That was the tip to me that they weren't going to run a play. I have seen this done a few times, Think Chan has done it while HC at Tech. I agree with this. say what you will about Ray Ray, but the guy is like having a coach on the field. He brings everyone around him up a notch. I dont necessarily like all his hoopla, but the guy backs it up. He brings 100% on game day, and demands the same out of the other 10 guys on the field with him. The Bills may have a guy or two like that on the team now in Fitz and Johnson. maybe Marcell can develope into a dominate player/leader on D for us too

Gore made the coment on ESPN's show 'First Take', Thanks Frank, the Eagles have a crap load of talent, and looks like you can add they will be more motivated then ever. This is already a must win type of game for them. I like Buffalo's chances to beat Philly and understand that what someone says doesn't really matter, but why couldn't Gore just shut up? The NFL is the biggest and best pro sports league in the US for a reason, marketing. I might be a total cynic here but they realize the biggest area of growth for them is in woman viewers. Think about it. How many times does the 'woman throwing the man jersey in her boyfriends face' come on? And yes i agree that breast cancer is a great cause, so not offended by it or care really that the guys wear pink. I think it is genius for the NFL to take it up as much as they have. Win/Win really.

This game was what many of us were worried about. The Bills seemed to get over confident, or weren't as focused. Gailey did seem to call a very vanille/basic offense. I remember once on a second and one the Bills tried to run the ball straight up the middle and got shut down, even lost 2 yards. I thought to myself 'Chan is better then that'. 2 and 1 go for a play action and take a shot deep. it was while the Bills were up already, and could have been the dagger. Oh well, Bills are still 3-1 and headed home to play the Eagles. This will be another good test for our Oline and Dline. The Bengals showed that our Oline still has some more growing to do. And The Eagles play a very tough physical game.

It sounded to me like Hairston is going to be a gamer for them too. Needs some seasoning but by next year could have 3 tackles and 3 gaurds that are all competent starters in this league. And between wood and levitre have two all pros.

Didnt Buddy hire Chan? And the two ,Chan and Buddy, work well together it seems. Sorry but Buddy is playing a big role in this teams progress, to say a GM isn't a big reason why a team is succesful or not, is silly. look at the Bills GM over the last 10 years previous to Buddy. Oh wait you can't cause they didn't have one!!! and look where that got them!! No way to say yet if Spiller was a bad pick or not this early. We are starting to see signs he has play making ability. Chan is holding him back, wouldn't be surprised to see an increased role later in the season for him.

Hell how old was Kurt Warner his 'rookie' year with St Louis? 27 i think. And he played for 12 more years and went to a Super Bowl at 38. And he carried that team to the Super Bowl. Outside of kicker, QB is one position you can play at a high level well into your 30's. Will Fitz? God we all hope so!
