  1. Package Stevie and CJ for a first next year! Ha Seriously, Stevie is a nice player. He is not a true number one for a few reasons- Pedestrian speed and not clutch. His contract is not crazy, nor will Watkins. Why cut or trade Stevie right now? Use him this season. Get rid of the fringe WR's- Hogan and Graham.
  2. I like it. Can still get a couple more guys in this draft to help win now. Bills are all in on EJ. Look what AJ Green has done to make Dalton look good.
  3. I think you saw guy in Clowney who wanted to turn pro last year, know that he was going to to top 3 no matter what and did not want to risk an injury. To me i can understand that, he wants to get paid. Clowney witnessed his friend and team mate Lattimore go from a first rounder to a fourth(i believe?).
  4. Not a Tackle. I want Clowney- He is as close to a sure thing as there is in this class. Future Hall of Famer potential all over him. I do not want to give up picks, so this is a dream. I will take Evans or Ebron on Offense. On D give me a stud LB to go with Kiko for years to come. Safety/CB is the wild card, still may happen.
  5. A wise man once told me- if you are already breaking the law don't break the law. Stories like this always amaze me. Why speed when you know you have drugs in the car? Not condoning drugs or speeding for that matter, but you just increase your chances of bad things happening. Hopefully Marcell gets a slap on the wrist and is embarrassed by this and kicks some butt this year.
  6. Bills can not afford to move up and give away picks, sorry. None of these guys except for Clowney to me are can't miss(baring injuries). If Bills did move up to three i would hope it was to take him, but no way Clowney gets to the third pick, and if he does Atlanta will jump all over it.
  7. A. Don't drink and dress 2. Who holds the hand over the ass? Grab the dang thing Tommie!
  8. You just really hurt J.P's feelings as far as Manziel, no thanks. To me his game translates to a poor man's Mike Vick. He is not as fast or has the same 'big' arm. He does have a better pocket awareness than Vick. However in the NFL those Defenders will not miss and one arm from an NFL Dlineman will bring down the slight of build Manziel. I also do not like his mental make-up. When the going gets tough i doubt he rises above it. Everything he did this past season was a show. It felt so staged. Like the speaches during the Duke game when cameras were around. If Teeblow went in the first Manziel surely will, i just hope the Bills are able to bamboozle the Cowboys and get a helluva trade for him.
  9. Good kid. Lot sof upside. I am a UGA fan watched almost every game. He has tendencies to be streaky. Really good or not good. he is at his best when he has good players around him. I do not see him as someone who elevates talent. i say this due to the injuries which occured this past year. I will also say i am not a big Mike Bobo fan, the OC for UGA. Given some good coaching Murray may be a quality QB in the NFL
  10. Or as an old O lineman he knows WR's are not something you give the farm away for.
  11. I agree with you completely. But i do not think stars are only found in the first 3-5 picks, Trading away valuable picks in the second round or other first rounders does not make sense to me. On a 6-10 team the Bills need more quality drafts like last years.
  12. Side story about Ferentz. I was talking to Dave Caldwell the Jags GM awhile back when he was still with the Falcons. This was just before Buddy got hired. I asked Dave if he put in for the Bills GM job, he said he had not. I asked him if he had and he had been hired who would be his coach? Ferentz was his answer.
  13. Sign him to a 2 year deal that is heavy incentive ladden. Give him a decent signing bonus for an over 30 RB, maybe 2 mil? base salary of 1.5mil per year and can double that with production? He most likely will not double it but maybe make around 2mil if he has decent numbers. Plus what he mean to the team can not be valued really. he is a pro and loves Buffalo.
  14. 'making a statement' is not a prudent reason for trading up. Getting an all pro that is agame changer is. The ONLY guy i see that fits that is Clowney. Even he has some questions due to how he approached last season. I feel once he is a pro he will act and be a pro. Clowney is the next premiere DE. I just do not think Buffalo is in the position to trade up and give away starters. Not when you are a 6-10 team. The Bills need another draft like last years.
  15. I think it does. If you were involved with a winnning way of doing things why would you change them? in Pitt. Whaley saw two things first hand 1. You need a QB 2. You build your team through the draft, not FA. This leads me to believe Whaley sits pat or moves back to collect more picks that could be starters- 1st-3rd rounders.
  16. Just do not see it. Whaley is cut from the clothe that you need a team of good players to win. When did the Steelers ever trade up while Whaley was there? When have the Bills traded up since Whaley has been here? I mean first round or second round. The Bills need to add more good player'S'. Trading up will mean being able to get at least one less possible starter in this draft. More of a possibility of the Bills trading back.
  17. When the Bills needed a LT a few years ago they waited till the second round and took Glenn. Why now are the Bills going to take a lesser impact spot on the Oline in the first? It appears this draft has plenty of good OT's that will be available in the second or better yet 3rd round. Nothing about taking a RT in the first feels good to me, unless it comes in the high 20's and the Bills got an extra pick or two in a trade.
  18. I think you found the right gear. Not to mention when the Bills 'needed' a LT two years ago they waited till the second round. Now with them needing a RT i do not see them taking one at 9. Call me crazy but they will get more of an impact player at 9 and get Oline help a little later on.
  19. Gotcha, thank you. So why not pay cheerleaders min. wage? And just have them wear skimpy clothes and run around and do jumping jacks at time outs and such? I mean you would only have to pay them for like 3 hours every sunday. No need to practice or anything. my point is for so long cheerleading at the professional level has tried to hide what it realy is, a showcase of good looking women to distract men at time outs and half time. There is no competition like at the lower levels. So just be honest, guys don't care that you kicked your leg at the same time as the other 20+ something women. Heck most guys are focused on one or two cheerleaders at most.
  20. Exactly. Rookie WR's will struggle more times then not. I am too lazy to look up who those six were. But i gotta guess they were 'can not miss' guys coming out of college?
  21. Unless the girls were not provided a contract up front detailing their work and pay and fines, how do they have a leg to stand on? Personally think cheerleaders are silly in the NFL.
  22. That is like saying Jerry Sandusky? Only in the north.... Funny how so many people from the North make ignorant comments about people from the south. The comments sometimes show who is really ignorant.
