  1. He a burner or a slot guy?- 5'10 and 190. 4.57 40 isn't great, but if he can get back to 4.3, then who knows. i know the name but not sure what he is best suited at, i know we got some OU fans on here and would like to hear what they have to say about him.
  2. You mean cost us the first game against the Pats?
  3. Dude, it is a sign on a delivery vehicle for a restuarant and i can gaurantee it is not in as good of shape as it was before he knocked it off. If you want to argue symantics i can too. Having said that, we are both hoping he produces. I did read the story, being from Atlanta i was interested in where he grew up and where he was from. Sorry man, but your not the only person who can read on the board. Good luck and have a nice day trying to pick fights.
  4. Every QB in the league would. And it may be the line for a year while he developes and gets acclimated to the speed of the league. Personally i think he works in with hairston at LT or starts completely. Hairston is your swing tackle. as pointed out here in other threads, Glenn gives you insurance if Levetre wants crazy money.
  5. What i take from that is Irsay is friends with the Vikes owner, and thus trying to help a friend. He is helping add more chum in the water. Tannehill is way to unproven and raw to be taken this early. I have been saying that for awhile. He could develope into a great QB or he could be the next Ryan Leaf, Tim Couch etc...
  6. he was best suited for gaurd while he was developing. UGA moved him to LT his senior year because they felt he would do well there, and he did. He was an all SEC tackle. best confrence in the nation, no one can argue that point. He is a freak athlete that needs coaching, news flash, ever guy coming out of college needs coaching. He has proven he can handle tackle in the SEC. He was not 'So-So'. That is an opinion, but one that is backed with little info.
  7. Never said a word about Floyd's character. I have pointed out that i do not think he is the pick due to Buddy not attending his pro day, and he is not scheduled for a visit. I also pointed out that a highly doubt Buddy and Chan will take a wr in the first from ND. But no, his drinking incidents, are not the reason i am not a proponnent of Floyd at 10. Personally, drinking incidents in college do not really scare me off a guy. That is just me.
  8. Seeing as thou Buddy did not attend ND pro day and he is not scheduled for a visit to the Bills complex, i find it hard to believe the Bills take Floyd. I think it is Glenn in the first then they go best player at postion of need for round 2-4. LB, WR, CB. In that order of need. 5-7 it is just best player available. It really is that simple. the complexness comes from grading the guys and your need. I think the coaches and Buddy know the needs very well. I think Buddy and Whaley can grade talent well.
  9. I hope he succeeds. It would be a very good story. Breaking a sign at a fast food restaurant is no where near what he went through to get where he is. He sounds like a person trying to turn his life around. If you can not root for that, then it says more about you and less about him.
  10. to a point i agree. If you have a LT you know will not need help against an opposing DE then you have an extra guy to throw to
  11. I laughed so hard at that, and then felt very bad for doing so.
  12. If your Oline is set, and i mean a wall, suddenly the entire offense looks better. Chan can use his entire play book not just the 'shotgun 2.5 second passing game part'. The Dline was solidified already w Williams and Anderson. These two signings will make everyone on D look better. You still could get 3 more good players with your 3rd and 2 4th rounders. A starting Lb can be found here as well as a WR and a CB. A great Oline can control an entire game.If you can run and pass the ball you keep your D on the sideline. A well rested D is an aggresive one. I do not see him making the move, but if he could, it would be awesome. To finally have a great OL and DL, i am sorry but the old "the game is won or lost in the trenches' is true. Just ask NE
  13. I voted for Kuechly, i am not a big fan of taking a LB that high. Of course their are exceptions, but to me he does not scream can't miss/stud LB.
  14. If it only took swapping your first for theirs and your second rounder then yes, i would do it in a heartbeat. Saying that, i think Nix stays pat, and grabs Glenn. In 2 years from now we are very happy we got to good starters from this draft instead of one.
  15. they just may do that, but i would not be suprised if they tried to move one of them inside. Unless they think Jasper will be a viable back up option this season. Bills are thin on interior guys, especially given Woods injury history. No i do not think Woods is a D Bell, but sometimes a player has bad luck and can not stay healthy.
  16. I am on the same page A guy like Glenn could be the perfect fit. He can be groomed for LT, rotating in with Hairston. Or could play either gaurd spot. Glenn started his entire senior year at LT and was an all SEC performer. he went against the best in the country every week. If Buddy takes him i would believe he thinks Glenn is the real deal.
  17. yeah man, Buddy just seems to me like a guy that is stuck in his ways. He knows and likes Southern players, hard to argue when the SEC wins the NC every year. Not sure who i would take in round one, my heart likes Glenn being a UGA fan, but not sold on him this high. If Buddy like it i am cool with it. What about Glenn in the first and either Hill or Jeffrey in the second??
  18. Yeah, but hasn't Buddy been pretty 'hands on' when it comes to his early picks? Maybe can someone find the Pro Days Buddy did attend? This coupled with the visits may shed more light on who the first pick could be?
  19. Pro Day was April 3. I can not find where it says the Bills where there. Looks like Chicago was there and Claussen was.
  20. Great effort. And i like the draft except for the first two picks. I just do not see buddy going outside the south in rounds one and two. I think McGee makes the team, and has a great season. I think White(olb) makes it on the team, if he can stay healthy. He is my sleeper guy.
  21. You can not play a game when you are talking about your first rounder. Also the way Pro Days are set up and the fact you can have 30 guys in for a visit, helps you not say for certain who you want first. Other teams know the Bills needs, if Mayock, Kiper, and McShay do. If he does not come in for a visit, Floyd will not be the pick.
  22. I actually started a thread back in March stating that if Nix was not at Floyd's Pro Day it would be a strong indicator he was not going to be drafted. I got called a moron pretty much, and maybe i am, but i think i am right about this. The fact that Nix was not there and that they do not have him scheduled for a visit, is saying he wont be the pick. I mean Nix has not played a game so far, and if you think he is now, it is probably because you want Floyd at 10.
  23. The one thing i like about Reiff is he was a stud wrestler. This is one thing that can really help an offensive lineman. Oline, as we all know is about leverage. Size and strength are important, but its about moving your guy to somewhere he does not want to go. Dline man in the NFL are big and strong, it usually comes down to who gets the best postioning of hands and who gets lower. Having said all that, i am still not sold on Reiff, would rather Glenn. he has more upside and versatility.
  24. I really do not like a wr out of ND at 10, that has had some issues off the field. But if Buddy and Chan like him, fine. But then to go wr in the second again seems a little tough to swallow. The Bills have other glaring area's of need, and i would find it hard to believe there will not be players with similar 'grades' available in those areas. Couple this with the fact the Jeffrey struggled this year with his weight and production on the field, i do not like him in the second. And as one other poster mentioned, Buffalo is not the place for someone who lacks discipline in eating. Too much great food!!! They Bills already have like 9 guys under contract at WR. And i know that does not mean much, but i think Chan believes his system can make a wr a star. When you look at OT and LB, the Bills are in serious need of players.
