont recall however him once stopping the game for one of his 'fits'. But thanks for trying. -

You mean the Bills coach is better then the NE coach? Wow, i thought Belichik invented football. -
Belichick's sportsmanship (or lack their-of)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Buffalo Beeeews's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is a package deal i think. Brady and Belichick. Brady to me is a very weak minded guy, that Belichick is able to manipulate. I am not talking about Brady's talent or ability to win games in pressure situations. But if you watched yesterday, when things aren't going his way, Brady loses it. He always had. Thats why forever coaches and fans of other teams know you have to hit him. An di for one couldn't have been more happy watching Belichick blow up. To me, could be wrong, but it showed he thinks he is bigger then the game. The way he was treating the refs, and on the field. Anyways, Bills won and thats all that matters. Now i really want to beat them in NE at the end of the year. When you know Brady and Belichick will be wanting to beat Buffalo. -
The worst thing about this season

Live for now guys. I am chosing to look at the Manningless Colts as one less tough team to beat on the way to the Super Bowl! -

Wow, thats great. To see a guy who takes himself so serious dressed like that! Ha -
If you have it on DVR, listen to right after Florence says the team thought they could win. Harrison is laughing, and quickly pulls himself back together has cameras come back to the studio. He is and always was a dirt ball. He is the ying to the Classy Tony Dungy yang.

Chan is setting the energy
atlbillsfan1975 replied to atlbillsfan1975's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
exactly. chan has the pulse of this team and the game itself. how refreshing to watch a coach that understands things and make decisive decisions. May not always work, but he is pushing the right buttons so far. Both on game day and personel. Good for Chan, he is a good guy, getting his last shot(probably) to head coach in the NFL. He was a cast off just like a lot of HIS players. They just need to keep the hunger and focus, and sky is the limit! -
Lets enjoy today. All of us in Bills nation. Tomorrow the team starts getting ready for Bengals. If the Bills play and coach as well the rest of the year, no reason this isn't a playoff team, and god only knows what. When you look around the NFL, the Bills just beat the scariest team. God this feels good!!!

I watched a game at the bar right next store a few years back. The Miami away game in 2009. Boring as hell game, and still Mc Faddens was rocking! I can believe it.

Who needs high draft picks?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to onceagain778's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Enjoy the win today. Tomorrow focus on Bungals. Dont worry about anything else. -
I know the Bills didnt get the fourth down, and i think N.E went back down the other way and scorred? But when Chan went for it on the fourth down, it showed The bills have a coach that understands the game. Chan knew N.E was rolling on O and knew he needed to take a shot. How many times under Jauron on one the other coaches over the last 12+years would have punted it? Chan is setting the mind set.

Yes! But now i have to keep this damn beard for another week!! -
Thought it would be a shoot out, like it was, and thought Bellichek(sp)(wait i dont give a sh*t) would out coach Chan. Glad i was wrong. This is a huge win!!!! Shows everyone this is a real team. This team is different then 2008. The Bills beat best team in the league today!! So i guess that makes Buffalo the best team, for ths week! Now lets go beat the Bungals and keep this thing rolling!!!!

He was a mess while in Atlanta. I think Brett would even admitt the best thing that ever happened to him was being traded to GB. His career would never have been what it was w.o that move. Holmgren mentored him into the player he was, maybe like Chan is doing with Fitz?

Bengals Still Keeping it Real
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Stl Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are spot on with all your points. A person can get addicted to anything not just drugs-food, gambling, working out....etc. It usually is the direct result of an underlying issue/problem (which you pointed out). Some people understand that and others dont. I know i did not till i saw it first hand. -
Jackson annoyed by contract
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In my original response i said 3 years at 5 mil a season. front load it. And the fact he signed it while Marshawns back up is irrelevant really. He wouldn't have gotten a better deal anywhere else. Lets also remember it was the Bills who found Freddy and gave him his shot...i mean if we are being Fair.
