OL coach Bobby Johnson headed to NY, has signed contract
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not to mention how good guards look when they leave the Bills. This doesn’t concern me. -
Is Josh still not the QB Belichick would want?

Gunner's 2022 Mock Draft (v3 and FINAL - p.17!!)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Williams is never making it to the Bills. I wish, but think your mock will change and have him in the top 15 based off info on his rehab progress. I’ve seen Williams mocked to the Bills in a few of these so far. Makes me think it will never happen. Teams just saw how Burrow and Chase changed the Bengals in one season. Williams is that kind of game changer. -
You are still a troll. You came on this board within minutes of winning the Super Bowl to rub it in. Reid pissed that game away. Your coach choked and he can’t blame it on inexperience. Mahomes looked like crap. Let’s see how your “dynasty” looks now that they have to start paying Mahomes salary. I have a feeling we see the Chief begin to fade. No I have ZERO empathy for you. You haven’t changed, you are the same. Enjoy the loss and off season. Enjoy checking the headlines to see which one of your players gets arrested for domestic violence.

Free Agents - who do you like?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am in no hurry to sign Wallace. Bates and Phillips, sure. Wallace is a product of the system. He is slow with limited skills. -
He is a complete troll. I went into the Josh Allen draft reaction thread. @Zerovoltzwas on the first page laughing about the pick. Mahomes played like hot garbage in the second half and Reid went back to looking like the choke artist who lost in Philly all those years.
-
And the fact that Hill couldn’t bring in pass that hit him right in the hands is awesome. Him and Jones are the least likable players in the entire NFL. @Zerovoltz

The result was perfect. I always root for the team that’s never won a Super Bowl. Mahomes looked terrible in the second half @Zerovoltz

Do you really want a rookie Offensive Coordinator ?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Might not happen. What if Dorsey values his relationship with Daboll and wants to prove he can develop another quarterback. Not saying it’s Daniel Jones, but Dorsey might see this as an opportunity to prove himself verse staying with Josh and having his coaching skills diminished by the skills of Josh the player. Just a thought and I could be wrong. -
Brian Daboll hired to be Head Coach of NY Giants
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
The only reason I can think of is McDermott. For me, it would confirm a concern I have, that McDermott was interfering with the offense at times this season and there was rift between Daboll and McD. Dorsey might have witnessed this and/or heard Daboll saying the HC wants this so we do this. Dorsey also might have a better relationship with Dabes. Couple of possibilities. -
Anyone would love to be the OC with Josh as the QB. It’s a non issue.
-
You don’t. Simply passing along information.
-
He had to leave UGA due to grades. McKenzie is an ok player. There is absolutely no reason to believe Stevenson can’t be the same type of player.
-
How are your Pats looking? Eh, Hill was already getting banged up this year at times. To think he will be at this elite speed into his mid 30’s is to think like a blind loyalist to your team. I have never seen one offensive player in the NFL keep his speed at that age. Hill will have a sharp decline.
-
Nah, I just know how important Dline is and UGA has a couple of guys on it that will be good in the pros. Wyatt might slip to the second round. You are infatuated with Davis’ size. Do you think Doyle is to big to play offensive tackle? The biggest difference between 2020 and 2021 regarding the D was the addition of Star and the emergence of Phillips after he got fully healthy from his second ACL tear.
-
We can agree to disagree. If Davis played in the PAC 12 his stats would be 2-3x what Phillips were. The other UGA DT Devonte Wyatt sounds more like the size you prefer. Again, huge upgrade over Phillips. The knee for Phillips scares me. Not sure what “Money Down” player means, but the league is about passing and stoping the pass. Dlineman must be considered here when you run a 4-2-5 and want pressure from your 4 lineman. Having an even more disruptive DT to go with Oliver means the tackles are left one on one with your Ends.
-
Comparing stats in the PAC 12 with stats from the SEC is something I won’t even engage you on. I like Harrison Phillips, but he isn’t in the same ball park talent wise as Davis. Davis is big, fast, and agile. Now I am not advocating for Davis or a 1 tech, I know what one is btw, I played oline on the collegiate level. Day one starters for interior oline can be found on day two and three of the draft. Bills do need line help on O and D, I can get on board with that.
-
Jameson Williams, from Bama, is the receiver I would take where the Bills are picking in the first round. In the second round, I like Wan’dale Robinson from Kentucky. I could be talked into CB, DL, WR in the first where the Bills are picking. I think interior olineman are better value picks in the 2-5 rounds.

He will keep improving, every great coach was good first.
-
Also a very cool, low key guy. Glad he is on our team.

Sullivan: Bills' McDermott choked away Super Bowl-caliber season
atlbillsfan1975 replied to QCity's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermott had improved year to year and will continue to do so, I believe. He is a bright person with tons of energy. What about that says he won’t improve? He already has a history he will get better. Maybe a retread is what you are looking for? Even Belichick improved year over year. Jeesh some of you really need to get a grip. I understand being upset the Bills lost and the way they did, but McD isn’t going anywhere nor should he. -

You are kind of proving the point that coaches will get better. Andy Reid was considered the king of choking when he was in Philly.
