  1. this If you think Murray is going in round four you are high. 2nd round at latest. the guy set SEC records all over the place. He was hamstrung this year with injuries all over the place. And his D was horrible. I am not sure how Murray will pan out, but he will be a 1-2nd rounder.
  2. Every year they pull you back in. Even through out the year you should know what they are going to do yet you fall for it again.
  3. Guys the problem is not EJ. Look no further then Hackett and thus Marrone. Sorry but these guys will be here two more dreadful seasons and then be fired. They are both in way over their head. They will be here just long enough to ruin EJ's career and confidence. Then Marrone will be an OC back in college and Hackett his QB coach. Sorry but they lost me yesterday. I watch a lot of Falcons football. The Bills stunk and wher eunder prepaired after a bye. Inexcuseable. I hated the Marrone hire when it was made and hate it more now. The guy stinks. Clueless. He is another Mularky, Williams. and Dickie J!!
  4. Yep! Marrone is in over his head. Hackett is horrible. This is a bad hire. I hated it when it happened and now i hate it more. The guy is just a complete failure. Sorry but you can go from on eof the worse team in the league to a playoff team in the NFL. It happens. The talent IS on this team. Coaching will once again ruin the talent. This is another Mike Mularky guy! Thanks for the hire of Marrone!!
  5. Stevie should be traded in the offseason. Stevie has proven time and time again he is not a true number one. And for those who point to his back to back 1000yd seasons, i ask- how many of those yards game in garbage time? I mean time when the Bills where out of the game and he racked up some stats? Stevie would be a good number 2. The problem is Stevie does not appear to have the maturity to handle this demotion. So best thing would be trade him and get what you can before the draft.
  6. They have and got beat pretty bad by Seattle(better D than the Bills) and Carolina(as good as Buffalo's).
  7. Think they would call the Bills Buffalo Ralpie? Some think the real Ralph has been crapping on the field for years!
  8. I was born in Buffalo but have grown up down here in Atl for the most part. Atlanta is a big city and only getting bigger. The stereo types of the south are not really relevant in Atl anymore. The funniest thing i ever heard was the Civil War reffered to as 'The War of Northern Aggresion'. Ha As far as Falcon fans they are getting a lot better. More and more Atl is building a fan base. Blank will get a SB ring at some point.
  9. Get the best TE in the first or CB/Safety if there is not a TE there. No matter if EJ is the answer or not an athletic pass catching TE goes a long way in helping a young QB develope. You can get a starting caliber gaurd on in the 2nd or 3rd round.
  10. The Saints vs Falcons is a huge rivalry. It is like eone of those games where you throw the record out. For years in the 80's and 90's one of the two teams would always be decent while the other would stink. Usually more times then not the team that stunk would upset the better team and ruin playoff hopes. That does not really mean much today except that they really do not like each other much and know each other well. This translates into hard fought games typically. The Bills should win this game. If this team is really turning the corner they need to go out there and beat ATL and beat them pretty darn good.
  11. I use to think like this about him. Till he won the Super Bowl. Also many of those games he lost to NE while with the Colts where hardly his fault. Some he did not play good at all. I really think the weather effects his play more then any other great QB. yep. After last night there is no team the Pats can not beat in the AFC. For sure if they get homefield. But i also think the Pats could go into Denver or KC and win. KC is average at best on Offense. In the NFC unless Seattle is there in the SB i would go with Pats against most anyone else. If the Saints make it i would for sure load up on NE. I like the Saints more then NO from a class stand point but i will take Brady outside in the cold and wind over a dome team any day.
  12. I got to agree with you here. Right now it is really just about the Bills winning. No matter what happens the Bills have to finish 9-7 to be in position to get that final spot. Also even if the Bills do not get the final spot but finish 9-7 it would be great for the team as motivation for next year and confidence. To reach 9-7 the Bills would have a winning division record. They would have beat Miami 2x and beat NE once. Lets just hope they win next Sunday and keep us watching for another week.
  13. I know you are kidding about Manning and his arm. But i also think there is something to when it gets colder out his performance begins to slip to him being just a good qb, not a great one. last night he was a below average QB. Now i will confess i stoped watching last night at halftime but the numbers suggest Manning strugges continued into the second half. Brady is still Brady. It almost is like the Pats are like the Colts use to be with Manning. There is not much to speak of, a couple players here and there on D, but the team is not very good. Due to Brady being who he is they are always able to win a game. IF the Pats get homefield i have a feeling they are back in the SB. AND given the fact that the SB is outside in the cold the Pats could very well win one more. Give me a better cold weather and bad conditions passer then Brady?
  14. there are lots of Buffalonians in ATL. yeah they have. Gonzalez and Ryan play what looks like a NBA guard throwing down to a big man in the post. This is honestly there go to play for a short yardage down. I have agreat feeling about this game but last time i had that the Bills lost to the Jets the first time! Ha
  15. having just been to NO a few weeks ago i can say they belong in the top 5. Those people love their Saints and show it with class from what i saw. It is a tough list to do but think the guy did a decent job overall.
  16. No i meant Hughes. Unless he is hurt? Gonzalez is going to be a hand full. Stick McKelvin on the Falcons little guy Johnson. Gilmore would be fine with R. White. Roddy does not look right with the injury.
  17. So what do you think right now about RGIII? .
  18. It was about 70% full maybe 80% at the mid point of second quarter(usually when the max amount of fans are at the game). Of that i would say the breakdown was pretty much 50/50 ATL and NO. It was not a very lively bunch either way. NO always wants to beat ATL and the fact they sat a couple guys like Sproiles i am sure played into it. But i think it was more about ATL trying to rally around Smith at home on National TV game against their rivals. Atl gave NO all they had, it just wa snot enough. Personally i think the Bills have a much better D then the Saints do. The style of D is similar, but i think the Bills have better talent. Byrd should have a big game if the boys up front are doing their jobs. i see no reason why the front four should not have a field day. Hughes could be the guy to also have a big game. I am sure the Falcons will key on M Williams, leaving the other side more open. This is a game the Bills need to win. Not just because it keeps the playoff hopes alive but because the Bills right now are a better team then ATL is. Get two wins in a row and build a little confidence.
  19. I went to the Falcons game last night. I actually focused on the Dline and Oline play of Atlanta. Atlanta's Dline played a pretty darn good game. They where around Brees a lot and they did a good job against the run for most of the game. In the 4th quarter they gave up a couple big runs around the left side. The Falcons secondary also looked a lot better then they had been looking for the most part. Their safeties are there weak spot in the passing game. Weatherspoon was back and looked good. He is a good 3 down lb who can cover a TE. On O the Falcons just can not run the ball consistently. They struggle to establish a run game. Thus the Dline is able to tee off on Ryan. The Saints where getting pressure around the edges and when Ryan tried to step up there where guys in his face. It appeared that pressure was also very constant up the middle as well. The front four shoudl have a field day for the Bills. Should. WR's wise the kid Johnson is a quick guy who Ryan loved last night. Tony G had a couple nice catches like he always does, and S. Jackson also is a good pass catching back. Overall the Falcons appeared to wear down over the game. Atl has been hit bad with injuries so the depth is thin and guys are playing big minutes that Atl probably wished where not. Atlanta gave it all they had last night and the game was good and close. Atl and NO are bitter rivals so the games are usually close. I really do like the Bills chances to win this game. The Bills need to rotate guys in at Dline and wear down the Falcons O line. Ryan knows he has to try and win the game so he is forcing things. Bills could get some Int chances.
  20. sarcasm? Sounds to me like this guy is about as good as some posters on here when it comes to QB evaluation.
  21. Because if you are saying he is by far the best qb but that can change due to one bad game, then he must not be by far the best. BTW, what is his track record on projecting talent? And who is he? I do not know a thing about the guy. Not saying that means anything, but i do follow the NFL and college football pretty closely.
  22. I have no clue who Cosell is. I am nit sure what track record he has with QB or player analysis. But to the OP, yes him sayin gone bad game could change everything makes him sound like a 'shock' type of guy. How can you say one guy is by far better, but give the disclaimer of a bad game changing everything. Honestly he does not sound very credible to me
  23. I agree with you OP. but instead of Stevie i would put CJ out there. I think we all know now what CJ is. He is a dynamic back with great speed but he is not a 18-22 carry guy. He is a R. Bush type of back. You could easily get a second for him in this draft and probably a third in 2015. I believe CJ contract is up after 2014 anyway, and i doubt the Bills resign him. Draft a RB in the second or third and use Freddie for another year. Keep Stevie, Goodwin, Woods, and Graham. Get a TE in the first or second. OG in first or second. LB's in FA. CB and OL&DL in later rounds.
  24. You are correct about Dimitroff. The Julio Jones trade as well as the Gonzalez trade have cost the Falcons depth. Also Dimitroff has not shown himself to be very astute at picking linemen on both sides of the ball. His first rounder P. Jerry has been a McCargo type bust to this point. S. Baker has been often injured and has not been good when in there at LT. The Falcons actually moved him to RT. Also the Clabo signing and then his decline killed them coupled with McClure the center retiring after last season. Also Harvey Dahl who was the 'mean' guy on the Oline was allowed to walk. Falcons are ripe for a Bills running over. The only thing which makes me a little nervous is that it is in a dome. Outside in Buffalo in December i think this would be a laugher.
